Men some are so blessed with beauty that even age just helps in making them look better. Such seem to be the enduring beauty of the birthday celebrant, Anita Iseghohi. She sent out just about 25 invites in all to close friends and most of them came to celebrate with the very gorgeous and kind-hearted lady about 2 weeks ago. 

In attendance were 5 former beauty queens all on the stable of Silverbird, the organisers of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant, they were Chief Ms. Nike Asabi Osinowo-Soleye-MBGN 1991, Chinenye Ochuba-Akinlade-MBGN 2002, Celia Omotu Bissong-MBGN 2003, Munachi Gail Abigail Abii-MBGN 2007 & birthday girl herself who is MBGN 2004. 

Apart from the queens there were other good friends of the birthday girl the likes of Bibi Adeuja, Lolade Majekodunmi of House of Dorcas, Anino Isewere, Viviare Oforiokuma, Toyin Bizzario, Tayo Omodia, Patricia Imafidon, Modupe Chidi & few others. Anita's husband Tom Iseghohi was also around to celebrate his wife.

 Mma Bakassi, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, former SA to the President on National Assembly matters clocked 68 a few days ago. And to make it a party was held at the Sky Lounge, Eko Hotel, Victoria Island. Prior to this post we had informed our readers about the party and what we thought would be how it would go down. Now that the party has held, we have the pictures of all that went down at the party for your viewing pleasure. 

The party had all the razzmatazz expected at high-octane parties like this. Good music, great guest-list,  enough to drink and munch and so much more. The birthday lady as usual came out looking gorgeous. Loads of her friends and associates were in attendance. They had come to party with her and wish her the best. A few older than her, some in her age bracket and most younger than her. Madam herself came looking ravishing in her black outfit.

The sheer number of those who came and admixture sort of, shows the kind of person that Florence Ita-Giwa is, a good mixer and a good friend to both old and young. This are annual birthday celebration has become a must be at party now, that everyone always looks forward to. 

Some of our best dressed guests of the night were the likes of Ndidi Obioha in her Leopard print dress, gorgeous actress Monalisa Chinda surely did razzle dazzled, Rita Dominic's hair was gorgeous we loved the wild streak and her dress was cool. Mrs. Asemota did quite well for her age. For the men, Dele Dosunmu looked extraordinarily dapper for a 50 year old man. As is usual with the Publisher of Encomium, Mr. Kunle Bakare he represented very well in his double breasted suit, John Obayuwana would have looked altogether smashing except that the jacket should have been fitted a bit more, we totally love AVM Ombu's sense of style, it's just that belly. Bayo Abdul has the idea, he has a style that is all his own. Lanre Ogunlesi was also cool, he sure is one handsome man.

ADORABLE FLORENCE ITA-GIWA SET FOR A FUNTASTIC 68TH BIRTHDAY ON WEDNESDAY.

The clock is already ticking and tocking towards the D-day, which is Wednesday, February 19, 2014. On the date is the birthday of the highly connected former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who also at one time had the ears of the Commander-in-Chief, the then President Olusegun Obasanjo. She was a Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters at a point.


The Kilburn Polytechnic trained nurse-Mma Bakassi, like many have come to know her would clock the grand age of 68. 68? Wow!!! Are you serious, she's 68? Yes she is and very gorgeously so too. So naysayers eat your hearts out. It's only just 6 days away to the party that is being planned to mark her 'born' day. So the countdown has begun in earnest. An e-mail message has already gone out to friends and family members and more to keep the date free, as just like it was done last year when she clocked 67, when there was a gathering to serenade and celebrate her; another grand dinner is in the offing for this year also. 

The venue of the planned first class dinner just like last year's is the Eko Hotel on Ademola Adetokunbo Street, Victoria Island and its most likely going to be at the Sky Lounge again, from about 8pm. The view from the topmost floor of this Eko Hotel place is stupendously beautiful, and its one venue we adore for those intimate parties of the high society. We can bet it would again be a gathering of the who-is-who in the upper society. Who are always on the lookout for special events, parties, gatherings where they can wear some of their diamonds and other precious stones to, while playing dress-up. 

So well wishers and others would gather to serenade and celebrate their own personal person, in the one we have specially tagged ''the Dame''. Her parties are always the events to be at, appearances by some of Nigeria's current stars the likes of Tuface, Kcee, Iyanya, D banj and more are always expected. So its always a mix of fun, fashion and loads more.
