NOW THAT GANDUJE HAS WON HIS SUPREME COURT CASE, IS IT END OF THE ROAD FOR EMIR SANUSI AS EMIR OF KANO?

Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, EMIR of Kano

With the Supreme Court today affirming the victory of Dr. Umar Ganduje as the winner of that highly controversial election in Kano, which had the PDP candidate coasting home to an upset victory, until that much needed pause and then re-run election, which eventually gave the victory to the incumbent to do another 4 year term. But for that window given, maybe it's another individual that would have been in charge of the state of affairs of the historical state of Kano now. And if that had been the case, maybe the unnecessary battle of wits between the executive Governor of the Northern states, most prominent state-Kano in the person of Dr. Umar Ganduje and the state's most prominent king/royal father, the Emir of Kano in the person of his royal majesty, Alhaji Muhammed Sanusi II, might have ended by now.

Now instead, their battle has escalated to a point of no return. And if the Government would put action to their threats to strip the king of his title, then the current EMIR of Kano, in fact the 14th Emir to be more precise, in the person of the former fiery and uncompromising Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor from (June 2009 till February 2014), who used to be referred to then as just plain and simple 'Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi', might soon also now affix the tag ex-King (emir) to his name.

It was for his uncompromising stance and mouth then, that he was removed (fired) then as a CBN top honcho, when he battled his employers the FGN THEN during his tenure by exposing them. Now that mouth and stance again, has put him in direct confrontation again with those (state Government) who crowned him and the likelihood of him being ousted is quite glaring!

That both combatants are at dagger's drawn has been on for a while now (through out the life cycle of this administration). People have gotten in, to try to mend the fence between the 2, but the issues have refused to go away, always rearing its head at the slightest provocation, as it's been covered only by a thin layer, which gets removed over the slightest of touch. Just imagine the kind of development that could have been brought in to the state were the 2 people to have been united. While Sanusi is well known to be highly connected, influential and quite smart, all of those things that could have worked well to the advantage of the state. The Governor on the other side too as the state's administrator, is said to be quite smart too. So if one can do much, just imagine what 2 could have achieved? Far so much more we believe.

So last week while still awaiting the Supreme Court verdict, a supposed aide of the Governor was said to have spoken of what would happen after the verdict must have been pronounced, as was done today and in the favor of the state Government. The aide was said to have spoken about the plan to remove the so called troublesome Emir, who they believe is part of the reason the administration is not having it easy and not getting seen with the right eyes by all and sundry. Just so it can show that even if Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, The Emir of Kano has international connections and influence, that it is of little consequence when it comes to local politics in Kano.

So prior to this time the state government had done their very best to undermine the king, one of the ways they had done that was to try to whittle down his influence, by appointing more kings (4 more) over a domain he use to control all by himself alone before. When that didn't seem to have had the desired effect, now is this threat to remove him totally.

So now that no more court case is hanging on the head of the Government, would they now remove the Emir like they have threatened to do????

Would his attempted removal not cause chaos in Kano? What is it, that these 2 men have against each other that's so bad and terrible?

Any which way though, June 8, 2020 would be Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II's 6th anniversary coronation anniversary were he to still be the Emir of Kano.

WHY SO MUCH HATRED FOR FATIMA AJIMOBI?

Mennnnnn some people are so unforgiving and it's so crazy, totally totally crazy!!!!! ! The kind of war that this young, married lady of just 25 years old by name Fatima Ajimobi new Ganduje has been fighting is unpretentiously unbelievable!

Why so much hate (hatred), anger towards someone that is seemingly innocent just for the perceived sins of the father? Who is the current Executive Governor of Kano State, who just recently won a 2nd term as Governor though according to many in seeming controversial circumstances, is a wonder.

Being her father's daughter (child), one who loves her dad and family to bits, one who sees her father in another light (pure light), different & away from the public perception of him, which she might consider contrary, wrong and untruthful. Don't people think if she can or could and if she has the platform to use that can get across to a large number of people, she would defend his honour and that of her family?

And so in doing what she thinks is right, then a whole lot of anonymouses, people wearing masks so that they cannot be identified for who they really are, are falling on her like a tempest, sweeping in like a terrible hurricane, wanting to leave bad news behind, these people have been unsparing and totally vicious towards Fatima with their super scathing comments and terrible remarks. Mennnnnn. Na wa ooooo.

FATIMA GANDUJE AJIMOBI LAMBASTS HER DAD'S UNRELENTING CRITIQUES. SAYS SHE HAS THEIR TIME NOW

The gorgeous and very brilliant daughter of the newly re-elected Governor of Kano State, that's Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi in the euphoria of her dad's miraculous victory at the just concluded Kano State Gubernatorial Election 2019 is holding no punch as she descends in her dad's critics, who had had a field day, abusing and mocking her family prior to Dr. Umar Ganduje finally emerging victorious at the very controversial election.

Just like their so called enemies gloated believing that Ganduje was already a goner & would be defeated, his adorable daughter, a 1st class graduate of Atiku's private university -AUN, Yola. Who is married to the only son of the outgoing Governor of Oyo state-Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who had failed in his bid to become a Senator, has come in her dad's defense after all, lambasting all comers and taking them all to the cleaners. Heckling them all and chewing them on Twitter before spitting them out.

Hear her-

I am on my lunch break so have a bit of extra time, where are you guys? Some of the red guys here are at govt house collecting rice,” she said.

“I will respond to you as a single group so pls designate a representative. You guys are like zombies and I don’t have the time for you all. So pls get in line as I address your grievances.

“You see the issue is that when the results were inconclusive, you guys were so quick to insult us, we didn’t respond, even the ones playing both sides showed themselves, yanzu kuma murna ta koma ciki we can gloat too.

“You cannot insult someone’s mother and think you will not get a response, I have enough Data and when it finishes my Idris will add.

“You think it’s on Twitter you win election, our votes came from the villages because we are villagers. Dan kauye shine Gwamna.

“The main reason you lost is because Atiku refused to give you money this time around so unloyal that you cheated him during the presidential elections. Atiku bawan Allah I respect that man!

“During the PDP presidential campaign in Kano, you hired people from Niger and Chad to deceive Atiku all to collect his money. Toh wallahi better return his money. Atiku trusted you but you were too selfish. Now see yourselves.

“I ignored you during my wedding because my honeymoon was too sweet so no time for commentary.

“Painting the picture that no one in Kano loves Ganduje, Takai of the PRP who had almost a hundred thousand votes told all his supporters to vote for us not you. We played our part right and you’re angry.

“Yes we were with Kwankwaso until when he disrespected our late grandmother. Came for her burial in Ganduje and insulted us, that was when the line was drawn.”

GOVERNOR GANDUJE SEEM UNPERTURBED & IS EVEN BOISTEROUS, EVEN ON THE VERGE OF AN EMBARRASSING DEFEAT

Abdullah  Ganduje

Abba Yusuf

Seems like the current Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje whose 1st term is gradually coming to an end & who might not be getting a 2nd term, who incidentally is also the in-law, to the outgoing Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who was mercilessly defeated at the very recent elections in Oyo State (one only hopes that both wouldn't be united in disappointment), seem to know something that no one else knows or he might probably be hallucinating uncontrollably.

That's if his recent loud boast is anything to go by, as he seem so cocksure about uoturning the bad results and  gaining victory when the Gubernatorial election in Kano state might have come to a proper conclusion, even as he is on the verge of an embarrassing defeat after March 23, 2019 which is the day for the planned supplementary election to fix the inconclusive exercise. If his words are to come true, the Governor might need to add other titles or sobriquets to what he is already called, like seer or clairvoyant of extraordinary power!

As it were now, everything is somewhat dicey for him, as it can go left or right for the APC Gubernatorial candidate, who is playing 2nd fiddle for now to is his rival from the PDP- Abba Yusuf, who is leading him by at least a margin of 26,655, having gotten the majority of 1,014, 474 votes to Ganduje's 987, 819 votes, with 128,572 votes canceled.

It is because the margin of victory so far for the PDP man, is far less than the number of canceled votes that a supplementary election would now happen in those areas that their votes were voided. So by his boast that "the PDP will receive the shock of its life" in the supplementary election upcoming, the Governor must have a major magic she wants to perform that would dazzle all comers.

If that acyual boast by GANDUJE can be somewhat interpreted loosely, maybe he trying to say that he would get all of the votes at the supplementary election or what? From the results of the 44 LGAs already read, the shock in actual fact has been on GANDUJE. This is the same man that was able to orchestrate a total victory for the President at the 1st election, but couldn't do same for himself outrightly without having to go through a supplementary. Now how he wants to manufacture a special shock from somewhere all of a sudden beats one. Even if the PDP opponent were to get only 50000 of the 126000 plus votes, and GANDUJE gets all of the remaining 76572 votes which impossible, he would still be defeated, at least by the slimmest of margins.

So is the Governor who was caught receiving money before, from a contractor, long before the election ever happened, planning some other type of funny business???? Remember also, that over this same election issue his Deputy was arrested at the weekend.

From our calculations, except only a miracle not supported by the true God can occur, then only then, would GANDUJE retain his seat as the Governor. That bribery allegations, that smear that he had thought he had weathered, might have finally gotten to him and withered down his former massive and unflinching supports. If he is a man of honour, he should just begin to pack his bag. It is obvious that he is not as popular again as he thought he was and no more a well supported Governor like he was before.

He might just be joining his in-law in political retirement albeit temporarily for now.

PART 2 OF IDRIS AND FATIMA AJIMOBI'S HUMONGOUS WEDDING PARTY. WHEN IBADAN SHOOK TO ITS MARROW!

Idris Abolaji  and Fatima Baby

Abolaji, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje & Fatima

Couple's dance

To say so much again about this wedding would be to do an over kill of the extraordinary order. Good money, plenty of it obviously was expended no doubt and for that, what would one have expected when children of 2 state Governors were joined together, both of who are Chief executives of 2 massive states, Oyo & Kano!

Is it about the Caliber of those that converged at the venue? They were as expected the creme de la creme of the society, in Government, Business, Private and public sector, diplomatic corps etc. The president of the federation was well represented here by his wife, whilst also the VP and his wife, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo were in attendance too.

The Chairman of this Ibadan occasion, Chief Kola Daisi is none other than the father of Senator Abiola Ajimobi's son in law, "Kolapo Kola-Daisi", who is married to Abisola Kola Daisi, the first daughter and child of the state Governor, Senator Abiola AJIMOBI. .

With the caliber of those at the occasion, no expense whatsoever was spared at all to host them. It was a good return match by all standards, by the Ajimobi's after being hosted to a superlative Kano event by the Ganduje's in their own homestead, only last week.

Part of the highlight of this Ibadan occasion, was when Fatima's dad conferred on his son-in-law a new warrior title of Seriki Nyaki, which translates to Chief Warrior of Kano. Like we had said before, this wedding between the AJIMOBI'S of Ibadan and Ganduje's of Kano, is actually an example of bridge building across tribal lines.

The beautiful event took place at the Agodi Gardens in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Again, congratulations to the couple and we wish them a happy married life!

FATIMA WEDS IDRIS- THE ROLLERCOASTER WEDDING THAT GOT EVERYONE SALIVATING IN WONDER!

Oyo State 1st lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi & new daughter-Fatima Abiola-Ajimobi

Senator & Mrs Abiola Ajimobi and Fatima Ajimobi

Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi and his men, from Wakanda...

Idris's sisters and others

Mr and Mrs Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi

Beautiful bride getting set

The ancient city of Kano became the focal point for many hours yesterday, March 3, 2018. Nigeria, at least a sizeable chunk of the power that makes Nigeria tick and tock, gathered to celebrate 2 young lovers. The gathering of these high powered blend or mix, was because they were the children of 2 well known and well respected states Chief Executives, in the persons of Senator Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and his Kano counterpart, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

For Ganduje, it was his beautiful, very stylish, very brilliant daughter, by name Fatima "Baby" Abdullahi Ganduje, a First Class graduate of International and Comparative Politics, from the renowned American University of Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa. For AJIMOBI, it was his son, in fact only son, an equally brilliant and handsome, but quiet dude, by name Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi.

For you to better understand what we meant by Nigeria gathered in Kano temporarily, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR was in attendance, the Vice President of Nigeria was well represented by his very nice wife, Mrs. Dolapo "Dolly" Osinbajo, whose daughter's wedding is forthcoming this month also. The 3rd in the hierarchy of power, who would be a most prominent feature come 2019 presidential election, Senator/Dr Bukola Saraki, the Senate President was in attendance. 22 Governors out of 36 state Governors were in attendance! Likes of Nasir El Rufai-Kaduna, Akinwunmi Ambode-Lagos, Ibikunle Amosun-Ogun, Rochas Okorocha-Imo, Yahaya Bello-Kogi, Rauf Aregbesola-Osun, Abdul'Aziz Abubakar Yari-Zamfara, Badaru Abubakar-Jigawa etc.  Those who couldn't attend sent representatives. More than 11 Ministers attended, not less than 10 Royal fathers from across Nigeria were in attendance, one of those seen was the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, the Iku Baba Yeye himself and yet there were captains of industries likes of Aliko Dangote, BUA Grp's AbdulSamad Isiyaku Rabiu etc, top members of the diplomatic corps and so many more high powered guests from everywhere.

The wedding itself was packed full with much drama. It's not everyday that the highly respected and revered monarch, HRM, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II would conduct a wedding ceremony by himself, ably assisted by the Chief Iman, Prof Sani Zarahaddeen! While the groom was represented by none other than the President himself, who gave out the ₦50000 dowry, the bride was ably represented by the APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who received the dowry!

It was a beautiful occasion in all ramifications, a blend of the very colourful traditions and cultures of the South (Yoruba) and the North. At a point in the whole colourful and rich event, Abolaji the groom temporarily became the King of Wakanda, when he sat on a throne like chair and his friends around him playfully did the sign of the Wakandan elite soldiers.

MM EXCLUSIVE- BABY (FATIMA) WEDS IDRIS GETS MARCH 3 & 10, 2018 DATES!

Lovebirds- Idris and Fatima

Fatima "baby" Abdullahi Ganduje

When 2 elephants unite, you all already know what to expect! These elephants here are the families of the the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi of Ibadan and that of Kano State, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Ganduje.

Come Saturday, March 3, 2018 by noon in the beautiful city of Kano, 2 extraordinary lovebirds, who we are so into each other, that it's bordering on something else in the persons of 'Fatima "Baby" Abdullahi Ganduje' and 'Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi', the first son of Oyo State who is the younger brother of the super stylish Abisola Kola-Daisi, and in fact the only son of the Oyo State Governor, would seal their love for each other at a Nikkai ceremony (Wedding Fatiha) that would take place at the Central Mosque, located inside the Emir of Kano's Palace ground.

If the events that have taken place already are feelers towards what to expect, then though the Kano event is just the small part of the ceremonies, we expect the grounds to shake with the sheer numbers of heavyweights that are expected to converge in Kano come through date of the event.

We can tell you exclusively that all things are been done to make it a beautiful, very secured, top notch of a traditional occasion, that would highlight our beautiful but diverse cultural heritages to the height. What else can one expect, when the honourary father of the bride and even the occasion is the Emir of Kano himself, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II.

We can reveal to you without any doubt, that the AJIMOBIs and select friends would just be popping back into Nigeria from South Africa, where Idris's "bachelor's eve" was held.

Much as the Kano gathering is the event it is still the periphery, as the major party from the feelers we have gotten is going to be on the next Saturday following March 3, which is Saturday, March 10, 2018 at a venue not yet released but that would be most definitely in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital., where the Ajimobis, from all indications would lay out the red carpet without restrictions.

So the honey coated month of March 2018, where humongous weddings would take place is here and the wedding to open the floodgate is that of Idris and Fatima and we are already very excited. Especially as we would enjoy all the fun of this particular one.

Feelers we have gotten as per one of the other big upcoming wedding, that's between Jamil Abubakar and Fatima Dangote though is that it might be shut out from the press/media. So let's at least enjoy this more open one.

AJIMOBI WEDS GANDUJE GRADUALLY GETTING NEARER! IT WOULD BE HUMONGOUS BY ALL STANDARDS!

Emir of Kano Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II
Abisola Kola Daisi & Fati Ganduje

If the events preceding the main thing, that is the main event is anything to go by, this upcoming solemnization of holy matrimony, between the first and only son of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Abolaji Idris AJIMOBI and one of the sumptuously beautiful daughters of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Fatima Ganduje is anything to go by, then the main deal is going to be super awesome by all standards.

Just imagine how the very recent event, which is "the Lefe", an Hausa custom and tradition where the groom's family presents beautiful and awesome gifts of all kinds, be it veils of all types and colours, laces of all types, textures and colours, wrappers of all imaginable types, jewelries like diamonds, rubies, amethyst, sapphires, gold, silver, platinum, perfumes, cosmetics, shampoos, conditioners etc to the bride. The groom's family would normally provide what they can afford as presents to the bride, and it would be all those things that she uses or can use.

The caliber of the gifts are usually determined by the wherewithal of the groom's family, so the richer they are the more valuable the kinds of gifts they would present.

The gifts presented by the Ajimobis were one of a kind from all indications, though we didn't know what the content of the "27 LV (Louis Vuitton monogram travel bags" were, by virtue of the value of those bags alone, what they must contain must be out of here by all standards, especially also considering who the family of the bride are- the Gandujes. The Ajimobis would have gone the extra mile to present their only son in the best way possible.

One of the things these gifts says about the groom and his family, is to let the bride and her family know that the groom is capable of taking care and fending for his bride.

How it normally goes is that, the gifts would be accompanied by the aunties, the sisters, the friends of the mom, the dad's sisters of the groom and even some of the friends of the family. Normally the mother might not need to necessarily go along, but in this case she did. Maybe because she's a first lady and also because of the caliber of those accompanying them also.

In all it was a very colourful event, as the ladies were all looking super gorgeous in their lace and high grade Ankara outfits. It was a gorgeous display of culture and tradition too, as the groom's family were accompanied by the traditional dancers from Oyo, whilst they were also welcomed by the troops from Kano.

The groom's family were received by His Excellency, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, whose humongous library is on display in some of the pictures. The eldest child and daughter of Senator Abiola AJIMOBI, in the person of very stylish and beautiful "Abisola Kola Daisi", accompanied her mom and other family members to the culturally stimulating event, that was rich in traditions of the North. Some other top guests that were at the occasion were 2 former Governors, Niyi Adebayo of Ekiti and Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo.

Both Fatima and Idris have been an item for a bit, before both let it known not too long ago. Their introduction was done on November of 2017, while their upcoming wedding should be a spring 2018 humongous wedding with many speculating a date in March of 2018 at most for a stupendous Wedding in Kano or Abuja. #faab2018 loading!!!

AJIMOBI AND GANDUJE HUMONGOUS INTRODUCTION IN KANO!

Idris flanked by 4 Governors

Idris & Baby

If the introduction is an indication of what is coming, then we should expect a mother of all weddings either late this year of the first quarter of next year, that is 2018.

Yesterday, Friday, November 10, 2017 was the introduction ceremony between the daughter, Fatima Baby Ganduje of the current Governor of the good state of Kano, Umar Ganduje and her beau, Idris Abolaji Ajimobi the only son of the Governor of Oyo State, in the person of his excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and his stupendously gorgeous wife, Madam Florence AJIMOBI.

To show that it wasn't just an anyhow ceremony, at least not less than 11 Governors and other special guests gathered to be a part of the ceremony. Some of the Governors seen, who came to give support to one of their own were Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos, AbdulFatai Ahmed of Kwara, AbdulAziz Yari of Zamfara, Kashim Shettima of Borno, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa, Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina, Senator Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Alhaji Abubakar Baguda of Kebbi.

The ceremony held at the Palace of the "Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Muhammadu Sanusi II", who consented to the proposal on behalf of the father of the gorgeous bride to be. The Emir in his statement said, "the Union is a way of cementing relationships as well as destroying stereotypes between the South and Northern Nigeria".

Responding on behalf of the Groom's father, Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State thanked the Emir and his fellow Govsrnor, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, the father of the lovely bride for approving the proposal.

"Abolaji Idris AJIMOBI", had earlier in September of 2017, gushingingly revealed his heartthrob on the social media, when he celebrated his love for her.

More pictures after the break.
