HEY HEY PEOPLE! PAUSE PLEASE, THE NEW YEYELUWA OF IFE NEVER WALKED ON BLOOD!!!

We can bet very well that one of the most read about couple on the internet as it concerns Nigeria in the last couple of days are the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II and his new wife, the super gorgeous 25 year old former prophetess/Evangelist  Yeyeluwa, Olori Shilekunola Naomi Moronke Ogunwusi.

People had been very interested to know who the most reverred African king from Nigeria would marry and speculations had been rife, with many eligible ladies connected with him, jostling to fill the post and take the heart of the King. So when on Thursday, October 18, 2018 when it was announced that he had gotten married and to a delightsome beauty, young maiden at that, it was elation galore from many quarters.

Especially from those quarters who had felt that a king was not complete as a bachelor.

All was very well and nice until a particular picture came out, where in performing the necessary marriage rites that tradition and culture dictated must be done, the new wife was seen walking barefoot on a red liquid that some had assumed, while others suspected or speculated was blood.

Just because of that picture alone, much hoopla was raised! People immediately came to the conclusion that it was a devilish rite that was performed in the open. Many didn't actually even give the lady and the Palace a benefit of the doubt. They just concluded and many even had to voice out, exclaiming loudly and asking why a so called Prophetess/Evangelist of God, could change so suddenly and could be seen engaging in such absurd tradition, which they had proclaimed was totally against the Christian tenets. There was a particular statement that went thus, "how can light and darkness mix"? By that, their idea is that how can Christianity (which the Prophetess was supposedly representing or had represented) mix so effortlessly with traditional religion (which they termed darkness) of which they claim the Ooni is a strong  proponent.

But after investigating we can actually tell you now and matter of factly so too, that what the Olori (queen) actually walked on, stepped on was none other than "Oosun".. Oosun???? Yes Oosun, a red dye that is gotten from Camwood!!!

Camwood's actual scientific name is "Baphia Nitida" which is also called African Sandalwood. It is this Camwood from which the red dye is gotten and it's earliest discovery was from West Africa.

This red dye like that used for native tattoo is used very much by the Yoruba race, in their tradition and culture for beauty enhancement. It is actually a part of the marriage ceremony. While the 'laili' is used by the Northerners as a form of traditional beauty enhancer, so also the 'Oosun' in Yoruba land. Not only is it just a beauty enhancer though, it is also symbolic as it says somewhat that the home that the wife is entering would be cool and beautiful and majorly fruitful.

It must be understood very very well and must not be discountenanced at all, that the Oonirisa and by extension is wife, are both now custodians of the Yoruba race, so they are exponents of the traditions and the culture of their people. So they must by right always showcase the beauty and excellence of the Yoruba race, culture and tradition. So the rites must be done accordingly and properly as it should be.

Maybe the problem with the misinterpretation by a majority of the people is lack of proper knowledge and communication. What was been showcased was just a little part of the very rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba race and it was nothing fetish at all. That's even if other fetish things are or were done.

We believe that if it were something fetish, the Palace would have had the wisdom not to or never to allow such a gory picture go public or wouldn't have allowed such for public consumption at all, as it would be misconstrued!

For the avoidance of doubt and for proper communication, there has always been a common saying of the Yoruba's which goes thus-- "Iyawo elese Oosun", which can be loosely translated to mean "the maiden/wife/bethroted with the very beautiful feet". So if you have understood what Oosun actually refers to or represents, that it is just a very symbolic deep Yoruba way of ushering a good pair of female feet into a new household (her husband's home).

If the Oosun or Osun as some would call and spell it is actually blood or fetish, then everyone who has ever used blacksoap before have also one way or the other too performed some rituals too then!!!!

AND YET MORE ABOUT THE NEWLY MARRIED YEYELUWA OF IFE, OLORI SHILEKUNOLA NAOMI MORONKE OGUNWUSI

Her Royal Majesty, Yeyeluwa of Ife, Olori Silekunola Naomi MORONKE Ogunwusi https://maestromedia.blogspot.com/2018/10/exclusive-pictures-from-ooni-and-wifes.html?m=0

His Imperial Majesty, the Arole Oodua, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II

Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi

FACT FILE--
The whole world has been agog since the news broke about the Yeyeluwa's marriage to His Imperial Majesty, the Oonirisa Adimula of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

Until this union was sealed, little was known about the Prophetess and Evangelist previously, who was the Head of her own Ministry known as the EN-Heralds Ministry, which is an interdenominal ministry, a very popular one at that in Akure, Ondo State.

She began her public ministry call at the your age of 18, but became a full time Evangelist at 21, October 19, 2011 t I be more precise, so yesterday Friday, October 19, 2018 would have been her 7th year of call to bar or should we say call to the service of God.

Olori Silekunonla Naomi Moronke Oluwaseyi now Ogunwusi was born April 15, 1993 so she's 25 years old going 26 now.

She apparently not totally confirmed though, left AAUA, that's Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Akure, Ondo State at 100 level, that's in her first year to pursue her call.

She has about 6 other siblings. It's very likely that now that she is married and her sphere of jurisdiction has changed, most likely that her mom Pastor Funmilayo Grace Oluwaseyi would take over the running of her thriving ministry, since she can't continue to run it by herself anymore, especially now that she has become a full-fledged, partner custodian of the Yoruba tradition and culture around the world. What that actually means is that she cannot be combining the dictates of traditional religion, with Christianity!!!

Although again, with the Ooni's assertion that all the religions, most especially that Christianity and Islam came from the Yoruba Traditional religion, maybe a combination, some sort of merging something of the 'chrislamherb' package, can be worked out!

According to the yet to be confirmed gist, Kabiyesi the Ooni of Ife actually met his now Olori only 9 months ago in February of 2018 to be more precise. It is said that the meeting point was in Ife, at the Ife resort developed by his imperial majesty.

Apparently, there had been a programme sort of, put together by the ministry of the renowned Iya Adura, Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, the founder of the UK based C & S, Love of Christ Generation Church, one of the fastest growing churches in the UK.

Rev. Mother Ajayi is a noted preacher of love across board, who wants the unity of all the white garment churches all over the world. She is a noted philanthropist also.

If what we hear is to be believed, then Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi might actually have introduced the Olori to the Arole Oodua, the Oonirisa Adimula, a his Imperial Majesty at the Ife resort programme and the rest, like they say is now history.

May nature most graciously, bless this union most abundantly with all types of blessings that's possible.

EXCLUSIVE PICTURES FROM THE OONI AND WIFE'S MARRIAGE CEREMONY. A MAESTRO'S MEDIA SUPER EXCLUSIVE.

H.I.M, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II and Yeyeluwa SHILEKUNOLA MORONKE Ogunwusi

Like we already said in our earlier report, it was a low key occasion that took place in Akure, Ondo State. To be more precise the classy traditional ceremony held at Ijapo Estate Akure yesterday, Thursday, October 18, 2018. Kabiyesi was not in attendance at the ceremony though, after the ceremony was when the queen was brought to Ife. The Ogunwusi family attended the wedding on the King's behalf.

The family was lead to Akure by the King's father, Prince John Oluropo Ogunwusi. And his wife, Olori Agba, Margaret Ogunwusi.
Also in attendance were:
Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi, Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, Prince & Princess Jide & Folashade Fadairo, Princess Adesola Ogunwusi, Princess & Mr. Seye & Foluso Kolawole, Princess Adebimpe Ogunwusi & Mr. Bolaji Jimoh, Princess Bunmi Ogunwusi, Princess Adebambo Ogunwusi, Princess Doja Ogunwusi.

The new Yeyeluwa of Ile Ife was brought to Ife at 10pm, last night to begin her new life as the Olori (Queen).

With this done now, it practically silences all the speculations that had surrounded his imperial majesty all of this months. All of those connections that were speculated before have now been finally thrown into the dustbin of history!

There's in fact a school of thought that believes that some of those connects that were speculated and that gained traction in the media might have been stylishly sponsored by those women mentioned just to see if they could stylishly drift in or so that thgey could slide in stylishly into Kabiyesi's DM.

Kudos to the Kabiyesi. Now that the little distractions are over, it's now time to completely focus on advancing the glory of the Yoruba race around the world and the preaching of the message of love, that his imperial majesty has picked as a major focus that needs undivided attention.

Congratulations to Ife's New daughter and wife of the King! We are waiting to celebrate the twins, with much pomp!!!! She was born on April 15, 1993, so she's 25 years old.

More pictures after the break.
