The Landmark Lagos engagement and traditional wedding event or that part of the event was a massive occasion, with all expected trappings. All the society bigwigs et al, royal fathers, business men and women, friends and family members and more showed up in good numbers to make it a memorable occasion in support of a jolly good fellow, in former banker turned property magnate in the person of Mr Stephen Bisi Onasanya and his adorable wife Helen.

The part 2, which was the white wedding like we had already informed was a destination wedding affair and it was in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates over the weekend. Compared to the Lagos event, it was a more modest affair in every way, in sheer size, guest list etc but even at that it didn't lack in class or distinction at all, as it was still topnotch and very stylish at that.

The handsome groom Tolulope adopted to wear a white smart looking tuxedo over a black pant, the simple and very classy wedding outfit worn by the bride Oluwakemi only let her all round gorgeousness just flow out the more without it getting submerged in some voluminous wedding dress/outfit which normally takes the whole attention instead of the person wearing it.

All in all, it all looked like a stupendously classy affair in a very idyllic location.

The Landmark Event Centre Victoria Island Lagos venue as we had predicted was very colourful and totally upscale. You must remember that the colours of the day was quite unique, daffodil Yellow and copper gold on one side, and metallic silver and multi-sequin on the other side.

As expected the guests were superbly gaily dressed. An A-class party in Lagos is always an opportunity for dress up. So style met style, just as elegance intertwined with panache, it was a classic display of oomph all round, as expected it was the opportunity to also display their precious stones for all to see and savour.

A ceremony hosted by a former MD/CEO of one of the biggest financial institutions in Nigeria turned property magnate is most definitely a big deal. So the high powered and the well connected came in torrents and gathered at the venue to celebrate with one of their own. A few of those at the event, which is the part 1 as the part 2 is slated for Dubai in the UAE were Her Excellency, wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Olufunsho Amosun, Ooni Adimula of Ife, H.I.M Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, H.R.M Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, the Olowo Eko, the Elegushi of Ikateland, H.R.M Alaiyeluwa Oba Saheed Babatunde Elegushi, Dr. Oba Otudeko, billionaire businesswoman, Hajia Bola Muinat Shagaya, Minister for Finance, Kemi Adeosun and very many others.

Entertainment was provided by the awesome Shuga Band and the ultimate Omo Alhaji- YCEE.

EX-FIRST BANK MD/CEO BISI ONASANYA & WIFE SET FOR A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING FOR FIRST SON

It has undoubtedly been a super wedding month/season already, though we have only just gotten to the 4th month of 2018. Already some of the biggest weddings of the year have taken place, but much more are still on the way though.

One of those set to host very many to another first class wedding, (traditional wedding) come this weekend, Saturday, March 31, 2018 to be more precise, from 2pm is none other than former top banker, in fact ex-MD/CEO of the first Nigerian  bank, First Bank PLC, in the person of Mr. Stephen Olabisi Onasanya, who from being an award winning banker has now become a budding property magnate. He is the owner of "The Address Homes", a first class estate/property company, which already has under its belt about 100 units of first class, top notch, 7-stars apartments and more are still on the way. Some of these units are located inside Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The families of "Bisi and Helen Onasanya", via their first son "Damilola Tolulope Onasanya" would be joined together in traditional wedding (engagement) this Saturday with the families of "Chief Razak Tunde Lawal and that of Mrs. Florence Irona Lawal", via their beautiful daughter "Surat Oluwakemi Lawal".

If what the Onasanya's did a few years ago at the wedding of their daughter is anything to go by, then this traditional wedding is going to be awesome in all ramifications, especially as this is the wedding of their first son.

Venue of the wedding is the Landmark Event Centre, VI extension and the event would be starting at 2pm, while Reception holds at the same venue immediately after the ceremonies.

The colours of the day on both sides are "Daffodil yellow with copper gold and metallic silver with multi sequin", how people come up with these colours for occasions/events would forever baffle us.

After the traditional wedding which would be totally off the hook and very colourful, by the looks of things in Lagos, Nigeria then it's off to Dubai, the UAE the week after for a super classy destination white wedding, that would be in a class of its own.
