AARE RASAK AKANNI OKOYA'S SLAMDUNK 78TH BIRTHDAY PARTY.

His annual birthday celebration has become an annual/yearly to be at shindig that those worth their salt must make sure to attend.

So as soon as January of every new year comes, those that are in the count prepares themselves to attend what they have termed an "annual ritual".

This year's edition was to celebrate the 78th year on earth of the great industrialist who have made a great name for himself and has become an icon of from the grass to grace narrative.

This edition was an "all white everything shindig". If not that the guests wore whites too, one would have thought that the party was an exchange of marital vows between Alhaji Razak Akanni Okoya and his stylish wife, Folashade Okoya, better known as Shade. One of Shade's gorgeous outfit was like a beautiful wedding dress and she herself was looking like a gorgeous Cinderella, who knows very well she's the heartbeat of the man of the moment, Chief Okoya.

As expected the party had in attendance the people that makes parties count in Lagos, likes of Otunba Subomi Balogun and His wife, the Erelu, also property czar Olu Okeowo and wife, HRM Oba Dr Adedapo Tejuosho Karunwi III and his 3 wives, former Governor of Delta State who was later convicted, James Ibori, retired Major Gen Ike Nwachukwu, Prince Samuel Adedoyin, Iyalaje Toyin Kolade, Joko Oni, Lanre Tejuosho, APC Women leader Kemi Nelson, Aremo Segun Oniru, Chief and Chief Mrs Mike Inegbese, Demola Summer and so many wonderful others.

As was expected, it was colourful, it was fun and it was classy, with many top personalities and celebrities in attendance at the 40th birthday party of the gorgeous wife of the billionaire industrialist, Aare Razak Akanni Okoya, in the person of Chief (Dr.) Mrs Folashade Noimat Okoya.

The party itself held at the hall inside the expansive estate of the founder of Eleganza Group of Companies, known as the Oluwa-ni-Shola (God does Wealth) Estate. From the looks of things, no stone was left unturned in the hosting of a superb & classy shindig.

Dress code must have been specifically asked by the celebrant to be sharp, for all the guests came looking totally on point, many of the men tried their best at looking debonair like James a Bond of the 007 fame, while the ladies too were gorgeous, all in the bid to wish the lady of the day a happy birthday and felicitate with her and her family in a beautiful and convivial atmosphere.

The birthday cake was a gigantic one, that type one might have mistook for a wedding cake and the gathering for a wedding feast. It was very obvious that good money was well spent to host those who attended the event, which was on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

A few of the guests we saw were the likes of the wife of his royal majesty, the Ooni of Ife, who came along with her cousin Jennifer Obayuwana, the Executive Director at Polo Ltd, others we saw were Chief and Chief Mrs. Mike Inegbese of Ineh Mic fame, billionaire industrialist himself and good buddy of RAO, Chief Samuel Adedoyin and his gorgeous age defying wife, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Lanre Tejuosho, former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniels, Justice George Adesola Oguntade CFR and wife, Modupe, Olu Okeowo of the Palacio De Okeowo fame, Stella Chinyelu Okoli of Emzor, Oba Adedapo Tejuosho, his royal majesty, OSILE OKE-ONA, the other royal father was Oba Alaiyeluwa, Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Elegushi of Ikateland, Chief Ajibola Ogunsola, former chairman of Punch newspaper, Chief Mrs Abah Folawiyo & Princess Yewande Onilere, Kemi Nelson, former speaker of the Ogun state house of assembly, Hon Titi Oseni, Sonny & Betty Irabor of Inspiration FM & Genevieve Magazine fame, boardroom guru Chief Mrs. Nike Akande, Skymit Motors Chairman/CEO fineboy Tayo Ayeni & his good friend Dapo Abiodun, chairman of Heyden Petroleum, RAO's ever gorgeous daughter Biola Okoya, Nollywood's powerhouse Zik Zulu-Okafor and so many others.

Madam Kofo, Abiola Atanda was in her element, but without her skyscraper of a headgear, so also was MC/comedian, ever young Tunde Adewale aka Tee A, on the bandstand was the original baddo himself Olamide.

How time flies so quickly? Was it not only a few years ago that this gorgeous fashionista, Folasade, then still a young lady got married to billionaire industrialist and founder of Eleganza Group of Companies, the Aare of Lagos, Chief Razak Akanni Okoya?

Now after close to 2 decades of blissful coexistence and well requited love, that marriage seems to be getting better and better by the day, with Sade now a Chief many times over and an honorary Doctor of Science degree holder, from the European-American University, having the best of time and now a mother of 4, Olamide, Oyinlola, Subomi & Wahab.

Fast forward to today, Chief Mrs Folasade Akanni Okoya, the dazzling Managing director of Eleganza Industrial City, the manufacturers of award winning plastic utensils and products like plastic chairs, luggages, cooling boxes, diapers, sanitary products etc would be celebrating her 40th birthday come tomorrow, Sunday, April 30, 2017 with a party.

It's not everyday that one clocks 40 you know? So when one does, it is well celebrated as it is acknowledged to be the proper age of maturity.
