day, an initiative created by Pernod Ricard has been practiced globally for
years and is devoted to combating underage drinking and drink- driving. On June
5, every year, over 18,000 employees of Pernod Ricard in 70 Countries pass one
message with one voice… Responsible drinking.
This
year our newest addition to the Pernod Ricard family; Pernod Ricard Nigeria, along
with their partners are part of our Responsib’All Day campaign.
The
aim of this day is to introduce a culture of responsible drinking across all
ages in Nigeria, from the point of retail to the outlets.

Pernod Ricard Recommends Zero Alcohol for underage individuals
and has set two objectives; delaying
the age of the first drink and delaying the age of first intoxication.
Pernod
Ricard Nigeria will on June 5 2013, spread knowledge about Alcohol and Safety
Driving for Nigerians of all ages. To achieve this, Pernod Ricard is partnering
with authorities and partners in Nigeria such as FRSC, THE PALMS SHOPPING
CENTRE, CFAO, SMOOTH 98.1 FM, BELLANAIJA, LOST IN LAGOS, MAESTRO'S MEDIA as well
as celebrity advocacy and many NGOs like the YMCA.
On
the mainland in Lagos, Pernod Ricard Nigeria has mapped out the Ojota Motor
Park to promote the “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaign although there will be
activities in Ibadan, Abuja and Port Harcourt on the same day.
Pernod
Ricard Nigeria along with volunteers, partners and celebrity friends invites
all who have lost loved ones to drink driving, whether they were behind the
wheel or hit by a drunk driver, to The Palms Lekki, at 4pm June 5, 2013 to immortalize
our friends and family whom we lost to drink-driving. We will sign personal
messages to them on the “Canvas of Memories” at The Palms shopping centre Lekki
and Silverbird Mall in Abuja.
