MANGO'S SUPERLATIVE OCTOBER 1ST SALES NIGHT
Global brand Mango last night (October 1,2010) put together one of the most superlative sales night so far in their series to reward customers, don’t know if it was because it was the same day as the 50th year celebration of Nigeria, but many guests/clients came and it was sales galore, the nights show from (8pm till 11pm) was in partnership with top celebrity make up brand Tara makeovers, and it was helped put together by top stylist Omoyemi Akerele, and there was even a mini fashion parade with models acting as life mannequins, there was much champagne to sip and much finger food to go round as people mingled,back-slapped, munched and bought. The guest lists includes-top fashion designer Ohimai Atafo, Zac Opara , former longest reigning Miss Nigeria ever Eme Maya Lawani, top actress Bimbo Akintola and many other guests who came had a fantastic time. The brand MANGO opened its 1st store in Lagos, Nigeria on December 17,2009 at the Palms mall, Lekki-Epe expressway and since it opened barely a year ago it’s been one good news after the other, first the Mango sales world record was broken in the first week of the franchise opening, and after then the world class Abuja branch got opened at the fabulously beautiful and humongous Silverbird galleria, Abuja and already plans are on to open 3 more fantastic branches across the country, one would be ready by the middle of 2011 at IKEJA at the new mall been built adjacent to the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja , the other one is planned for the Eastern part of the country and another would be opening in Kano before the end of 2011. So Mango is planning a full scale Nigerian domination and the customers are the happier for it.The Mango brand began it's spanish armanda kind of spread in 1984 when the first store was opened and since then it has opened in excess of about 1,270 stores in about 93 countries and still counting.
