We do love how in the midst of all the recession drama and other what nots, we are still doing our best to step out looking awesome and unharrassed, if ever there is a word like that.

Though change has changed us rather somewhat and nearly everything for us, we are still a people that can't be kept down or weighed down by anything. So we always find those channels or avenues for fun and enjoyment.

In celebration of our independence "National day", which we got on October 1, 1960 which this year, falls on Sunday, October 1, 2017 the different kids from across the country went to their various "private" schools happily garbed in various outfits as worn by the different tribes that makes up this great country known as NIGERIA, all looking fabulous. 

Truth be told, many were looking outstanding, and we have got a few pictures here of kids who are children of some of our "stars and
celebrities" representing the "National Day" with much aplomb! From the Yobos, to the Okojevohs, to Mercy Johnson's 3 kids, to the Agwus and Bovi's kids. We salute them all!

We wish all Nigerians Happy independence celebration! 57 years together as one united country, with our glaring differences is no joke!

Our diversity is our strength and thats what makes us unique. God didn't make a mistake in putting us all together. To break us or wanting to break us, is an open admittance saying "GOD MADE A MISTAKE". And God gets it Right in the 1st instance. He never makes a mistake. So in the voice of K.U.S.H "Let's Live Together". One nation under GOD!

Date was Sunday, June 25, 2017. The venue was Christ Embassy, Lekki Lagos, not far from the 4th roundabout along the Lekki-Ajah Expressway. It's just the right turning by the OANDO filling station on the express way.

The occasion was the baby dedication of the gorgeous daughter, the 3rd born child of esrtwhile captain of the senior national football team, Super Eagles in the person of Captain Fantastic, Joseph "JY" Yobo and his supremely gorgeous wife, the former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2008, the one and the only "Adaeze Stephanie Chinenye Yobo".

To show support at the very impromptu occasion, friends and family members all came looking exquisite to the short ceremony which was officiated by one of the female pastors at the church, who did a marvelous job stirring the people up nicely. Men the choir could sing like angels!!!

Some of those we saw at the church were the equally gorgeous and very stylish Caroline Danjuma, who came along with her kids. Truth be told Caroline was totally on point in her classy burgundy top on rainbow coloured pant ensemble and that "sculpted body", mama miaaaa hmmmmmmm....mad on point, was shown off with much aplomb.

We also saw one of the nicest persons on earth, who though a former beauty queen too, "she was MBGN 2004 then" and now at 32 and with 4 kids, would still win a beauty pageant hands down any day and anytime, that's the exquisitely gorgeous "Anita Queen Iseghohi".

Also at the church looking supremely regal in her royal blue outfit, with her new baby in tow was none other than the tall and beautiful Dabota Lawson of the Dabota Cosmetics fame, she seem to have gotten her groove back totally.

Mma Bakassi, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa was there too, looking as smashing as expected, so also were the 2 grandparents, looking very good, Mrs Abigail Igwe, Adaeze's mom wore a stylish sequinned black top on a black pant and heels.

Respected legal practitioner and APC chieftain in the Niger Delta and close family of the Yobos, Mrs Joy Nunieh-Okunnu was also in attendance with her gorgeous daughter.

We loved that yellow outfit as worn by Orisafemi's wife Nabila, who was also present, but she later changed to another sweet short black number later to come to the house.

Mrs. Wendy Ephraim Faloughi, wife of the billionaire oil and gas tycoon and chairman of Sovereign Trust Assurance, Ephraim Faloughi was also in attendance, she being the baby's godmother did all that was required of her very happily. Her stylish outfit topped with the beautiful fascinator, was the definition of sophistication.

There were others there too that we didn't know.

After the church dedication, the whole crew then headed to the "fancy pink palatial edifice" of the Yobos not too far away, for what was supposed to be brunch, but which lasted till about 7pm.

There was much merriment and backslapping as the deejay churned out good jamz to the delight of all, as barbeque and food were served heartily.

Even at a point the ladies decided to honour the dance floor with some movements Lol. Boyyyy !!!! Some of these moms can still move oooooo, Adaeze and Caroline are both dancing queens anyday.

Who was that, that came much later with her gorgeous daughter in tow, twas none other than ex-beauty queen Anna Banner, 22 MBGN 2013.

In all, it was fun and fun galore.

JY OFF TO NORWICH FC OF ENGLAND ON LOAN DEAL

The player reputed with the longest playing record for the national team, the indefatigable captain of the Nigerian National football team, Captain Joseph Yobo has moved back to EPL the most watched football league in the universe. JY as those that are close to him loves to call him, would be plying his trade till the end of this season at Norwich FC.
Albeit on loan from his very rich Turkish club, Fenerbahce where playing time has been few and far between due to the new rules on foreign nationals playing in that country. JY's move on loan to the Canaries is a major plus for the club, as it would help to bolster their defence and help their fight to ascend to a good position on the league table, where they are currently doing well in the middle of the pack in the 12th position.
At 33, the well traveled gentleman footballer has had a glorious professional football career from Standard Liege in Belgium, to Marseille in France, Tenerife in Spain, Everton in England, off to Fenerbahce in Turkey and now on loan back in England with Norwich FC. This is most definitely an opportunity for the Rivers born star to still show he is not tired yet and can still play great football and the highest level. The city of Norwich, which is in Norfolk is about 2 hours plus from London by train.

The financial details of the loan move was not made known.

The captain of the national football team-The Super Eagles of our great country is not presently in the best of moods. Main reason is because some people have thought to rubbish him, throw the name he took time to build in the mud & to try to disunite his family.  


And because of this he has made up his mind that he has not going to take it lying low. We spoke extensively with the ace defender who plays for the Turkish giant Fenerbahce FC earlier today and he told us without mincing a word that all that has been written about him & his extended family members are pack of lies from the pits of hell. 

He says and we quote him ''There's is no iota of truth in the report that has gained grounds of recent'' ''There was no encounter of the such that was described to have happened between my mother-in-law and I''. We as a family are in the best of place in our lives currently. Someone from some place, just sat down and decided to construct a lie: a total fabrication from their own imagination.
                                                                                                     
He went on further ''I love my wife and I love her very much, nothing anyone does can bring any division between us and between our families. The Yobos & the Fashanus have a great relationship, a fantastic one at that and very good mutual respect for each other, and we thank God for that.

From the little we could gather the former Captain of the National Football team-The Super Eagles and one of the most capped Nigerian player ever, Joseph Yobo has investments in real estate & the oil & gas sector. And by virtue of this, the husband of the former Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria 2008(Adaeze Yobo) & the father of one (Joey Jnr) is probably set for life.

It's so good we never gave them any chance. Thank God we didn't jinx them with our supports. This is one of the best times to be a Nigerian. The boys went, saw and they conquered against all odds.

We sincerely congratulate them from the bottom of our hearts. At least for the next few days, the whole Nation's attention would be shifted to the discussions on our win.  A respite sort of for many of our politicians. 

Most especially we congratulate our beloved captain- Joseph Yobo. This is a good crowning glory after all these years. The longest serving player in Nigeria's history lifted the cup after a hard fought victory over the very resilient Burkinabes. 

Congratulations again boys!!!It took 19 good years for us to win our 3rd Nations Cup and it is well worth it. 

Now let's plan ahead for the World Cup in Brazil.  You just don't know? Anything can happen, impossible is nothing!

SPECIAL XMAS & NEW YEAR GREETINGS FROM THE YOBOS

The family of ex-Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, 2008, Adaeze Igwe Yobo, her husband, who is the current Captain of the National Football team, the Super Eagles and a regular at top Turkish football club, Fenerbahce Football Club of Istanbul, Captain Joseph Yobo & their very adorable son, Joey Junior are in the spirit of the season. Christmas is only just a few hours away and the year is about ending in a few days, so they are wishing all, a pleasant end to the year & a merry Xmas. The trio looking very spanking and dressed in Christmas regalia, have thought to send Yuletide greetings to their friends, family members and fans from all over the world. 

We only just came across their special Yuletide greeting cards wishing all & sundry the very best of the season and the joy & unmatchable blessings of the new year. 

The former beauty queen still looks ravishingly gorgeous any day. God has really being kind to her. We wish them the very best of the season too. 

 

 

JOSEPH YOBO SEALS 1.6 BILLION NAIRA 3 YEARS DEAL WITH FENERBAHCE FC

The good times are back again. Yes! After an uncertain period of time not knowing whether, he was going to go back to England or he would be retained in Turkey. The answer was finally sorted as the much loved Captain of the Nigerian National Football team- The Super Eagles, Captain Joseph Yobo, who is also Nigeria's most capped footballer till date, finally put pen to paper and sealed a 3 years deal with the Nos 1 team in the Turkish League- Fenerbahce Fc of Turkey. According to our bird with very large ears, the 3 years deal  would cost the Turkish team in excess of $10Million dollars, which in Naira translate to about N1.6 Billion Naira, that's not all: he is also entitled to another $1Million Dollars in Bonuses per year, this translate to another 160 Million Naira every year for the next 3 years. That's another 480 Million to be added to the 1.6 Billion contract.

From the little we could gather, Fenerbahce paid his former club in England, Everton FC, $2.5 Million dollars to facilitate the full transfer, that had been dragging on for 2 seasons now,this made JY who is referred to as the 'Prince of Istanbul' by the many vociferous fans of Fenerbahce  FC to spend 2 seasons on loan at the Turkish Club before this deal was finally sealed. 

The beauty of the contract signed by JY from what we can gather, is that all the payment is ''TAX FREE'' unlike in the UK where 35% tax is deducted from source from their salaries. So men this is what life should be like.
