Still in the birthday atmosphere and the euphoria of the concomitant attention and being a smart gal, not one to let any opportunity slip by, media personality dujour "Toke Makinwa aka Tokestarr" is sure turning her "media attention & scrutiny" into gold and might be smiling home to the bank for it and we are really happy for her for that.

Even amidst all the fun, she knows that the head needs to be very well screwed on, like the old Yoruba saying goes "even while crying or shedding tears, you are still seeing very clearly", it's obvious she's doing her best to see very clearly.

So madam has added the tag of a "fashion entrepreneur" to her already well loaded resume, Vlogger, author, OAP etc!

Part of the birthday activities was the launch of her own bag Collection. And so the first in the series of the TM Tote is out and we are too sure it would sell out pretty quickly, and that's because Toke is our own version of the American reality TV princess and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner! What ever she touches seem to turn to gold raking in cool money and the evidences are there for all to see and salivate upon!

The "TM" Tote is from her "Baby Gal for Life Collection". The TM is obviously from her initials. Collection was crafted by leather brand Muji for Toke and input is said to have come from her friends Kunbi of April by Kunbi and her sister Estanola Oyelese,.......they all did well. Bag from the picture we have seen is well made and very well finished and it would most likely be well received also.

We are too sure many of Toke's friends would want to support the brand by buying at least one. 

For fashion lovers who wants to get their hands on the Croc bag, which is planned to come in 2 colours of Black and Gold, pre-order would start soon.

Birthday felicitations poured out in torrents for these gorgeous 3, as they all mark an additional year in their lives.

All 3 are ladies who have done very well for themselves in what they do. Olakunbi Oyelese one of the trio today clocked the big 30 and it was an outpouring of heartfelt birthday messages for the delightsome designer, who is the creative genius behind the fashion designing brand April by Kunbi. Truth be told, she's done really well with her label. The graduate of the world famous New York Fashion Institute of Technology is already being celebrated as one of the major generation next in the fashion world in Nigeria. 

Her clientele list keeps growing bigger and bigger by the day, with more celebrities and stars getting hooked. 

We particularly love the birthday message on her instagram page- ''How can I say Thanks for the things you have done for me, Things so undeserved. I have been sick, I have been heartbroken, I have been bereaved, but more than anything I have been Blessed! God has been soo good to me and he's not done with me yet. I 'm super grateful to be alive, celebrating my 30th!!''

I've been blessed with an amazing family and friends that have become sisters and brothers. No one reading this will be cut in the their youth in Jesus name. I want you all to be alive and well when I celebrate my 80th!

The 2nd person is none other than the gracious and gorgeous Ojy Okpe, former model extraordinaire and now wife and mother. Ojy still looks lithe and gorgeous any day. The only other Nigerian model to have gotten major international contract was discovered at the age of 17 years old. 

She's walked for such fashion giants like Ralph Lauren, Gianni Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana & Oscar De la Renta just to mention a few. She's a graduate of the St Johns University with a Bachelors in Science in Communications & a minor in Film Production. 

Ojy on her instagram page just exclaimed thus- Whipee!!! It's my birthday #jumping and #reaching the stars. 

The last but not the least of the trio is none other than one of the biggest names in the Nollywood Industry in Nigeria and by extension Africa- Ini Edo-Ehiagwina. The gorgeous & well respected thespian was born April 19, 1982, making her just 32 years old. The graduate of Theater Arts has done over a century of movies already and she's one of the highest paid also. 

So happyyyyyyyyyy birthday to all the 3 gorgeous ladies, many more eventful years ahead.

Following the launch of the Fayrouz L’Original platform in December 2013 with the ‘Party for the Originals’; Nigeria’s premium soft drink, Fayrouz has announced the search for the best fashion & lifestyle team in Nigeria.

The Fayrouz L’Original Expression show has been put together to discover and promote young and talented fashion-forward undergraduates in universities across Nigeria. The competition, which will see teams of four young creative including a Fashion Designer, Make-Up Artiste, Photographer and a Model, come together to create original ensembles. These teams will battle for the prize money of $20,000 and fashion opportunities of a lifetime.

The competition, which kicks off registration on Wednesday, April 2nd, will feature various prominent individuals who have over the years carved a niche for themselves in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry. Fayrouz has selected these fashion authorities as judges and mentors during the competition, they include celebrity designer and stylists, Mai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired, Kunbi Oyelese of April By Kunbi, Omoyemi Akerele of Style House, Warebi Martha of Catwalk Productions and Nobel Afrik.

Online judges who will also select the final 10 contending teams throughout the competition include the Orange Culture, Gozel Green, Kate Williams among others.

During the competition, registered teams will participate in tasks that will be given every week to move to every phase of the competition. A regional show for the final 10 teams will also hold in Enugu before a grand finale to select the L’Original team, which will hold in Lagos in July.

Interested participants can register on the Fayrouz L’Original official website (www.fayrouzloriginal.com/competition), register all team members and create a portfolio for your team and complete the task given. Contenders must be a student in a university or a corps member to be a part of the competition.

Everyone was totally blown over when we all heard that Maje had finally made a wife of his longtime on/off girlfriend/fiancee. It was with great relief that everyone received the news, majorly because it would finally put an end to all the shenanigan that had followed this relationship from the beginning. The elated new wife in utter joy, had gone on the social media to talk about how things totally took her by surprise- Hear her- 
''We would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us, but this was our registry and so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, It was such a big surprise , I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because I usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe! That was what she said about the whole do, and people were completely gobsmacked!!! One had wondered then about how come she had been able to get the perfect outfit for her day of joy, when she supposedly didn't know nothing was going to happen till the d-day.

Her designer, the very gorgeous Kunbi Oyelese of the April by Kunbi fame, who made the gorgeous gold wedding registry outfit, might have let the real truth out of the bag by mistake.

''I worked under pressure to get it done....Toke called me up and said ''I'm getting married'' and when I asked when? She said ''in 3 days'' ...and I am like seriously.....so I had to work towards a short deadline ....but it was all good''.

Though it the lie is inconsequential, why the need for the fib in the first place? Oooo Ok just a little one to add drama to the script, situation or what?
