Aremo ADESEGUN ONIRU |
The question above is what many have been asking and we can easily tell them, so many things are ahead. First and foremost he would face his many businesses and take them to the very next level, that would astound all comers. According to those who should know, the quiet and quite well loved gentleman, whose quiet philanthropy is legendary, has a trailer load of ace up his sleeves business-wise that would dazzle all comers as the years unfold. So it wasn't just all about getting the crown as it wasn't a do or die affair for him.
Even as it even concerns a royal stool, there's still the opportunity in the future to go for even a more prestigious advancement if and when the opportunity comes, but only time will tell.
The battle was fought a well and gallantly too at that, as he must be well commended for always putting decorum and maturity far ahead, as he did what he thought he should have done in vying for the stool. He had every right as a well tutored, well nurtured blue blood to have wanted to sit on the royal stool of his forbears. So he did only what was expected of him!
Iruland would never ever forget what his clan did for her in a hurry, as his direct grandpa and his dad were very instrumental to the development of the area from just a slum that it used to be about 30 or more years ago, to what it is now, an arena of the liquid and quite well to do and the elevation of a former high chieftaincy stool to that of a first class royal stool it became just a few decades ago, in fact this particular stool is somewhat rated as just the 2nd in hierarchy after that of the Eleko of Eko, which is better known or better referred to as the Oba of Lagos stool, presently occupied by his highly respected royal majesty Alaiyeluwa Oba Riliwan Osuolale Akiolu, who is reputed to be one of the Wealthiest kings in Nigeria.
According to those who should know, Oba Akiolu is perhaps one of the top 3 wealthiest royal fathers in the South West of Nigeria and by extension one of the top 7 wealthiest in the whole of Nigeria. His shares at one of the big communication's giant alone is in hundreds of millions worth! That's just that alone! Now just imagine other sources and maybe also his staggering properties portfolio too.
If for any reason in the future to come that the seat/stool/crown needs another able personality to be installed, after the present King must have attained a very old age, the Aremo if he so wishes and is even interested can vie for it. This is so because the Oniru royal family can. They are one of the royal families of Lagos who can vie for the stool of Oba of Lagos! They are in fact one of highly respected white caps chiefs, in fact the most elevated of the white cap chiefs for that matter, one of the kingmakers that makes the decision on who next can wear the crown.
So the future is not bleak at all in any way or manner! In fact there's so much to fall back on, that's not in any in any way suffering at all. So we clink our champagne filled glasses to a beautiful, most well assured future to come.
