The 1st 2 legs of the nuptial ceremony, being the compulsory introduction and the traditional marriage/engagement have already held, in Lagos and Asaba, in Delta State respectively. Both event held at the tail end of last year, meaning 2019. The introduction which was at the GRA home of the bride's parent, held in November of 2019 and it was a strict family affair and then the Asaba, quite colorful 'Traditional and Engagement' ceremony was in the 3rd week of December of 2019. And many of Chike & Olufunke Ogeah's friends & family members and those of the Awosemo's too, happily graced the occasion including the current Governor of Delta State himself, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, also there was Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, who has been a friend of the bride's father since the 70s and very many others too.

Both Chike Ogeah and his adorable wife-Olufunke, left no stone unturned to host the multitudes that came to rejoice and support them. We heard that 'Starch and Banga' was aplenty as one of the delicious delicacies of the day, hmmmmmm yummy😋.

For those who might still be wondering about who Chike Ogeah is? He is the tall, handsome & quite friendly, well connected, former Commissioner for Information, under the Dr. Uduaghan's administration in Delta State then. He was a fellow Commissioner in that administration, with renowned Nigerian actor/star, 'Richard Mofe-Damijo'. Long before he was called home to come serve his home state, he had built an impressive resume for himself in his career as an administrator of good repute. First as a trained lawyer and then administrator. He was a 2 time, former Special Assistant to 2 Chief Economic Advisers to the President of the Federation. After his stint in Delta State, he later became the MD/CEO of Sahcol (Skypower Aviation Holding Company Limited), before he later became the Vice-Chairman of the same multi-billion Naira valued brand, that had first been ran aground before he took over, resuscitated it and then was later privatized profitably. The Chairman of Sahcol is none other than, philanthropic billionaire of note,  Dr. Taiwo Afolabi of Sifax Holdings. In fact, Ogbueshi Chike Ogeah is the Vice-Chairman of Sifax holdings, who are also the owners of the soon to be unveiled Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, probably Nigeria's only 2nd, 5 stars hotel.

So come February 01, 2020, better written as 01/02/2020 all roads would lead to Trinity House, Zion Centre, Water Corporation Drive on the island, where the suave and handsome Pastor Ituah Ighodalo is the lead pastor. After the holy solemnization, the party would thereafter move the train to 'the Marquee' Harbour Point for what some have already tagged as 'a mother of all reception'. The wedding hashtag is #MUchLove2020.

'Uchenna Adaobi Ogeah', the delightsome bride, is the brilliant daughter of Chief Chike Ogeah. She works at Exxon Mobil as a Chemical Engineer, she in fact has a Masters degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering for that matter) from Aston University in Birmingham, England. Her equally brilliant and handsome, a total gentleman for that matter, husband/groom, Mayowa is a graduate of Bradford University where he got his first and 2nd degree in Economics and International Relations, he currently works at FIRS (Federal Inland Revenue Service).

Both actually met through Mayowa's twin sister. The sister is a friend of Uche and one thing led to another to now. 

'Mayowa Izuagbe Awosemo's' dad used to be one of the main men then in the heydays of NTA, when the Sienne Allwell-Brown, Ruth Benamasia and Co used to reign Supreme. The marriage is a unification of culture. Saturday promises to be off the hook, in all ways. As all the who-is-who are expected to grace the occasion.

Our Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his delightsome wife, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo are sure very social media savvy and are fully abreast of the realities of the times, so Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc are all nothing extraordinary to them. So before anyone would need to bend over backwards to get any news about their gorgeous daughter engagement today, Thursday, March 15, 2018, in Abuja both VP and wife themselves had released images of what went down on their different media platforms for all to see.

Like we had rightly predicted, it wasn't a loud loud throw out, as expected of the wedding featuring the children of both the incumbent Nigerian Vice President and that of billionaire businesswoman, Hajia Bola Muinat Shagaya. It was more of an elevated parlour affair! The engagement was at the Aguda House official residence of the VP and a follow up reception at the old banquet hall of the Presidential villa, where the wedding reception on Saturday would also take place.

If one can just quickly remember  that just in the last 2 weeks prior, the kids of serving Governors in Nigeria, just recently got married and Nigeria practically moved to the 2 locations of those events, so now the wedding of the first daughter and child of an influential Vice President at that to the son of a well known, highly connected lady! So the people expected that heaven should literally have come down to earth, but alas, it was devoid of the unnecessary fanfare and attendant paparazzi, but that didn't take away from the class and distinction of the event though.

Parents of the gorgeous bride wore a very lush red silky Aso Oke ensemble. The bride and the groom's traditional outfits as expected were stunning to say the least, the happy bride was all smiles all through, so also was the lucky bridegroom, who was enveloped by much air of confidence. Mother of the groom a renowned style icon in her own right looked stunning in her rich and lush purple outfit. All through the occasion, it was obvious that Damilola shares a deep bond with her parents. The wedding proper itself is set for Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Abuja. the FCT at the National Christian Centre.

So part one which is the engagement is done and dusted already, now it's the turn of part 2, which is the wedding proper, which is what we are awaiting with bated breaths and we know that for that, a host of men of God from around the country, in particular Pastor Enoch Adeboye would gather to make that occasion, stamped, sealed and delivered from heaven.

So the lovebirds are making it official today, Saturday, November 25, 2017. The preparation has been ongoing since and except you are living on the moon or on one of the planets away from the earth, that would be the only excuse to say you didn't know this was going to happen or didn't hear about it at all.

It was on the radio, TV, social media and infact it was advertised on that LED at the roundabout facing the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, we mean the one at the Lekki end.

With the way it was advertised, we know for sure it would be a carnival. We expect all the entertainers in the country at least those not in Cape Town, their spouses and girlfriends or boyfriends to converge at the venue and all others too. Both

Style will meet colours, glamour will jam panache, good money (millions upon  millions) would be well spent, champagne & other beverages would pop endlessly. We would see an avalanche of the most gorgeous and very available ladies and young and not so young, available and not so available men, many relationship will be started today, as guys will meet babes.

We know that for sure that ORISHEFEMI the groom and his men of honout would be decked in "bespoke creation by Adebayo Bankole Thomas", a fantastic Nigerian fashion brand, getting set to rule the fashon world.

The gorgeous bride as had a beautiful and hectic week. Her friends and supporters swept her off her fit with a secret but we heard well packaged"spinsters Adam party", which was partly organised for her by Bunmi Olatunji. We even heard that gifts put together for the party by Bunmi would be out of the world. So just in case you are around "the Ark" Event Centre, off Remind Olowude, Lekki on the Island, same spot where Tiwa and Tbillz Balogun tied the knot traditionally, on the island where the event is ongoing you could branch and be a part of the carnival in Lagos.

The chairman of the event, if we heard right might be the Atayase of Lagos, moneybag oil tycoon chief Francis Inegbeniki whose is very famous for the kind of out of the world party he organises himself, while his wife Helen is one of the mothers' of the day.

Actually it is the Dukes and the Phillips, who are about to officially tie the knots pretty soon.

Donald and Onari Duke were the gorgeous and stylish couple who were the former executive Governor of Cross Rivers State and his former first lady. Donald it was that brought about some of those extraordinary infrastructural development in his state.

Chief Mrs. Teju Phillips on the other hand, is the first daughter of the late former Apena and one of the most flamboyant and most respected Africans in the world, in the person of Chief Deinde Fernandez. Mrs. Teju Phillips was one of the top Commissioners in Lagos, during the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

These 2 families are set to unite in a big society wedding that's upcoming very very soon. The duo of the stupendously gorgeous and cerebral Xerona Duke and the dashing Derin Phillips aka the incredible DJ Caise have been engaged since August of 2017.

But their actual introduction ceremony was just at the weekend. The wedding would be a great display and the unity of the best of the Yoruba culture mixed with that of the very rich Efik culture and the panache and glamour of the Kalabaris!

The details of the upcoming wedding though not out yet, would soon be related to friends and family members and we are sure it would be a super stylish one, going by the antecedence of those involved.

From the pre-wedding pictures taken at the introduction, it is obvious that the duo are madly and sumptuously in love with each other. Infact the love seems very overpowering.

Now that the highly revered Oonirisa, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II is now an "eligible bachelor" that's if tradition can permit one to say that, woe betides any lady that is seen with him, either just greeting him or even seen around his entourage, for it would immediately spark speculation that the person might just be the lucky one. And such a person had better be squeaky clean without any skeletons whatsoever!

If the lady whether single or married is now a pretty or imposing one, that would most likely further add to the intrigues that surrounds who would be the next Olori (Queen) !!!!.

Just because of a picture.

The innocent picture has caused a lot of minds to fabricate a secret marriage that has since been found to be a tale by the moonlight. Even Emmanuella herself, the lady in the picture has been somewhat embarrassed by the story and has come out to dispel the rumour.

Hear her,  It's all bullshit!!! She disclaimed the whole scenario in an exclusive interview with "Flip TV".

And the currently "single lady", who had been reported to be "here and that" went on further to say that the fake story is the "handiwork of detractors".

It is obvious via the mien of the Royal Father that no one can bamboozle him to reveal his private business, until he is ready to divulge such information. So let's all wait patiently.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun,59 is the Chartered accountant turned politician and helmsman in Ogun State, who needs no introduction whatsoever. The former Senator now Governor is a known close pally of the President of Nigeria, in the person of President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR.

Abike Dabiri Erewa, 55 on her own is not a push over by any means. the former honourable member of the House of Representatives elected in 2003, is a close aide of President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR. Her desk as a Senior Special Adviser to the President is quite important, as she advises on Foreign Relations and the diaspora and she has acquited herself very well at her job. The former renowned TV gal, is known to be a very serious and hardworking person.

So what's the connection between these 2? Before anyone's mind would go on overdrive, and start thinking anyhow thoughts, we can tell you for a fact that it has to do with their kids!

OYO STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INDUSTRIES, APPLIED SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY WEDS THIS WEEKEND

Adedapo Lam-Adesina, the son of the former Governor of Oyo State and the current Commissioner for Industries, Applied Science & Technology is set to walk down the aisle with his gorgeous girlfriend of 7 years, Oluwatosin Osewa. 

According to the gist, the d-day is this Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Ibadan, Oyo State. We would update the story, when we get the more finer details of the upcoming nuptial.

KADUNA GET SET FOR VP SAMBO & GENERAL BUHARI

Kaduna State in the North of Nigeria in December is going to be in the news. Reason why is because, in that month that ends the year, the gorgeous daughters of these eminent Nigerians (VP Namadi Sambo & General M. Buhari) would be getting married to their heartthrobs.

The Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria's daughter, would be getting married in a ceremony, that we hear would kick-off from Wednesday, December 5, 2012 and as it is usual in the Northern part of Nigeria, the ceremony would last through the week till the weekend. So the Sambo's (the VP & his wife Amina) would play host to many dignitaries from all over Nigeria, who would definitely converge in Kaduna to celebrate with the VP's family.

Not too long after in the same month of December, on the 22nd of the month to be precise, all things being equal, the former Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari, Rtd, would play host to many Nigerians from far and near, as his gorgeous daughter, Halima would be getting married. The wedding fatiha would also hold in Kaduna, just like the VP daughter's own and we hear it would last for 7 days. We expect that it would be another gathering of Nigeria's who is who at both weddings. General M. Buhari, was the presidential candidate of the CPC (Congress for Progressive Change) at the last election.

While the VP is from Kaduna and was formerly the Governor of the State, General Buhari on the other hand is from Katsina, but lives in Kaduna. Interestingly, the General would be clocking 70, on December 17, 2012, so that means a double-pronged celebration for the family. 

We wish them well. Just as we were about publishing this post, we just heard that General Buhari's first daughter, Zulai 40, has passed on. She died on Thursday, November 29, 2012 after delivering a baby at the Nasara Hospital, Marafa Estate in Kaduna. She left behind her new born baby girl and 2 other kids- Amira & Mohammed. May the Soul of the dearly departed rest in peace. We don't now know, if this would affect the dates of the upcoming wedding ceremony.

And just this weekend, the ''Nawti one'' got hitched. The Lucky dude wasn't Olu Maintain but a guy named Jacob Payne, 21. Natalie who at 27 is 6 years older than her man suprised many with her decision.

Tagged loud and obnoxious by the media, the reality chic- a cast on ''Bad Girls Club'' who had at a point claimed to have dated Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa and many others, is said to have met her knight in shining armour (new husband) not too long ago. After only about 3 or 4 months engagement, she and the young footballer decided to seal their undying love for each other with a nuptial.

We had given you our readers all the details of the white wedding a few days before it happened. Now we have gone the extra-mile to bring to your viewing pleasure some of the happenstances at the event in glowing colours. We have thought to allow the pictures speak.

Like you all already know, the solemnization of Holy Matrimony was at Our Saviour's Church, Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos and the guests had been fore-warned on their iv's to make sure to be seated by 1.30PM, while the actual service started at 2PM.

The grand reception, to celebrate the friends, family members and all, was at the Muson centre, which was not a far distance from the church at all.

The very excited Nollywood hunk and his equally gorgeous Doctor -Wife both looked fantastic, on their day of joy. To add a touch of class to the wedding, the appreciative bride and groom, were said to have commissioned some exclusive perfumes, which were made especially to the preference of each of those it was presented to. Both mothers had theirs, then the bride's dad and then those on their train.

As expected many of Chidi's Nollywood colleague were in attendance.

We won’t say much in this part 2; part 1 gave a good enough account of what went down at the wedding in Paris, France. We would only echo what 2 of those at wedding said about the whole thing.

A GUEST Said and we quote verbatim-  Kaaaai, Stephanie's wedding was sooooo blissfulll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 GUESTS -2 who apparently was overly impressed by every little thing that went down, from the white wedding, to the reception and later the after party that went on till the early morning of the next day. Had this to say- I believe the wedding should enter into the Guinness Book of records- the person didn’t explain why she said so, maybe it was the sheer display of opulence or because of how romantic the whole setting was: she just said, it was glorious, it was beautiful, it was long (not in a negative way at all), Wedding, reception, after party that ran till 3.30 am. And the fireworks display cannot be easily described. It would be difficult for any in Nollywood to match for a longtime.

AMAKA & YOMI BENSON'S WHITE WEDDING IN LONDON

We had told you all about the Igba Nkwu Nwanyi (Igbo Traditional Wedding) a few weeks back. And we had said the white wedding was upcoming and was going to hold in London. Yes it finally happened and it was on April 14, 2012.

Here is the update on the wedding. The white wedding between the gorgeously beautiful Amaka, the daughter of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, who was the ACN Candidate at the last election in his home state of Imo State and Yomi Benson, one of the sons of the late Otunba T.O.S Benson. We heard the white wedding was at a Church in Central London, while the reception was at the Four Seasons Mayfair, Marylebone, London very close to Wellington Arch, Buckingham Palace & St. James Park.

Heard the wedding was a very classy 'Naija Style ' wedding, you know our weddings are always very glamorous, with loads and loads of family members, friends and admirers in attendance all gaily dressed, trying at most to outdo each other, in a subtle battle of who looks best or stands out the best.

FINALLY THE DEED IS DONE- AS STEPHANIE WEDS IDAHOSA IN PARIS

The wedding was said to have been on the card since 2010, when Stephanie's adorable hunk was said to have proposed to her. But the main deal finally happened at the weekend- April 21, 2012 in far away, Paris, France.

 Undoubtedly, the choice of Paris, known to all to be the most romantic of capitals had many reasons, firstly it would reduce the attendant uninvited media scrutiny to the barest minimum, secondly, it would stand-out the wedding as one of the weddings of the year: how many weddings in Nollywood as been done on this scale and outside the country for that matter. Now any of the prominent stars, who are still unmarried would now have to work harder and do more to top this wedding.  

The delightsome duo chose to do their wedding at a castle- called ‘the abbey’, which is like 45 minutes away from PARIS, in front of just a few hundreds of friends, family members and witnesses.

According to our source, the invited were not more than 200; there were many of the bride's colleagues from Nollywood- Genevieve Nnaji, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Susan Peters, Monalisa Chinda, Evang.Liz Benson, Paul Obazele, Greg & Debbie Odutayo, Lilian Bach, Emem Isong Ini Edo and many others.  Some of the other guests were the likes of the S.A to the President on Niger Delta- Kingsley Kuku, Prince Tonye Princewill and wife, the Honourable Minister for Aviation- Mrs. Stella Oduah Ogiemwonyi, the chairman of Osmoserve-Scott Tommey, Col. Mohammed Umar, Dame Toru Ofili, Group MD of UBA- Phillip Oduoza and many others.

 Top TV Anchor- Frank Edoho of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was the MC at the wedding reception, and another MC had done the job inside the church. Mind you, the church and reception venue were in the same compound, as the castle was a massive place. It was a very romantic French wedding from what we heard, with the violin having prominence, and the couple and guests sang a few wedding hymns. Heard the bride’s dress was outstandingly gorgeous, while her beau looked every inch a hunk in his well fitted tuxedo. We heard the whole procession and proceedings brought tears of joy to every eye. After the exchange of marital vows, the couple and their guests moved on to another session of merrymaking at the reception, there was the cutting of the wedding cake, the newly married couple now had their first official dance together. It was after all the merrymaking that the couple went away for some time to prepare for the mother of all after party, still yet at the same castle.

The couple later came back at around 11PM, back to the same spot where the reception had held before, this time, the gorgeously beautiful bride wore another glorious outfit, which wowed all that came, she was led in by her very handsome husband and the fun began in earnest.

 So after the merriment, which was more of dance, dance, and more dance, the guests were led out to view an unbelievable display of fireworks, we heard the glorious fireworks display was in many stages and at the end of it all everyone was totally mesmerized. For a party that began at about 11pm, we heard the unbridled fun was on till after 3.30 AM of the next morning. According to one of the guests, who was a part of the whole event, it was fantastic wedding, which would be unrivalled for a longtime to come. Many of the guests who flew in from Nigeria were flown in on a chartered Arik Flight by the couple and we can bet that many were also provided free accommodation, so good money must have been spent to make the occasion one to remember.

 We at MM wish the couple, the best of marital bliss; we are eagerly expecting the sextuplet that would bless the marriage the more, Insha Allah.
