So they had kept all the information about the wedding ceremonies hush-hush for those they didn't want to come, but as your neighborhood good snoop that we are, we were able to know that the engagement/traditional wedding was done on Thursday and that the actual wedding was on Saturday, April 13, 2019 and then the private party of all private parties, Groom's party was on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in Ikoyi, Lagos. Party still ongoing as this report was published.

The duo had apparently decided that it was better to have a so called 'low profile' wedding ceremony in quote than a loud celebrity one with all the attendant noise. What with Aigbovbioise being in his 40s, that's middle or late 40s say about 48 at that and Funke doing this same thing a 2nd time around and clocking about 35. So though devoid of the so called 'expected razzmatazz' like Funke's 1st one that was extremely loud for a purpose, like Nigeria's own version of Princess Diana got married then, it was still class and distinction all the way. But we heard that to enter the Oriental Hotel, Lagos venue of the Saturday part of the event was like a camel 🐫 passing through the eye of the needle! The security to say the least was 'unbecoming'. That party from what we heard was more of a Fowler thing. Though if these series of ceremonies are what people generally refers to as 'low profile', then it beats hands down, many of the very loud ones then without a shadow of doubt.

This one & by that we mean the couple like you all already know very well, is good money jam super good money ooooo, so equation is balance all the way as it is 1-1 scoring draw. This dude here, by name Aigbovbioise is not in any way reliant on daddy's funds at all, you can easily follow his trail and see that the University of Buckingham graduate has risen gradually to the pinnacle of his career and his still growing. Funke's dad on the other hand, is probably one of Nigeria’s 'most liquid' Nigerians alive, as he heads the FIRS-that is, 'Federal Inland Revenue Service', one of the cash cows of the Federal Government, a station where he has performed magic, having left the LIRS-'Lagos Inland Revenue Service', where he had shown great mettle at delivering very well on the job. Funke on her own is quite a successful Fashion/lifestyle Entrepreneur. "Aig the younger" like we prefer to call Aigbovbioise (he is the last born of 4 kids of Pa Frank Aig-Imoukhuede the renowned veteran journalist, poet & playwright), was named after his 'paternal grand-dad' of yore, the Late Pa Isaac 'Aigbovbioise' Imoukhuede, who had passed on since May 1, 1938 long before any of Pa Frank's 4 kids-'Erekpitan, Aigboje, Oluwakemi & Aigbovbioise' were born and on his own, Aigbovbioise is a super okay dude by all standards, but he is also backed by an older brother, the 2nd born child & 1st son at that, who is a super multimillionaire in good currency by name- Aigboje, the 'former CEO of one of Nigeria’s top 5 banks in terms of all ramifications, that's talking about Access Bank Plc and who was also the former President of the 'Nigerian Stock Exchange' and he is currently the chairman of 'Coronation Capitals', the owners of the 'Coronation Group', owners of 'Coronation Merchant Bank', 'Wapic Insurance Plc' & other investments. The elder Aig's (AIG the elder) London home/mansion in a very tush area is said to be a statement in absolute class (that's a story for another day though). And then also Aig's 2nd sister 'Oluwakemi Balogun', infact his immediate elder sister, a business tycoon, is the wife of 'Bolaji Balogun', the MD/CEO of 'Chapel Hill Denham', one of 'Nigeria’s top 5 financial advisory services firm', who is the gentleman 1st son of the 'incredibly stylish banker of note and head or leader of the Omoobas (princes) in Ijebu', the one and only, "Otunba Olasubomi Balogun". So though Funke is coming in big, her man is also very well sat too in all ways & manners.

This Sunday Ikoyi party was an epic one by all standards. It held somewhere in Ikoyi, more accurately at a private property owned by Aigboje on Gerrard Road, Ikoyi Lagos and the color of choice or of the day was 'Cobalt-Blue', which we heard reliably was supplied by none other than Temilade Remi-Adeoye of 'Kwamule Fabrics', who since she came on the scene has become the go to for the best fabrics for all occasions and events in Nigeria. Her store we hear is the mecca as people storm the place to source for exquisite fabrics of distinction for their parties, events & occasions.

According to our findings, this party was more of the Imoukhuede's thing unlike that of Saturday. It was the groom's after wedding party packaged and sponsored by Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, the elder brother of the groom. Though a private party, it had KSA, yes that's the King himself on the bandstand performing and dazzling all. He always still does his thing, when it is the highest caliber of society that's involved and this combo the Imoukhuede's and Fowler's perfectly fits into that mold. When an Aliko Dangote, a Jide Sanwoolu, Prince Dapo Abiodun  Wale Tinubu et al are at a party how more upscale can a party be? But it just wasn't KSA on the bandstand though, there was also that American singing group of yore by name '112' that were also there to entertain too to the delight of all. The quartet wore a white native attire of Buba & Sokoto to perform a medley of their hits. Though much more mature now, they still gave a great account of themselves, singing and at the same time stepping to the beats in tandem. They used to be one of the best R&B group then in the early 2000s. Then also there to perform was the rave of the moment, the super talented Teni, this gal Don blow ooooo ooo, we especially loved how she sang that her popular song where she mentioned Dangote, "but my papa no be Dangote" to the richest black man in the world, who laughed in delight, as the smart gal changed the lyrics claiming Dangote now has a new daughter!

ON THAT CHIOMA GOOD HAIR BEAUTIFUL 5 BEDROOM EXQUISITE PENTHOUSE IN IKOYI

You can be making all the money in the world and be foolish. You can have all the opportunities in the world to advance yourself and still be foolish enough not to take advantage of it. You can be surrounded by grace, and still be wallowing in abject poverty. It is the wisdom to take advantage of the not too many opportunities around one or that comes ones way, that separates the smart from the stupid, the knowledgeable from the knuckleheads. So like they say, always do your best to make hay while the sun is still shining. For your future could depend on it.

Maybe the assertion above most likely, may be the guiding principle by which Chioma Ikokwu, that's Kika's other very stylish partner seem to be living by. Instead of just only designer bags, shoes and clothes alone, which are good, at least temporarily that is, she has gone a step further and has thought to invest and in fact invest very well too to secure her future. While some were somewhat skeptical about the purchase, others just thought maybe it was just another PR stunt. We can tell you categorically well that, o yes she got a penthouse for herself.
And it's a 5-bedroom, well appointed (fully fitted) place at that.

And according to our Intel, the place was in fact paid for in [full], without any kobo being owed anyone anywhere. According to the verifiable available gist, the bulk of the money for the penthouse was actually provided for by Chioma herself, while her dad is reportedly said to have supported her with the remaining. How anyone would have thought that a highly cerebral Chioma Ikokwu, a barrister-at-law from a good university abroad, who also has her Masters, that's (LLM) in International Environmental Law and Commercial Arbitration wouldn't be smart to handle her business(es) baffles one.

To know whether it is actually possible for the duo to have made money or are still making  money from their hair business we did a little digging. Theirs actually, is a growing lifestyle conglomerate that's into hair, a business we hear people make good money from, have made crazy money from and still making making money from. Hair goes from as low as N100,000 upwards depending. And they seem to have a large number of customers too. Their tentacles from what we hear is not just limited to Lagos, Nigeria alone but they were existing in London earning Pounds, before they came to Nigeria too. So it's a combination of Naira and Pounds.

From just selling hair, a virtual goldmine at that, ask Akunna & others doing the same lucrative business and making good millions from it. And the duo have done this hair business since 2009 meaning a whole decade of reaping. So if they were smart enough, they should have a sizeable amount in savings that can afford them good luxury at any time, if they want. But not just relenting with just selling hair, they also opened allied businesses too to add value as multiple income stream. They have a hair salon, a restaurant & lounge and to add to it, they are landlords too, as they have tenants in their complex (building) who pays them rents too. If they have invested wisely, smartly and well over the years, especially because of good patronage mennnnnn!!! they sure might be rolling in dough already!

So buying just one penthouse isn't strange or is it??

The surprising thing though is that both of the ladies he is sandwiched in between are the ones on his case, not necessarily the other way around as expected. Who are these his 2 love interests, who would murder, do whatsoever to have him for keeps as theirs alone? They are 2 very exciting ladies by all counts. Both very popular at that.

While one is super light complexioned, the other's is not that much at all. On one side is this mixed race, divorced mother of a few kids still pretty young at that, who used to be in the exciting world of entertainment before she got married to a renowned filthy rich lothario, who had married several times over before marrying her. She was involved with a young friend of a known entertainer, who passed accidentally and unexpectedly not too long ago. His passing raised a whole lot of hoopla, but has since gone with the wind. Madam's body is Miami constructed by some of the best plastic surgeons in America and it is to die for, one can even say a work of art as the doctors finished their trainings on her! Her body we would repeat is awesome, the type that would awaken crazy desires in the body of an abbot or Reverend gentleman sworn to celibacy!

Since she got divorced from her ex-husband, whose rovung eyes are legendary, she has gone totally haywire, doing what she has always loved to do, but couldn't do much for lack of freedom. But with freedom now, she does her game with unbridled gusto. POLICE SET TO INVESTIGATE THE CAUSE OF DEATH OF DBANJ'S ONE YEAR OLD SON

It has been a very sad few days since the unfortunate and avoidable death of the handsome son of D Banj and his wife, Daniel Oyebanjo III. The unfortunate demise came about as the one year old drowned inside the indoor swimming people at his parents home in Ikoyi on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Since the sad occurrence was confirmed, most especially by the father of the baby who was far away in America attending the BET Awards 2018 when the unfortunate event occured, it has been an avalanche of outpouring of emotions from all over, as friends, fans, colleagues etc have been sending in their messages of condolences, commiserating with the musician and his family over the painful, so Untimely loss. Daniel the 4rd only just clocked a year old in May of 2018, that's a few weeks ago and the birthday was so very well celebrated.

Even the Police have not been left out too in sending their condolences. But just as they have commiserated with the star and his family over the sad loss, they have also confirmed they would be investigating the unfortunate incident also to find out the remote cause of the sad occurrence, they even released a statement towards their intention thus-

THE SUDDEN DEATH OF LITTLE DANIEL

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, on behalf of officers and men of Lagos State Police Command, wishes to commiserate with the family of Mr and Mrs Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo a.k.a D’BANJ on the death of their one year old son, Daniel (Jnr) Oyebanjo whose sad event took place yesterday 24/06/2018, at the Ikoyi-Lagos residence of the family.

The CP wants the family to know that at this period of their grief, the entire Command shares in their pain.

Although a delegation from the Command, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ikoyi Division, CSP Mustapha N’Abba, who were at the Ikoyi home of the Oyebanjos on a condolence visit did not meet anyone at home, it is expected that when the mourning period is over, the family will formally report the circumstances that led to the unfortunate death of little Daniel to the police. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

It began last week and would run through this week, ending with a bang on Sunday with some top class entertainment. King Sunny Ade and many of our in the moment top artistes and stars have performed at various times, so it's very likely some big artistes would end the annual tournament again this year too.

Polo is not called the "king of games or the "game of kings" just for fun. It's because the patrons of the game are not mere men, but mostly very liquid men. Reason for that basically is that to even afford the horses used to play the game alone is no beans! So in most parts of the world, those who own teams and play the game are the wealthy. Those who have the means but who don't participate actively by playing, buy the best players and horses to play for them. So like it obtains around the world, so also in Nigeria too.

Some of those horses you see people riding like they are notgnot can build a house or buy some normal cars!

ABOUT THAT DAPO ABIODUN WORLD CLASS, HIGH OCTANE BIRTHDAY SHINDIG & THE OPENING OF 12 TEMPLE

As was expected, it was world class, 5-star plus in all ramifications. The big boy dude known for his awesome taste and class, didn't in anyway disappoint at all. Truth is, we had wanted to blast the pictures here and waited to get them, but alas we couldn't lay hands on them pictures, so we have thought to give you the gist and paint you the happenstance as they occurred.

The venue of the birthday was Dapo Abiodun's new baby, 12 TEMPLE in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. And like was expected, it was supremely well appointed. What else could one have expected though, for a place where the high and mighty, the tall and influential, the social juggernauts, the well heeled dandies and cognoscenti, the movers and shakers would converge, it had to be top notch, nearly 7-stars if need be.

Those who came were all well impressed, so much so that the revebrations about the night has still not subsided. Building was painted immaculate white, decor was sumptuous and tasty, not gawdy at all. None of those overly "sexified" ladies looking for pickups were in attendance . All was classy and respectable.

MOJI OLAIYA SET FOR BURIAL AT EBONY VAULTS IKOYI

All things being equal, baring any unforeseen snag of any kind, the remains of very much loved late actress and mother of 2, Moji Olaiya would arrive, Lagos, Nigeria on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

On that same day, a memorial and artiste night in her honour would be held at the Blue Roof event place at LTV 8, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, starting from 4pm. Those to attend are adviced to wear black corporate outfits.

She would be committed to mother earth at the Ebony Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos the very next day which is Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

According to the information passed across by the person in charge of media/publicity team of the burial committee, Mr. Yomi Fabiyi, the late actress's body would arrive the country in company with her 3months old baby, who she had only given birth to in February in Canada.

T-shirts for the burial are said to be available at ₦1500 each.
