It's not just about the dress though, for you can wear a deliciously beautiful and well sown dress/outfit that's totally badass and bring same down, many notch down. But it's about the attitude, the poise, the smile all of those many things all combining together gracefully and conveying the full effect!!! Rita's fairy godmother must be awesomely exquisite maybe even more than that of Cinderella's.

Rita simply put, defines sophistication!!! Period!!!

Ooooo my gawd!!!! Style went on the overload at this year's Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA 2018 to be short. It is the annual gathering to award those in the Movie and TV industry for an excellent year. This particular edition was the 6th edition in the series. And the venue of the revelry, fun and fashion showcase was none other than, the expansive Hall of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

From all indications, it was obvious that the stars and celebrities and others had been looking forward to the day of the event. It was an opportunity and a day that many could show how advanced their style game has become. Wow wow wow, come and see boobs (breasts)  & cleavages hmmmmm. From the about to sag, to the intermediate sagging, to the attention seeking, still prim and proper, to the outrightly outrageous. The men had things to ogle out, which would have caused a lot of mind to race Formular 1.

It was a colourful gathering no doubt, with many having a great understanding what the occasion entails. It is obvious now that this is the reign of stylists. It is now their time and contribution. It is no more just about the designers or the make up artists alone, the very very important Stylist has come in as the 'Bridge'  He or she coordinates the outlook, or better still the end product. The likes of Toyin Lawani of Tiannah's Styling, Yolanda Okereke, Jerry Ogbodo of Swanky Jerry, Tolulope Bally, Moashystyling, Efetommy and more, are as much stars like the stars they style or dress up.

As per who we count as our best dressed, most outstanding, most stylish of the night? The obvious contenders are Dakore Akande, Peggy Ovire, Rita Dominic, Toyin Lawani, Omawumi, Waje, Osas Ajibade, Fathia Balogun, Nancy Isime, Lillian Afegbai, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and so many others. As the men, for us Falz was the baddest guy of the night. The fit was perfect, the styling was on point, the outfit was indigenous and his carriage was badass.

OUR DAZZLING "TUESDAY TONIC" IS NONE OTHER THAN TIWA SAVAGE- NIGERIA'S CALL OBEY!

We doubt if there's any female Nigerian entertainer right now, currently on or at her level! She is the undoubted current queen of music and entertainment in Nigeria and she knows it and she's not in anyway willing to abdicate the throne nor allow anyone near her crown!

It has been an exciting and exhilirating season in the last many months on all counts for the beautiful crooner. She is most probably, the leading light currently on her label as all others are just not delivering that much right now and she's also the current numero uno female artiste bar none, so it's like everything she touches turns to gold, mideas seem to hAve found an abode at hers.

Mommy Jam-Jam, she's a mom of one, is the current champion in whom we are well pleased. She's repping Nigeria on all counts, especially with grace and oomph and we are proud of it. Her style game of recent, has been totally off the hook, she's popping and killing it and we really like. Either she personally advanced her game many notches up, or her stylist changed and brought about the A-factor, any which way, we commend and say game on!

At 38, just 2 years short of clocking 40, she just seem much younger than her age and is getting more prettier by the day. Whatever the secret is, wherever that fountain of eternal youthfulness is flowing from or located, she just has to point us the way too.

Kudos to our delightsome Tuesday Tonic!

ANDREA IYAMAH'S SWIMSUIT SHOWCASE AT THE ARISE FASHION WEEK 2018

It's no new news that the revived, the newly ressurected Arise Fashion Week series is back and it was with a massive bang! The 2018 edition truly lived up to expectations and we were so glad to have experienced the 3 daY's of indescribable fUn, incredible fashion and style and unbridled excitement.

The designers came in great numbers and the best way to describe it all is that they all came, saw and conquered. For many of them just showing on this platform for the first time, this was the launch they had wanted and things can never be the same again, for those perennial favourite it was an opportunity to showcase their latest creations and cement their reputations as some of the best and most creative in the country.

One of the highlights of the 1st day was the sexy swimwear showcase by the incredibly talented Nigerian-Canadian designer Andrea Iyamah. The models showed off the collection with much oomph and the crowd apparently enjoyed it.

OUR FRIDAY DELICIOUS BANGER IS NONE OTHER THAN THE YOUNG, SEXY & STYLISH..... MOCHEDDAH

Though we haven't seen the singer/entertainer for a bit now, we are happy to know that she's still at least representing and doing it very well on the style stake.

A few years back, the talented young lady was one of the top 10 best female musicians in the country and so much was expected, only for her to just go very quiet and off radar.

Now when we see the delightsome darling, she's always looking smashing and stylish and repping well with her nice stature and wearing great styles too with Oomph and much aplomb. There's just something so effortlessly chic about her style that's so good to the eyes!

GENDERLESS? Neither male nor female, that's what it connotes immediately in the mind, no restrictions, no law, one can be on either side of the divide as one deem fit or okay, or is it like saying haemaphrodite both genders (organs) on one same one person? Can that even really be?

We ask that basically because there's nothing like being GENDERLESS! But in Fashion, genderless is gradually like the new rave or fad. Male wearing feminine outfits, garbs, ensemble without any fear of  being tagged.

Yes we quite understand that the female/feminine can afford to be genderless style wise, they can afford to be very "FLUID" which is what we know is referred to as "androgynous"!

But now also, it seems like that supposed fluidity has creeped into men fashion/style too, and some men have begun to greatly embrace it and are showing off their feminine side with much aplomb, displaying some Oomph factor or so it seem!

Yes we know that its not a totally new thing, we know many have always explored that other side of themselves openly, even though they did that such were immediately tagged and not seen as being straight. The GENDERLESS style we are talking about here is not just wearing those pants with skirts attached, we are talking about wearing female blouses, the skirts and female shoes etc, we mean the  whole 9 yards!

Someone like Denrele Edun that has consistently for a few years now done it, was seen as weird and maybe a cross between the 2 worlds. But some also too have thought that his various ensembles/garbs were part of act, a deliberate package of a personae he is projecting, which he is making money and livelihood from and that maybe he cannot be pigeonholed into a particular box because of that.

One person that has defied definition is Bobrisky, he without minding whose ox is gored, has been very open about his preference, he live, breathes, exhales, walk and sleeps it. He dresses very feminine with glee and much aplomb, he has since totally submitted to that side of himself. 

So would more men embrace the "genderless" style? Are we going to see more of our so called macho, more heterosexual men take up this genderless thing? 

STARS SHINE DOWN AS TIWA SAVAGE & INI EDO KILL IN THEIR OUTFITS

Both Tiwa Savage and Ini Edo are super stars that have remained relevant over the years. There "star sparkle" seem to continually add more luster and gleam by the years. Not only are both "slayers in this outfit, they did their outfits mad justice.

Both also in these pictures have their "style shoes" well put on. Both gorgeouly defining "glam, oomph and confidence all in one. Tiwa's picture was taken in far away Texas in the US where she dazzled to no end at the Afrimma event. Tiwa is the ultimate blond bombshell in her all black everything with the sexy open back and she totally killed it. Even Marilyn Monroe has stood up and is clapping in admiration.

While our delicious looking "Ini Edo", Special Adviser to the Governor of her State, was at a wedding event in this her haute couture gold outfit that must have set her apart with much aplomb from all others. We just hoped that she didn't upstage the celebrant herself though.

Truly and truly, their stars are shining down on all.
