TRAGIC LOSS AS DAPO ABIODUN LOSES 1ST SON GBEMIGA

It is not the very best of times as we speak at the home of debonair fine boy owner of Heyden Oil, Dapo Abiodun as he has lost his first son Olugbemiga Abiodun to death.

If it were money that the grim reaper demanded for, we are sure Mr. Abiodun would have gone out of his way to give it and would have even doubled what was demanded for. If it was influence that was needed, the man of the people would have effortlessly negotiated himself out of the quagmire without a whimper, but alas! Man's last and greatest of enemies-Death, negotiates with no one, neither does he accept money or anything else for that matter. The ugliest and most despicable of fiends, comes, sneaks in and just does what it likes not minding her after effect and then onto the next!

The very untimely, very shocking, very sad and irreparable and painful loss occurred yesterday.

DJ Olu as he was fondly called was a budding Deejay, who is a 2016 graduate of the University of Essex. The well loved, tall and handsome dude was apparently found dead in his own car.

Olugbemiga who was in his 20s and said to be the pride of his parents, was being gradually groomed to take over his dad's vast empire, but alas! That dream has now being cut short, as he has since passed on unfortunately.

Olugbemiga was a very good friend of ace musician Davido, meaning the young musician also in his 20s has lost 2 good friends in a matter of few days apart. To even show the extent of the hurt and loss, Davido reacted in shock on Instagram. Both were apparently close because of their love for music and also because their 2 multimillionaire dads were good friends.

As at the time of the sad passing, the father of the deceased was on a flight enroute Lagos, Nigeria from Dubai, the UAE. So just imagine the shock he would have as par the sad news of his son's demise!!!

We are very saddened by the terrible loss and pray the Almighty would give the parent, family members and friends of the deceased the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss!

After the untimely passage of this young man after a drink binge. There seem to be some form of conspiracy theory going on. 

Dude was supposedly with music star Davido his friend and others sometime before he died, but no one is yet to or want to admit that something must have gone very horribly wrong suddenly that led to his death. 

So in this interview conducted by Stella Dimoko-Korkus, the late dude's angry lover- Caroline made her mind known about the whole issue. 

Hello Stella. I really can’t believe that I am talking about Tagbo like this because he was not one who liked publicity.Firstly I would like to address this whole razzmatazz about David killing Tagbo and that I said so. I never said so but yes, I did call out Davido to know the whereabouts of Tagbo.But I never said he killed him. I never used that word, ‘Killed Tagbo.’

The last time I heard from Tagbo was on Monday when I just got back from MFM Church praise and worship which took about 7-8 hours. It was around past 8pm to ask me where I was. I had invited him for the programme but he didn’t show up. He called and asked where I was and when I said I was home, he said he was coming over.I was tired but didn’t want to sleep off because if Tagbo comes he would ring the bell. So I went upstairs to watch CNN to keep myself awake until he comes and for some reason I slept off and woke up by past 1am or 2am. As you know the normal ritual was to call your friends the next day when they are celebrating their birthday.

I felt bad that I had not called Tagbo because Tuesday was his birthday. I tried calling him but his number was switched off but I thought it was the network and continued trying but it was switched off and I concluded that maybe his battery was down.

OH WHAT A SAD DAY FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!! KEFEE IS GONE

After what seem like a gallant battle with man's most fearsome enemy-Death, one of Nigeria's music icon in the person of Kefee gave up the Ghost today, Friday, June 13, 2013. The entire Nigerian entertainment scene was again plunged into the sad abyss of gloom & anguish and with the sudden demise of this wonderful soul.

Just like many are already declaring it, we also say it too, that it is a sad, dark Friday indeed. The gorgeous lady, who only last week Friday had gone into coma after some health complications never woke up from the coma after all, only for her to give up the battle in the early hours of this morning.

Nigeria and Nigerians have lost another entertainment icon to the terrible hands of death at her peak. She only just released a new album into the market a few weeks before her coma. Kefee was said to have embarked on a 14 hours flight from Lagos to Chigago, USA a forthnight ago, before collapsing and entering into a coma. A medical practitioner had said then that, the award winning singer who was then pregnant, had suffered from Pre-Eclampsia, a medical term for pregnancy induced high-blood pressure.

 
Doctors in America were said to have tried their best to revive her though her chances of revival was said to have been slim, but sadly after about a week or more in coma, she finally gave up the ghost. Curiously & most likely coincidentally she gave up the ghost on Friday the 13th, a day many in the western world considers an unlucky day.

May her gentle soul REST IN PEACE. We pray that the good Lord, would give her shocked husband, her family members, friends and fans the strength and fortitude to bear the sad loss.

 

ADIEU AMAKA IGWE!!!

You all already know that one of Nigeria's best in the Nollywood industry has passed on. It was due to complications arising from an Asthma attack. She was age 51 years old and had died in Enugu, the Eastern part of Nigeria, where she had gone with her husband, on Monday, April 28, 2014. 

Encomiums from far and wide (most especially from the Nollywood world, which she bestrode like a colossus) have been pouring in all day since her untimely death was confirmed. The Nollywood's outpouring of grief has been unprecedented. Madam was the brain behind such great television series like Fuji House of Commotion and CheckMate and Rattlesnake was one of her films.  

She owns Top Radio FM & BoBTV expo amongst her several business ventures.

She's survived by her mom, her husband of 21 years and 3 kids. May the soul of the dearly departed rest in peace!!!

SAD SAD LOSS FOR VIVIENNE CHIOLOJI ON THE LOSS OF HER SISTER

 It was a sad one at the weekend, when top socialite Vivian Chioloji of Pride & Joy loss her gorgeous younger sister to death. The super gorgeous Jennifer Chioloji, who everyone had thought had recovered from her battle with diabetes was at a party in Nkwerre, Imo State where as usual she was looking super cool and stylish, only for her to have gotten up from her table and suddenly started bleeding from her nose & mouth and has she was been rushed to the hospital in a stand-by ambulance stationed at the event gave up the ghost.

Jennifer who is so very well loved by all was in her early 40s when she gave up the ghost. She's the only sibling of the equally very stylish elder sister Vivian who owns the top lifestyle place Pride & Joy in Lekki, Lagos. Many of those that were at the well attended and well organized final burial rites of the father of their friend, where the sad occurrence happened, were shocked to their bones and are said to still be in shock in state of utter disbelief. It all happened so lighting fast and before help could come her way she was gone.

According to what we hear, she would be buried next weekend in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She's survived by her only sister Vivian. May her very gentle soul rest in peace.
