Wonders shall never end, never ever. As long as we are alive and have the breath of life in us, we would continue to see and observe things that would make us laugh and wonder. This article with the regular dude in his specially made Gucci mask 🎭 is one of such wonders.

So madam 1st lady, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano dazzled all comers recently with her 1M plus Naira ($2755) Gucci limited edition eye mask with crystals just today, which caused loads of uproar or better still reactions.

Now an ordinary (regular guy) citizen too has shown madam, that cannot be the only one getting all the attention whilst wearing the Gucci mask, as he was seen wearing the exact same Gucci, but his own is a "Made in Nigeria version" of the same mask with delightsome panache and swag.

So we have thought to ask you all, that who wore it best?

MRS. WILLIE OBIANO DAZZLES WITH HER 1M PLUS NAIRA EYE SHADE OR GUCCI MASK.

Madam's husband Sir Willie Obiano, is the executive Governor of the richest or wealthiest Ibo state in Nigeria, that's talking about Anambra State. If we are right, it is believed that Anambra has the highest number of multimillionaires, billionaires, wealthy men and women of Ibo extraction.

So to be the chief executive of such a state is not just a little feat, you have to be packed too or you must be well supported by heavyweights. Sir Willie Obiano a former good friend of the former state Governor, Peter Obi adjudged to have been one of the best Governors to have ever ruled that state, is on to his 2nd and final term as a Governor.

In his first term as the State Chief  Executive, the former Executive director at Fidelity Bank, a bank that Peter Obi is acclaimed to have been one of the owners (the truth about that we do not know for sure), was adjudged to have done a pretty good job in governance & the delivery of the dividend of democracy to the delight of his people, that was before erstwhile friends Obiano & Obi, mentor and mentee fell apart not to reconcile again till now.

It seems like this 2nd term has just been, just that, just moving with the tide having the fun that Governing a state makes happen. Nothing extraordinary unlike in the first term have been heard, except that madam first lady of Anambra, Mrs. E V Obiano is a fashionista worth her salt.

Madam was seen recently wearing what the designer brand-Gucci called a eye mask, that's how they described this gasp inducing eye wear. Normally you had seen such a spectacle more on a much younger person, maybe someone more in the entertainment industry seeking for attention. With the position of First Lady of a whole state, would madam be in need of attention again? Especially as we have told you the kind of state her husband is in charge of! But truth be told ooooo, Madam Ebele V. Obiano according to the gist is actually the de facto Governor of Anambra state, while her husband the actual is supposedly the Chief of Staff. According to the gist, the woman who used to be so quick at landing slaps on the face of any who tries nonsense in the state, even made her former maid in Lagos, the Commissioner for Women Affairs.

So with this madam's dazzling fashion display, maybe she is exploiting or better still, exploring her youthfulness, like maybe some of those things she never did when she was in her teens or younger age, now with a good opportunity given, why not do it all? And who says she shouldn't wear such an eye wear, if she has the confidence to carry it? Anyway, any how one can bring attention to Anambra State is a good way, so we think.

At the end of the day, the Gucci Limited Edition EyeMask is just a mere 1plus million Naira at $2755 to N365, a chicken 🐔 feed to Madam First Lady. Why would anyone dare to want to see the eye of a goddess?

ANAMBRA GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION 2017 & THE WINNER IS .... WILLIE OBIANO!!!!

Baring any last minute magic show, the incumbent Governor of the state of Anambra, is coasting home to an emphatic and quite impressive victory.

Though the opponents arrayed against him were supposedly heavyweights, with the way things are going, it's like they were more of paperweights than the heavyweights people had thought they were, as their perceived influence apparently carried no weight at the end of it. Even with the calculations and permutations done to wrest power from Chief Willie Obiano, even with all the hell raised by his former friend and political ally in the person of former Governor, Mr Peter Obi, it is like the people seem to prefer the tested hand to a new one, it's likely saying the devil we know rather than the saint we don't!

The PDP particularly had raised so much dust, claiming the Governor never really did anything that warranted him needing a 2nd term, they had raised so much hoopla that at a point many felt that they had a chance to tip the apple cart and cause a major upset, infact with their final campaign just a day to the election, where former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR, Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti, Governor Iyesom Wike of Rivers, Governor Arthur Okowa Ifeanyi of Delta, former Governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel and many other bigwigs were present and had spoken against the incumbent and his party, the APGA one would have thought there was some major, very potent magic they were going to perform, but alas, there visit was inconsequential in every way, as the voters were apparently not convinced by them and at the end of the day, they the voters, voted their conscience- Willie Obiano!

The battle for 2nd position is a straight forward one between APC's Dr. Tony Nwoye and PDP's Oseloka Henry Obaze. UPP's own Osita Chidoka would most definitely come in a very distant 4th, all the other candidates from the other parties needed not to have contested at all in the first place, reason being that it's like it was just their friends and family members and few associates that voted for them and it was just a waste of resources. Maybe their calculation is that they would get relevance by contesting, we would see after all the dust has finally settled down if they have. 

We just hope that once Chief Willie Obiano is officially declared as the winner, which might be via a landslide victory that he had confidently predicted before the election began he would get, that he would be magnanimous in victory. And that he would close ranks with all his opponents (those willing to work with him though) so that at the end of it all, it would be Anambra that is the ultimate winner. Though a bit of gloating is allowed, it shouldn't be the type that would be to the detriment of the state. It's good that at least Obiano has finally dealt with the nuisance factor of Peter Obi and has somewhat shown him, that without him he can win an election quite easily.

Now that the people have openly showed to the world their confidence in OBIANO, what he should also do to thank them for the confidence reposed on him is to work, work and work, doing things that would greatly advance the quality of lives of Ndi Anambra.

So it's another 4 years of the Obiano magic, let's wait and see what the man would do for this 2nd term.

Imagine that the curious thing this election has brought to fore, is that the IPOB who had greatly over estimated themselves, couldn't disrupt the election, which they had ask the citizens to boycott. Now it's very obvious that they had given themselves credit that they didn't actually deserve.

The Nigerian Police and other security arms must be greatly commended for ensuring that a peaceful election took place, with next to no trouble recorded. Also INEC must also be commended for conducting what many have tagged a Free and Fair, rancour free election. Hope we can always expect this?

But the biggest commendation should be for the people, who we see as the real heroes, who despite the unwholesome intimidation from all sides, especially from an IPOB that had threatened death for daring to vote, they still went out and performed their civic duties and picked for themselves their own choice in returning the Governor. Kudos!

Any person or group of persons or entity that can afford to threaten her own people with death, just to get their support is not worth listening to at all. Those kind of people are the type that would turn out to be tyrants if given the chance. Everything in life is by choice, it must not be by force or intimidation.

Congratulations in advance sir. The people are expecting so much from you, one just hope that you wouldn't disappoint them. 

ANAMBRA NOVEMBER 18 2017 BECKONS. WHO WOULD CARRY THE DAY EVENTUALLY?

Just 3 more days to this election, which would be a litmus test for Nigeria, INEC, Police.

All the contestants are evenly matched so it seems, though the incumbent has a slight advantage in that he has shown already what he could do, so he can be accessed based on that, but that's not all, he can also use the paraphernalia of office to push things his way, but would that work here? We don't know for sure.

It's a straight battle pitting Obiano vs Obaze vs Chidoka vs Nwoye, that is APGA vs PDP vs UPP vs APC! Some are already predicting a straight battle between OBIANO of APGA and OBAZE of PDP. The reason for Obaze they think is because of the Peter Obi factor; the Ex-Governor who has a marvelous record of achievements whilst he was Governor, is hell bent on removing his own prodigy, who years back he fought tooth and nail to install, but since both men fell out, they have become sworn enemies ready to totally dismantle and eviscerate each other. Also the somewhat newly resurrected PDP which was on the brink of extinction before, are bent on making a statement with this election, as they want to be able to boast and claim that they are back and again are the party to beat and follow!

What are the chances of Dr. Nwoye of APC? The grassroots mobiliser might find it a bit hard so they say and the reason people are hammering on is that, people don't want to replicate Owelle Rochas Okorocha in Anambra State! But even at that, the Federal factor, which is the need to be in the main stream of things, just like Lagos now is, might just work wonders for him, apart from the federal factor though, Nwoye is an avowed, award winning grassroots, youth mobiliser par excellence and if he could work his magic right, he might just spring a major surprise.

On Sir Osita Chidoka, the former Minister and former boss of the FRSC, in recent times not very much has been heard about him, he seem to have gone deep, maybe not necessarily making too much noise, but doing what should be done underground. If preparation and articulation of ideas alone could just win an election, the former top PDP stalwart could have just walked leisurely in to the Awka Government house, but alas it's far much more than that.

To make sure all goes well on the D-Day, especially to forestall any hanky-panky from IPOB and other elements bent on forming troubles, 26000 personel, 300 vehicles, 15 gunboats and 3 Helicopters have been mobilised to make security water tight. 3 Commissioners of Police, new to that terrain would also be on ground, in charge of each of the Senatorial zones to stifle any form of trouble of any kind. The incumbent Commissioner for Police in Anambra State, Garba Umar was withdrawn, while the ADC to the Governor and all other police personnel attached to private and public individuals were recalled to forestall their use for any hanky-panky by those they work for who they would have most definitely favoured above others. All of this actions were taken to enable a level playing field (ground) for all.

So who would carry the day? OBIANO? OBAZE? NWOYE? CHIDOKA? 

OSODIEME OBIANO DOING THE AYO FAYOSE STYLE- WHEN TAKING ELECTIONEERING TO THE ABSURD!

Her Excellency, Madam Osodieme Ebele Obiano, the 1st lady of Anambra State is surely a good wife, why have we said that?

If we are to judge strictly on the basis of her wanting to help her husband the "Executive Governor of Anambra Chief Willie OBIANO" to retain his mandate to rule the good people of Anambra State for the 2nd time, then her "antics", (especially using the style of Peter Ayodele Fayose to hoodwink the people) at "electioneering campaign" then can be easily excused.

Imagine the Anambra State 1st lady deciding to ride around on an Okada (bike) looking grossly uncomfortable as a way to endear herself to the people and make them seemingly feel she's one of them!

If it was something she does often it would have been great, but to now embark on subterfuge for election reason to us is a gross mockery! Bad aspect of it was that the discomfort was etched on her face glaringly!

We particularly love her husband and wouldn't want them to take this thing now, to the mundane level. 

UPDATE ON THE UPCOMING NOVEMBER 2017 ANAMBRA ELECTION- THE ANDY UBA FACTOR AND THE PDP SURPRISE PACKAGE- OSELOKA OBAZE

Now that the APC has backed Dr. Tony Nwoye has her candidate for the upcoming battle of the titans in Ndi Anambra come November 18, 2017 what would the moneybag known as Senator Andy Uba, who had taken not less than 40 senators to go pick up his form to participate at the primary then, in a power show to intimidate others now do?

It is obvious somewhat that the days of blatant money politics in the state (ANAMBRA) seems to have ended. For if it was money that should have decided who should be the flag bearer of the APC and even PDP in that state, none of the many candidates who vied to be chosen as the sole candidate of the APC & PDP could match have matched the likes of Senator Andy Uba, Oil and Gas mogul Ifeanyi Ubah and former Aviation Minister and SPG boss Stella Oduah.

But even with all of their capacities and capabilities, they were still totally annilated by those without their kind of staggering wealth, but who were loads more influential and rightly connected.

Dr. Tony Nwoye, who is  now the confirmed candidate of the APC, got 95% of the votes amongst the 12 that took part in the primary and left the remaining 5% to be shared by all the other candidates, which included Senator Andy Uba.

Dr. Nwoye, is a medical doctor by profession and a House of Representatives member and also a well respected politician, who is the youngest of the aspirants vying for the post of Executive Governor of Anambra State. At 43, he and Chief Osita Chidoka of UPP who is 46 are the young men, who wants to bring in a lot new energy into running the affairs of the South East's most urban state.

Undoubtedly the only opponent out of the many or is it several that can unseat the incumbent in Anambra State, causing a major and unprecedented upset is Chief Osita Chidoka, former boss at FRSC & former Federal Minister of Aviation.

To be able to upset the apple cart, the one with the onerous task must be formidable and must have the wherewithal/resources to carry the fight to the other side, truth be told Osita Chidoka is a most formidable opponent and the only one amongst the several names that can give the incumbent Governor a run for his money.

Forget the fact that the party from which he wants to prosecute his case is "seemingly" unpopular, that false thought is totally untrue. Only yesterday Osita Chidoka,was nominated unopposed as the candidate of the UPP that is "United Progressive Party.

The UPP has as her founder and chairman a well known and avowed, quite formidable grassroots politician and mobiliser of men by name Chief Dr Chekwas Okorie, the Oje-Ozi Ndigbo (messenger of the Igbo) same one that was actually the founder and former chairman of APGA before he was schemed out and ousted by the former Governor of Anambra.

That fight then between Chief Okorie and Mr. Obi for the soul of APGA nearly led to the demise of the party and had loads of casualties in tow. Leading to him leaving to go and form UPP & Peter Obi even left for PDP. So Chief Chekwas Okorie has a bone to grind with APGA and by extension PDP.

The strong back up or support above already counts very much in favour of Osita Chidoka. But let's now even add to the above facts, Osita Chidoka himself has not sat down to just luxuriate thinking all is done and dusted, in order to acquaint himself with the electorate in his state, he has made sure to visit every part of Ndi Anambra. By that we actually mean every hamlet, village, parts even the hinterlands. That alone again counts for so much.

It would most definitely be a battle royale extraordinary when the Anambra State Governorship election would hold, as the caliber of those set to battle each other seem to be getting more awesome and more impressive by the day.

Just yesterday, another "incredible personality", in the person of Senator Andy Uba, of the APC formerly of the PDP/Labour Party went to pick up the form signifying his intention with about 40 senators from the APC and many women and youths in tow, so as to be the representative of the APC in the upcoming battle of the titans.

Handsome thespian son of renowned Nigeria thespian by name Pete EDOCHIE, by name Yul EDOCHIE has made his political intention and ambition known to the world.

Maybe as a way to confirm that truly "everyman is a political animal" one way or the other, it seems like the young man has legitimate hope of running the affairs of the richest state in the East- Anambra.

If Yul has his way, he would be involved in a 3 way battle with the incumbent, Chief Willie OBIANO of APGA, who is acknowledged as an action Governor per excellence and who many have glowingly reiterated that he deserves another 4 years term in charge, based on his antecedence. The executive Governor of Anambra State currently, would be clocking 62 on August 8, 2017.

On the other side is the former Corps General of the FRSC and former Minister under the Government of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR, in the person of Chief Osita Chidoka of the UPP, but formerly of the PDP. Chief Chidoka is another action packed individual, with outstanding pedigree in public service. He is a relatively young man at 46, in fact he would be clocking 46 on July 17, 2017.

What would be Yul's reason for stepping forward? He believes there's the need for the old and senile kind off to give way to the new and fresh, like him. Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie, clocked 35 in January of 2017. He is the last born of 6 kids of the veteran and award winning actor-father.

As per his political party of choice to prosecute this dream and ambition, no one knows yet. Maybe APC since their candidate has withdrawn in support of the incumbent.

Anambra State, also known as ''the Light of the Nation'' where Governor Peter Obi reigns supreme as we speak as the action Governor, is gradually getting ready for what some have tagged- a battle royale. 

Now that Governor Peter Obi has successfully done 2 terms, meaning he cannot run again, the coast is now open for such heavyweight combatants the likes of the following-

Billionaire Senator and man of great influence- who tasted what it was like to be a Governor sometime back for just a few days, in the person of beleaguered Senator Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, 54, but better known as Andy Uba who is currently the Senator representing Anambra South Federal constituency.  For now the powerful & highly connected Senator, is battling to be chosen as the candidate of his party the PDP. There had been a parallel congress at the PDP primary a while back, which had produced 2 candidiates from the party. While the PDP machinery supports the other candidiate, in the person of Comrade Tony Nwoye. INEC on the other hand seems to support the PDP faction that produced Andy Uba.
