JAMIL & FATIMA ABUBAKAR'S WORLD CLASS RECEPTION BECKONS. ULTIMATE VIP PAMPERING AWAITS GUESTS. HAVE YOU GOTTEN YOUR IV YET?

Contrary to the information about all over the media, the expected world class, mother of all, 7 stars, 1st class reception is set for Friday, March 23, 2018 and not Saturday March 24, 2018 as have been widely reported all over the media.

The venue, Eko Hotel Victoria Island Lagos, remains the same. Your clout as big boy or girl or as a world class social climber would be tested if or if you have not received your invitation card to attend.

Those who would need to go a borrowing just to stand out to be counted, would have gone about it already with gusto. Many of the ladies would dress to kill, to entice and to capture and this is so because the value of money that would converge in and on that one spot on that day would be staggering to say the least. Imagine billionaires multimillionaires, millionaires in all shades and hues. So it would be about selling commodities/wares, so the more standout, the more well packaged some would be the best for them.  That venue would have in great numbers some of the most stunningly beautiful, gorgeously stylish, outstandingly elegant ladies of all heights, complexion and shapes, mien etc. Some of these ladies would have great jobs, some nothing exceptional, while some would be working on that day, just by being beautiful and on point. Who says attending parties and looking stunning is not a job?

If the information reaching us or we have gotten is anything to go by, the seemingly very valuable IV card has become like a valuable packet of platinum encrusted with diamonds that is not that easy to come by. It has become a must have for those who love to rub shoulders with the creme de la creme of the society, those who wants to be counted, those who wants to be seen to belong.

The expected humongous party is only about 72 hours away,...... So have you gotten or received your Invitation Card yet?

Judging by what as occurred in all the previous events already, this is going to be the "icing" on the cake, the party to seal and end the whole many days of events that has spanned, Kano, Abuja and has come to climax fittingly in Lagos, the nerve centre of Nigeria.

What is been planned to top it all? Absolutely everything! Security would be out of here, it would be like the Mossad guarding the event. Entertainment would be 8-stars in all ramifications. Knowing Aliko to be a sucker for King Sunny Ade, who is known for the special anthem (tim bati ri eniyam ....Alhaji ALIKOooo Dangoteeee!)- "Whenever I see my personal person". And if the couple would be indulged, which they should, since it is actually their day, it would be a mini concert of some sort as all would fall over themselves to perform even for FREE! First because it's Aliko, second of all because, Jamil knows most of them one-on-one. Food, that one is a given. Drinks- strictly no alcohol. Go home package? Even that one should be outstanding and mouthwatering!!!!! Guestslist......a mini political rally mixed with all others.

Make sure to get your IV!!!! The coded card, which has a monogram that can pop up information once scanned about the card and owner reads-

"Alhaji Aliko Dangote GCON and family
Cordially request the pleasure of your company at a dinner reception to celebrate the marriage of their daughter Fatima Aliko Dangote
to
Jamil MD Abubakar
on Friday 23rd March 2018
At Eko Hotel Convention Centre
1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street
Victoria Island, Lagos.

Guests arrive at 6:30pm and are seated by 7:30pm.

Dress Code- Full National Dress.
This card admits one only.

IF LOOKS COULD KILL! WHAT WAS TURAI ANGRY ABOUT?

Most often times body language or looks on the face can translate or transmit whatever is going on in the inner recess of one's heart without one saying any word whatsoever. Looks they say, says a million things.

So just imagine the face of the former first lady above, in the person of Hajia Turai YarAdua, the wife of the late President Umaru YarAdua. Just looking at the face as she sat with Justice Fati Abdulsalam and Dame Patience Jonathan other former first ladies, just evokes in the mind a very distorted mask. It's like she's disgusted with something or somethings and she can't just wait for it to finish so she can just get out.  Why the look? what's going on?

Hope all is alright though?

FRANCIS & HELEN INEGBENIKI'S GRAND LAGOS WEDDING

HELEN & FRANCIS INEGBENIKI
HELEN INEGBENIKI NEE OMORODION
BRIDE & GROOM'S CHARIOT BENZ SL63 AMG
Finally after several years of being lovers, mercurial businessman & politician, who owns Ine Oil Limited Mr. Francis Inegbeniki did the right thing when he walked his lover of several years & mother of his son Helen down the aisle to seal their love journey, at a beautiful well attended ceremony in Lagos earlier this month of May 2014.

This would be Francis 2nd missionary journey into matrimony after the breakdown of his first. So after the initial fear, that kept him away from doing the deed, he finally took the plunge very happily last weekend Saturday, May 3, 2014 to be more precise.

The venue of the reception was the Ruby Gardens, along the spanking new Lekki-Epe expressway, just next to the Oando Mega Filling Station. The traditional wedding was at the gorgeous bride's parents home in Ikoyi.

Helen Inegbeniki nee Omorodion is one of the daughters of Dr. & Barrister Mrs. Henry Omorodion, who is the Odunonaba of Benin Kingdom. Helen's sister is the gorgeous Lisa Omorodion who is gradually establishing herself in a powerful way in the Nollywood industry.

The wedding according to the snippets we got from those who attended, is most definitely going to be counted amongst the top 10 weddings of the year in Nigeria, if not the 1st 5. This is because it had all the over abundance of the trappings that follows celebrity weddings and those of the very wealthy.

World famous gospel-juju artiste Yinka Ayefele, was on the bandstand and he really gave a good account of himself, he dished out the best of songs from his repertoire all through. 3 of the other top music stars that performed were the likes of Flavour Nabania, Yemi Alade and Orishefemi.  The wedding MCs were 3 of the best in the business, the likes of Gordons, Julius 'the genius' Agwu & the incomparable comedic genius I go Dye.

One of the major highlights of the wedding party apart from the bride & groom arriving the venue of their wedding reception in a white open Mercedes Benz SL63 AMG convertible roadster with a v8 bi-turbo engine (starting price is $145,800), were the incredible & unbeatable wedding souvenirs the guests took home.

Forget the gold plated iPhones a few of the guests at the Presidential wedding that recently happened in Abuja got. The guests at Helen & Francis Inegbeniki's wedding reception took home, from apple iPads, plasma screens, phones-(Samsung S4 & Nokia Lumia 1520), ceiling fans, microwaves, toasters, pressing irons, Dvd machines, LG Home theater sets etc. The guests were treated like royalty from the moment they arrived till they left.

It was a stupendously well put together wedding party and it would take a lot to beat by most weddings, either because of the entertainment value or because of the availability of those things that make events of this nature great. There were about 6 well stationed and well manned food stands, supported by about 10 different finger foods vendors, then the drinks..........was better seen than imagined. The whole package was truly over the top. Those that missed it are still beating themselves over such a miss.

OUT & ABOUT AT ADANNA & CHIMA ANYASO'S WEDDING RECEPTION- MAESTRO'S MEDIA EXCLUSIVE

The reception after the fairytale wedding ceremony between Adanna & Chima was the opportunity for the couple to let off steam, relax and have major fun. After the exchange of vows and the signing of the marriage register, unto the reception ground in their Vintage Rolls-Royce they went after chilling for a few minutes to catch their breath.

Many who couldn't make the first part (exchange of vows), made sure they attended the merriment and sure as expected everyone had unbridled fun. The white marquee was filled to capacity with friends, family members & associates of the couple. At least not less than 500 guests were in attendance. All gaily & colourfully attired.

Those who had not seen the couple in their wedding outfits were eagerly waiting to have a view of them and they weren't disappointed when they were ushered in flanked on both sides by the gorgeous maids of honour & suave groomsmen. The maids of honour all wore pink, while the groomsmen all wore petroleum blue suits, white shirts, red ties & with red pocket hankies. It was a great sight to behold.

The bride in her gorgeous white wedding outfit looking all virginal, while the handsome six foot plus tall groom was the epitome dapperness in his natty cream tail coat worn over a pure white shirt and black waist-coat, atop his black trousers and finishing it off with a black tall hat & not forgetting his black bow-tie, those Louis Vuitton shoes were totally on point.

The couple danced into the hall to every one's delight. The obviously ecstatic Chima is obviously very nimble on his feet and he showed a bit of his dexterity on the dance floor to the delight of all, Adanna on the hand was obviously very shy, but she still swayed majestically like a princess to the beats as they came inside the marquee and so the exciting proceedings began.

The sweet looking duo were then introduced as the newest couple in town. The VIP guests, the likes of Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Sir Emeka Ihedioha, Chief Alabo Graham-Douglas, Leo Stan-Ekeh, Willie & Nkiru Anumudu and many others were then introduced to all. Later on the deputy speaker was called upon to advise the couple on the new journey they had just begun. Chief Leo Stan-Ekeh also spoke for a bit, mainly acknowledging that the speaker had already spoken, so there was really little to add and Mrs. Florence Ajimobi thereafter led the couple in cutting their 7-tier cake, praying for the success of the union.

The couple thereafter fed themselves with a little bit of drama to the delight of all, 'twas obvious that love was heavy in the air, it was so thick one could cut it with a knife. After a bit more ceremony the gorgeous bride later went away to change into another outfit, this time around a bedazzling cobalt blue outfit, another winner by miles. Thereafter, the 2nd round of dance, dance, dance began, but with everyone now very involved. As it is expected with any Nigerian occasions/events it was the opportunity for money spraying and since this was a London affair, it was more of Dollars & Pounds that was sprayed.

All in all, everyone had a rollicking time.  Many not minding the 2 hours drive back to London at all.

Maestro's Media was officially on ground to cover the classy affair.

Check out the pictures of the out & about at the reception.

KEVIN AND MARIAH LUCCIANO GABRIEL'S WHITE WEDDING- THE RECEPTION-PART 2

Just like we already told you all, the wedding was at The Pond Micklefield Hall, Sarrat Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The reception/after party was at the same place in a much bigger canopy just about 50 meters away from where the exchange of vows had taken place.

So after the very in love couple had officially become man and wife and the formalities of photographs with the family members, friends, guests etc had been done with, it was time for the reception and merriment.

Just like we had said in the earlier report, the choice of venue can only be described as stunning. Well tended grass land extended for many acres on all sides. Canopy itself was snow white, the inside was gorgeously arranged by the planner with flowers here and there. She should be given 5-stars mark for a good job well done. It was fairy-tale like looking, 30 tables in all, each table to accommodate about 8 people each. Each table was very well decorated giving a very beautiful view with a box of sweet on each plate.

Center of attraction was where the couple were to sit, it was like Prince Charming & his wife sitting and hosting their subjects to a befitting feast and the tall simple and beautiful cake was standing to the left of the couple. A mini cocktail bar was to the right as soon as you enter from the back entrance and a more relaxed sitting quadrangle next to it. It was like a sitting area for drinks.

All the very best of honeymoon spots were  very well represented at the venue, love pervaded the whole atmosphere. Each table represented a honeymoon spot from all parts of the world, places like Miami, Mykonos, Rio De Janeiro, Barbados, St. Thomas Island, Maldives, Paris, Tuscany, Cancun, Florence, Venice, Nice, Montego Bay, St. Lucia, Seychelles etc denoted each table of 8.

To the far left of the hall was a dedicated space, which was like a quarter of the canopy space set out as the dance floor (a disco floor a la the disco era of John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever) complete with the disco light above and that was where the deejay was located commanding stuffs, all through the event he was churning out one classic love tune after another and changed the mood of the jams as the occasion demanded.

There was a table at the entrance which was like a bird cage and had on it, all the honeymoon spots that represents all the tables on it. Each spots had the names of all the guests and the seating arrangement, so come in, check for you names and straight to your tables. Immediately as you sit, you are being served the starters and offered wines or juices as you want it.

The incomparable master of ceremony, was the incredulously good Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth, who was in his glorious element all through, running things in a smooth way, churning out jokes after jokes, everyone was very relaxed in lovely atmosphere chatting, munching, drinking and generally having a great time.

It was generally a great reception, with over abundance of whatever the guests needed either it was food, drinks, merriment. Kudos to the couple and their event planner who really did a marvelous job.

As usual one of the surprise element of the day, was when Africa's numero uno vocalist/musician Tuface Idibia aka 2 Baba popped out from backstage to serenade the couple to the delight of all the guests in attendance.

All in all, it was a great party and we all had mad fun!!! There after, the couple opened the floor, everyone was invited to groove the evening away. We captured the event for your viewing pleasure.

Please enjoy the pictures, they were all taken by Abiola O. Aloba exclusively for MM.
