Just imagine that the quest to be one of the top babes in town, one that carries the latest bags, or that wears the newest most celebrated things in town was one of the major things, behind the collapse of what was supposed to be love forever after.

The lady in question and her beau had had one of the most celebrated wedding ceremony of the year, that had all the most happening people in attendance that year. The couple and their families went all out to make the occasion one that many would remember for quite a while, the ceremony "surprisingly" was held at a venue on the mainland (both were islanders), but unlike what obtains now, that it was a mainland event, didn't dissuade many from attending.

Young husband though relatively shy, was a happening dude. Apart from being tied to the dad's apron strings, dude also had his side job hosting fun lovers and the happening crowd in partnership with a tall, light and handsome friend of his and they raked in crazy money from their endeavor. Just imagine the money made from drinks alone, their hotspot then was on a road, where a bank has nearly taken over and street name could be renamed.

The last has not been heard in the wife pummeling saga that has renowned Nigerian actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry on the receiving end.

After the actress left her home days back vowing not to return to her husband ever again over allegations of battery and assault (domestic violence), the last seems not to have been heard about the saga.

At first after the beautiful actress accused her husband of persistent violence and battery and claims that's why she wouldn't ever return to her matrimonial home, the husband in his own counter claim, as said he was not a wife batterer and as never ever been one, but now went on to accuse his wife of persistent infidelity.

The drama from what is the latest on it is that, there is the news going about on the possibility that Mr. Gentry might soon be sued or prosecuted by the state government for domestic violence. According to the gist, the agency saddled with the protection of women in the state, Lagos State Ministry of WOMEN affairs, has already begun preliminary investigation into the allegation of battery and assault depending on the outcome, Mr. Gentry might have a case on his head.

After years of pummeling nonstop, Mercy finally said no more to the drama last week. She is said to have been the one that reported the case of battery and assault herself at the ministry.

We came across the video above by a pastor of a church and we thought it was great and good for us to watch and then respond.

The main thrust of his strong message, which many who understands would refer to as strong meat is that "the house of God, that is church is been brought to ridicule" & that the altar is been desecrated. Some who don't understand spiritual matters would be quick, to poo poo or belittle what the man has voiced out. In this era of conformity and blending, cracking jokes in the church is seen as nothing, some even claims that God is a joker! A very absurd and terrible thing to say about God, for it denotes unseriousness.

The times we are living in now is supposedly the era of grace, so some things are supposedly allowed especially, many of those things considered as sacred is now brought so low. To not conform is seen as being stiff.

The pastor went on to buttress his points, asking if any comic/comedian can go to the shrine of Osun the water goddess or the mosque or a place where the Moslems worship to be cracking jokes?

It is that time as a Christian that those who profess to be one, need to carry their flags? They need to speak out and show on which side of the divide that they are standing on?

Is this like the call made by Moses at a time on Israel that afterwards judgement came immediately, when Korah, Dathan and Abiram did what was despicable?
