Contrary to the wild rumours of his sudden demise after battling ill health due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, that he is even still fighting as we speak we can let you all know for a fact that the 70 plus year old former Executive Governor of Oyo State and recently approved acting national chairman of the APC is not dead!
Yes he is ill and battling to get better, but he is very alive and not dead at all. He was said to have relapsed into coma at a point, but was said to have woken up from it too. So rumour mongers spreading unpalatable news of his demise should shut up and let the man fight to recover his health in peace.
Even his aide Mr. Bolaji Tunji has come out to strongly debunk the crazy rumours thus-

Also Salihu Yakasai, spokesman of the Kano State governor, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, also denied the rumours.
He tweeted: “Our in-law @AAAjimobi is not dead please.
Kindly disregard the rumours of his death.
He was ill but recovering well now. May Allah continue to keep him safe and sound, and prolong his life. Amin.”
Dr. Ganduje's daughter Fatima is married to the only son of Senator Abiola Ajimobi. Even Fatima herself came out to debunk the falsehood as seen in her Tweet above.
