We have 2 main candidates. 

But you can abstain. Or you can choose a fringe candidate. You can demand a census or referendum before any election. That's a choice too.

Democracy is freedom.

We have a monogamist and a polygamist. I know what Islam says. I know what Islam prefers. I know about the equality of persons. I know the marital status I will prefer.

We have a former military officer and a former Customs Officer.  I know which institution was more morally flabby. I know the one that was in fact a college of corruption. You can choose as you wish. One was an example in rectitude, cited by his peers. The other was a picture of the  routine moral decadence his parastatal was known for.

Choose whomsoever you like.

We have one candidate respected by foreign leaders and the international community for his integrity. We have another with a sullied international reputation.  I want a leader who can't be deemed by outsiders as fantastically corrupt.  I would have wanted Oby Ezekwesili too.

Choose your candidate. It is democracy.

We have one candidate who has allowed a later day reputation of nepotism and tribalism to rest on him. We have another who has appeared more cosmopolitan.

Make your choice. I will prefer a leader that can heal a fractured nation.

We have once candidate who appears business savvy. it is possible he will be quicker in decision making. And he may be more flexible and more eager to reach helpful compromises.

It's your choice.

We have one candidate who had the opportunity to grab oil wells. But he shunned inordinate wealth acquisition. We have another who worked for government and worked for himself. He exploited his positions in government and fattened his private pockets. I want a leader who isn't possessed by the spirit of compulsive wealth acquisition. You can choose whom you want.

We have a candidate that has put in sweat into railways and agriculture. He has engaged in the biggest social intervention programs this country has ever known. He paid Biafran veterans what had been denied them their life time. He is paying Nigerian Airways workers. We have another candidate who saw  openings in government economic policies and grabbed cakes for himself and his friends.

We have a candidate who deputised in an administration that paid off national debts and privatized public assets. And left a sizeable sum in the treasury. We have another who is frugal but met fragile circumstances that caused him to balloon the national debt profile.

One candidate has mouthed restructuring. When he was in power he resented that topic. The other was willing to look at restructuring when he was out of power. But when he got in he said it was for the NASS to deal with.

Choose your candidate.

On Ambode's Stunted Re-election...By Olaleye Olawale

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Akinwunmi Ambode 

I'm not an Akinwunmi Ambode person, and that is public knowledge. But it will be utterly unfair for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to force him to a primary, when the practice has always been that governors of the party are given the right of first refusal across the nation. The choice of direct primary is clearly designed to humiliate him, because even governors, who failed to win their second term election didn't have to struggle for their tickets in the party.


I can't comprehend the logic behind it except that it is a grossly dishonest choice, informed by sheer political greed. The same Tinubu who allegedly asked some prospective aspirants to a particular senatorial seat in the state to back off, because the present occupant deserves the right of first refusal? And a few weeks to the primary, a Lagos governor does not know his fate? Haba!

Now, the leader will hide under the facade of following party's decision to teach the governor some lessons, because, like it or not, it is who they allow to vote that would vote and the outcome is inevitably guided. Watch out for the guidelines soon. You will be stunned!

Pray Ambode does not make it at the primary otherwise, we will be here to analyse the consequences, going forward. Recall I said recently that the process is the only thing that has changed as far as direct primary is concerned, albeit in name. The result will always be at the behest of the leader. The message is one: 'Baba so pe' and the followers will go in one straight line. Just another "ziggy" in the offing!

Perhaps, Ambode too would have learnt a lesson or two, both in human relations and political strategy. He set the tone for the corner he is boxed today from the word go. His vindictive disposition and needless disregard for the political class except Tinubu might have come to haunt him.

Anyway, welcome to Lagos, Nigeria's most cosmopolitan city, where the educated have been hypnotised into political zombies by one man.

COULD THERE TRULY BE A STRAIN IN TINUBU AND AMBODE'S RELATIONSHIP?

Re-election time is fast drawing near and all those eligible are doing all that's possible to make sure their i's are dotted and t's crossed. Even those just seeking to come in for the first time are waiting also, ready to pounce. One of those also majorly interested in a deserved 2nd term is the very hardworking Governor of the state of excellence-Lagos, in the person of his excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

That his excellency has done a fine job, some even consider it a most excellent of jobs, in fact a yore man's job in the last 3 years and is still going on so strong is evident for all to see. The people of Epe alone left to them would want the Governor to remain the Executive Governor of Lagos for life, if it were possible, this is so because of the excellent touch that the action man has given to his 'adopted' homestead.

Epe, is not the only place that has felt the magnanimity of the workaholic action Governor who is seemingly bent on turning Lagos into a near Eldorado and who is also somewhat in a hurry to do what some have considered the magic. His fine touch dots everywhere and commendably too at that. From the more urban areas to the inner more rural parts, that most had neglected before when they were in power. Roads repairs in torrents, great infrastructures being built across the state, extraordinary investment in security, in fact no state in the whole federation has spent what AMBODE'S administration has spent in terms of security, in fact many states combined, haven't spent the kind of colossal amount Ambode has spent to improve the security of lives and properties in Lagos.

All the above and more are not the only areas that Lagos has seen improvements, one other major area is the stratospheric improvement in IGR, imagine that what Lagos has raked in is what many states combined would bring in in many years. Being an award winning accountant/auditor/money engineer par excellence, one who has risen from the lowest cadre of administration at the Local government level to be the Governor, the man has really done confirmably well and there are still great things to launch, to declare open before the end of this action packed first term running into a 3nd term of its permitted. Some have even suggested that, apart from the Jakande's administration that was the standard by which most administrations is judged, followed by that of the Tinubu's administration that supposedly came up with the current blueprint that successive administrations are now following, even to the BRF administration which many thought was already the height of it, that the AMBODE'S administration is probably running to become the greatest till date, that is if he can continue like this and even do a 2nd term with the same heart, purposefulness and untiring and unwaving swagger that he has used during this first term.

What is obvious about the administration of Governor Ambode and his style is that, he must have really studied the state very well over the years, believing that one day he would become the state chief executive and had therefore planned ahead for that eventuality and had developed a fail proof blueprint which he hoped to use if he ever came to power, which he is now executing gallantly. So if in his first term he has done so much and there's still so much to be done, it is believed that a 2nd term would allow him to consolidate and even do far more.

But that 2nd term which should normally be a given, considering his resume and what he had already done (achieved) and his future plans, might be on a shaky ground already!!!! What????? Shaky what??? There is the claim that there might be some subtle differences/disagreements with his godfather, the Governor emeritus of the state of aquatic excellence, in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU! How can that be? The godfather is supposed to be happy to high heavens that his political son is shutting down impressively all naysayers that had thought he shouldn't have been the preferred one! This normally should be the happiest moment of a father well pleased in a son who is surpassing all the dreams had about him! But alas, there is said to be some estrangement ongoing, that is also very well hidden only known to some or very few.

Respected seer Primate Elijah Ayodele is at it again. The revered man of God has checked again his crystal ball and has come out with some bangers of revelations that might not have or wouldn't ever endear him to the powers that be, especially those in power currently.

The double pronged revelations are just somewhat earth shaking for our polity right now, as we look towards next year 2019, which is important because it's the election year and people are already preparing their minds on who they want to vote to elect as their leaders come next year.

The overseer and prophet in charge of the Inri ministry, has said loudly for all that cares to hear, that the current number 3 man, in the person of the Senate President, Dr Olubukola Saraki is "God's choice" to become the next president of Nigeria come the next election. He didn't end it there, he went on to say that if he Saraki refuses to put himself forward, that God would punish him!

Not just the above alone, the seer came up with another earth shattering prophecy again, but this time it has to do with the APC national leader in the person of the Jagaban of Borgu himself, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Primate Ayodele was quoted to have said that ASIWAJU was just being used by President Buhari and that he would be dumped with ignominy afterwards.

The Lagos based cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual has again warned APC National leader, Bola Tinubu not to support the ambition of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, making it known that he is going to abandon him.

Just yesterday, Monday, he revealed that God will punish Bukola Saraki if he fails to contest in the 2019 presidential elections.

In his words,
“The present ‘romance’ going on between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Buhari is deception; they’re deceiving Tinubu. They just want to use him and dump him. Until we appreciate God and not man, the country will continue to experience underdevelopment,” he said.

On the 2019 presidential election, the cleric stated that God had ordained Saraki to help Nigeria.

“I want to tell Saraki now to make up his mind, because God has ordained him to help this country. He should come out to contest for President. It’s not by noise. At the moment, he is the one who can move Nigeria forward.

“So, I want him to take the bold step and make up his mind or else, God would deal with him. I don’t make predictions; I give prophecies. However, I am not God. God can choose to delay when fulfilling certain prophecies.

“What is happening with the administration of President Muhammad Buhari, God had told me and I said it; these things are happening now. Everything happening in the country now has been foretold,” he stated.

OUR DELICIOUS REP- OMOSEDE IGBINEDION IN PREPARATION FOR 2019 ELECTION

One of those already working assiduously in preparation for all that may come politically wise come 2019 is the gorgeous big boned daughter of multimillionaire businessman from Edo, his eminence "The Esama of Benin, Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion", in the person of Honourable Omosede Igbinedion.

Like a good chess player, we are of the belief that the good friend of the current Liberian President, ex-top footballer, Mr George Tawlon Weah, is a firm believer in the time honoured saying that says "A stitch in time saves nine", at least that's the storyline the picture above is painting.

So as not to be caught napping or trying to begin to do things in a hurry when the time comes, she seem to be a student of another saying of the sages which emphasizes that "A long ago predicted war, wouldn't ever kill or catch napping a smart cripple with wisdom". So maybe in order not to be caught unprepared, madam "Rep" has thought to prepare long long ahead for what she wants to win, at least that's the story that the picture above seems to paint.

YET MORE PREDICTIONS/PROPHESIES-THIS TIME FROM FATHER MBAKA- CONTEST IN 2019 AT YOUR PERIL!

Seems like President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, better referred to as PMB might have lost a very sizeable percentage of the goodwill, he had that swept him in to become the President of Nigeria and that he even enjoyed afterwards.

Since he came to power, it hasn't been easy at all and many of those who had apparently stuck out their necks for him have since lost confidence in him and may have begun to sing a new tune.

One of those who might have helped him to get the votes that swept him in by his pronouncements then, was the Catholic priest by name Father Ejike Mbaka. His then pronouncements landed the priest in some sort of soup, which led to him being posted away from his former domain to another, which was like him starting all over again.

All that had happened to the man of God didn't affect him in anyway, as he has remained very vocal still. He has had the cause to be as vocal against some inactions of this present administration, just like he was very vocal against the one before this. And so like he predicted certain things, which came to past against the Goodluck administration and the PDP- that Goodluck Jonathan was going to be defeated in 2015, he has some monumental predictions for the present President and by extension his party the APC.

He addressed a mammoth crowd during his New Year ministration, where he spoke at length and addressed certain issues and people.

I had wanted to pray for you and go because I don’t want anybody to attack me; I don’t want the Bishop to invite me; I don’t want politicians to attack me anywhere. But God forced me, you must say it. Listen to me. 2017 became one of the most horrible years in this country and that is the message.

The Lord says, Nigerians, he says, captive Nigerians, you will be speedily rescued; Nigerians, things are very very difficult, hard and tough nowadays; the hardship is not from God, they are man made; the wicked cabals and satanic agents in this country have wickedly kidnapped the goodwill and good intentions of Mr. President, Muhammadu Buhari; his good intentions have been kidnapped; President Buhari must wake up and sit up immediately or…heaven demands him, heaven demands Buhari, our President to change all those who are holding and caging him in captivity; if he will not change them, he will be changed; Mr. President wake up; sit up; God said you are toying with the privilege given to you; there is no time; Nigerians are dying in your hand; people are not happy with your system. Change or you will be changed; God said that Buhari is in trouble; Buhari is hypnotized; Buhari is in a horrible bondage; Buhari’s mantra has been canibalized. Unless President Buhari quickly and strategically, positions the right people and changes the former ones he inaugurated by him, the wind of change that he himself inaugurated will blow him away shamefully. The wind will be too strong that Mr. President and the cabal will be blown out of office shamefully. The wind will be irresistible for it will come like a hurricane. Buhari can handle this problem but number one, his office, if he is not careful, another will take.

WHATEVER IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH IBB? AILING HEALTH NOW SO OBVIOUS!

The question above we believe needs some kind of answers. The once very bubbly ex-military President of Nigeria has since become a main shadow of his former self now. Long gone is that super healthy glow for which the handsome man was very well known for, that has now been replaced with with a much sunken cheeks, and some form of paleness which is an evidence of his inner wellbeing. Even to the extent that he moves around with walking sticks.

A much more older General and his former boss, in the person of General Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo is still gallivanting around with much vigor in his steps, not necessarily showing his age, so whatever is ongoing with retired General IBB, it must be seriously debilitating.

We once read a prediction or so called prophecy, by an American based Nigerian prophet about a year or so ago, who claims that 2019 (a year the prophet claims IBB cannot go pass), would most definitely be a monumental year in the life and existence, of the self acclaimed evil genius, also better known as the Maradona, majorly because of his dribbling ability, which is based on his antecedence at changing his words at will.

But even with the fact, that he seem somewhat emaciated and not in the best of health, he still controls an unbelievable cult like followership of men and women of major influence in the country, so much so that when major decisions about the country needs to be taken, he and a few others are still the first to be contacted and consulted.
