Ambode: A Bull in a China Shop - Olawale Olaleye

If after watching Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s world press conference, which concluded a few minutes ago and you still did not think he is unworthy of a second chance, then, you are corruptly limited in your understanding of the inherent issues that are standing imposingly against this churlish governor.

Let’s start with his demeanor. It was very ungubernatorial. There is no debating that. His utterances were totally uncouth, childish and boorish. He left even the undiscerning without any jot of doubt that he is what he currently is: a bull in a china shop – evidently frustrated.

For the short period that the news conference lasted, coupled with the fact that the question and answer session might have been ‘arranged’ as it is always the style, I was glued to the screen observing only his countenance and the environmental nuances and all I saw was a man very well determined to destroy whatever it was that he met in the party and the government in the name of a second term, which is not a right but privilege.

Of course, it clearly does appear that he is unable to distinguish between right and privilege and by crossing the line of decency whilst struggling to make his warped points, thus unrestrainedly throwing impossible darts at his opponent, says a lot about who he truly is. He has been misconstrued all along. Whoever prepped him for that session is a disaster in public relations and image management.

Imagine a governor saying an opponent from the same party, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was once at a rehab? The same Ambode alleged to have a case file at a psychiatric centre during the 2014 campaigns and the entire party formation rallied round him? But he had the indecency of reckless abandon to land such a hard punch.

He didn’t stop there. He also regaled us with the story how Sanwo-Olu once spent fake dollars in the US and was arrested. But how come he was quick to forget he allegedly defaulted in the payment of a mortgage, aside other immoral details of his escapades that were considered unbefitting of a governorship candidate but ‘killed’ for his ambition to thrive?

For me, Ambode just confirmed a saying in Yoruba that where a family still savours a modicum of peace, do not celebrate; it is only so because the one child in that family with questionable paternity is yet to attain puberty. So, Ambode is willing to watch APC die, because the party that gave him the opportunity to be governor, when he was the least qualified asks him to stand down this second term?

Put differently the fact that Ambode is the sitting governor of Lagos State, he is on every count at a disadvantage in this battle and those with him are sure losers. Lest he forgets, the party can on account of this poorly conceived press conference expel him and that would be the end. What would follow is an impeachment and heaven would not fall.

Whichever way, he has brazenly declared a war on the party and should not expect the party not to fight back. Running to Abuja is in itself an error. Abuja didn’t make him governor. If he had expected that those who made him governor the first time would listen to Abuja to grant him re-election, then, he is both a joker and a learner.

It is common knowledge that Abuja can barely stand his benefactor, Bola Tinubu, the man who did not know him from anywhere before making him governor. So, conceding such a sensitive decision to them would mean, Ambode wouldn’t need to check with his estranged benefactor again on anything. He would simply bypass him and take orders from Abuja since he owes his second term to them. Honestly, he has proven to be unworthy of that seat, let alone, secure a re-election.

That press conference was meant to be his ace. He had a rare opportunity to not only secure more public sympathy, but reset the mood in the APC. But he blew it all and set the stage for a battle he had long lost. He is naturally a terrible person. He just proved me right.

Everything about his disposition justifies this position. He is an ungrateful lot and innately dreadful. His desperation is akin to that of the anti-Christ and has taken a step that would destroy everything he ever stood for. Never again would the name – Ambode – resonate in the annals of the body polity. Too petty to be called governor.

Importantly, the person to pick the greatest lesson here is Asiwaju Tinubu. Perhaps, Babatude Fashola’s words on marble: ‘May our loyalty never be tested’ would begin to convey instructive meanings to him. He did not know Ambode from anywhere, but he bought into his idea just because one of his trusted allies, Prince Eludoyin, recommended him.

Today, even the said Prince Eludoyin is no longer in talking terms with him. Ambode must be a helplessly terrible lot. Yet, for a man he could not vouch for, Tinubu left those who had been with him since 1999 and went for a total stranger. Good for him!

Pray he comes out of this unhurt, he must have learnt his lessons the hardest way. Please, make no mistake – Ambode has gone on this offensive, because he probably has something with which he plans to finish off Tinubu and co as he forges ahead in this battle. He doesn’t plan to go down alone. He intends to drag one or two persons with him.

Therefore, the days ahead promise to be interesting, and even more so, this current Lagos drama offers a rare lesson in political godfatherism. I know Ambode has so many hidden supports unknown to the Tinubu group, including Abuja and some former governors and their allies alike, but I also know for sure that this is one battle Ambode cannot win and I can hedge my biggest bet ever.

He is not even anywhere close to the inner caucus that ordinarily delivers the most intricate political assignments in the state. Indeed, Ambode does not know or cannot explain how he even emerged governor of the state. Some people delivered that job and that is the ace that Tinubu and his clique have over him.

Sadly, Ambode is too deceived by his current place of advantage to know that he is not an asset. Even if he quits the APC and leaves for another party, a character like him with awful attitudinal disposition is not what anyone or party can put forward as a poster face. His rebellion will only heighten the stakes and increase the frenzy of intrigues in the state; it would change nothing about the status quo, ultimately.

Even if Asiwaju’s empire would be rested eventually, it is not now let alone an even worse character like Ambode with utterly defective human relations that would orchestrate that! The earlier he knows this, the better. But then, we shall wait to see how you’d pull this off tomorrow, Governor Ambode, since you see not your palpable failings but overrated stellar performance amidst this crass elevation of mediocrity.

TIME TO RESPECT THE PEOPLE OF LAGOS STATE AND THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR

The man, Hon. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu the MD of the LSPDC and one of those expected to contest the Governorship Primaries of the APC tomorrow, that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the current executive Governor of Lagos attacked at his world press conference today, has thought to dignify the salacious allegations of the Governor with a reply.

Hear him below-

Let it be heard by all that I hold the people of Lagos state with great respect and affection. Their welfare is my utmost concern and it is what drives my pursuit for the governorship nomination of the APC.

As such, I also hold the office of governor of our state in high esteem. I shall never consciously do anything that will undermine the dignity of the office nor will I engage in personal attacks against the holder of that officer. My pursuit of office will continue to be based on issues that matter to Lagosians and not on attacks against someone’s character, even when he attacks mine. For anyone to engage in unwarranted character attacks against me, reveals more about that person’s character than it says about mine.

Thus, I felt sad for Lagos as I watched Press Conference by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. Many things he said was beneath the dignity of our people and the exalted office he now holds. Perhaps the tension and anxiety of the moment got the better of him. If given a chance at a cooler reflection of what he said, I am sure he would regret his descent into such low conduct. In this vein, I forgive him and hope he regains his balance and proper comportment no matter the outcome of tomorrow’s contest. After all, we are both here to improve Lagos not to wrestle in its streets.

However, I must clear up some inaccuracies in the Governor’s statement. His allegation of that I was arrested for spending fake dollars at a nightclub in the United States was untrue. In fact, the governor knows I travelled to the United States just last month. I would not have been allowed to travel or even get a visa if I had been involved in what the Governor falsely alleged.

That the Governor claimed I underwent some unidentified type of “rehabilitation” at the Gbagada General Hospital was also shameless and untrue. Promulgation of salacious rumour should not be part of the job description of a governor.

This is not the stuff of high office. People should question whether itis ethically right for the Governor to turn what should be confidential medical information about a citizen into a weapon of political warfare? But for the avoidance of doubt, let it be stated that I never received any treatment whatsoever at the Gbagada General Hospital.

Today, instead of making a convincing defence of his performance, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode sought to sow fear into the hearts of Lagosians.

But Lagosians are intelligent and brave people. They can see through the smoke and the fog. I am here not to tear my opponent down but to help build Lagos up.

With me, you will hear about progress in education, health, sanitation, proper tax levels, economic development, infrastructure, jobs, public services and other things that enhance the lives of people. I am a serious person and this primary is a serious matter. I have not the time or inclination to attack character when there are so many real issues to address.

We will continue to focus on the issues that matter in the lives of the people of Lagos.

Lagosians want an answer to the sanitation crisis cast loss of jobs caused by Mr. Ambode’s Visionscape misadventure. Our people will want to know why Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has not been able to build a single General Hospital in the State when his immediate predecessor Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) built 11 General Hospitals. Lagosians are waiting to hear what our solutions are. They want to know why hundreds of competent civil servants got summarily dismissed and how this has undermined public services.

As a candidate for the party’s nomination and hopefully as your next governor, my approach will not be to sling insults but to propose solutions to the problems of the day.

AMBODE GOES GAGA! THROWS CAUTION TO THE WIND AS HE ALLEGES SO MUCH IN BID TO DESTROY HIS OPPONENT. BOS...

In war like it has been said times without number all is fair and this adage or time honoured saying seem to be what Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has embraced in its entirety in his last ditch effort to salvage what some have called his sinking political career or ship!

In his world press conference held today not too long ago, he employed some of the most dastardly of weapons, likes of character assassination, subtle threat, innuendos etc to denigrate and tear apart his most visible opponent, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu.

Hear his claims--

That Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, is a former criminal/prisoner, in fact ex- convict, one who was once arrested for spending fake dollars in America at a club and was detained for several months!!!!!

That Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu had undergone rehabilitation before at Gbagada General Hospital,.... for what ailment? The Governor has refused to divulge. But he insinuates he has plenty more still in his arsenal to deploy, maybe in the aftermath of the expected loss at the primary tomorrow, which he claims he would still contest.

AS FAR AS APC IN LAGOS IS CONCERNED, AKINWUNMI AMBODE IS A GONER! IT IS A FAIT ACCOMPLI!!!!

Owing to all the activities that have occurred in the last few days, it is glaringly obvious that the supports that the incumbent Governor of Lagos State was seeking for, from his own party for him to be able to contest for a 2nd term in office as the Governor of Lagos State is never going to come.

From all the indications/feelers  available it is obvious that the cookies have all crumbled one by one, one after the other and there seems to be no respite in the horizon for Double A and the only thing now left for him to do, is either to dump the party that got him there or just as a loyal party man to the core, just accept his fate and be resigned to the fact that he would officially become the 1st Governor in the history of the state, to be refused the chance or opportunity to do or contest a 2nd term.

We hear though but not confirmed that, if he were to honourably step down which he has refused to do, the Governor would be given a Ministerial position in the next dispensation were the APC to win the next Presidential election.

Just yesterday, the only hope that was remaining for him to get the full support he needed was dashed as the GAC (Governor's Advisory Council), chaired by the National Leader of the ruling APC decided that the primary was it and they also unilaterally gave their support to the ambition of Babajide Olusola SANWOOLU! Not only that, one of those that had been earmarked to contest the primary that has now been shifted again till Monday, October 1, 2018, in the person of Dr. Femi Hamzat, a special adviser to the Works, Housing and Power Minister, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, who had lost to Ambode at this same stage in 2015, in fact resigned his ambition for party loyalty, by stepping down (withdrew) to now do a joint ticket with Babajide Olusola SANWOOLU. Though the joint ticket has not been officially communicated yet. Dr Femi Hamzat on stepping down, immediately endorsed the candidature of BOS!

By the action of Dr. Femi Hamzat, it means the 2 most powerful teams/families in APC Lagos politics have joined arms and hands together as one, to prosecute 1 dream! Not just that alone, at least 36 out of the 40 LSHA (Lagos State House of Assembly) members at an emergency session yesterday under the leadership of the Speaker of the house, Hon. Mubashiru Obasa all appended their signatures in their support of Babajide Olusola SANWOOLU's ambition. Their decision was communicated by the chairman House Committee on information, strategy and security, Hon. Funmilayo Tejuosho (pay back time it seems, as it was her house that the Government under the administration of Akinwunmi Ambode took over and demolished).

It should also be recalled that the Iyaloja General of Lagos, Chief. Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo had endorsed the candidature of Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, that's effectively saying that the market men and women in Lagos are solidly behind BOS. Long before the endorsement by the Iyaloja, various other groups, likes of the Waste Management and others have openly indicated their support of Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu.

It is very instructive to know the composition of the GAC that had the meeting yesterday, those at that meeting comprised of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the National Leader of the ruling APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the speaker of the LSHA, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and other stakeholders.

More after the break.

MAMA TARABA DUMPS APC & MINISTERIAL POSITION!!!!

Hajia Aisha Jumai Alhassan aka Mama Taraba

The ripples from not getting picked as one of those to contest the APC primary in Taraba State had not fully died down, before Mama Taraba, Hajia Aisha Jumai Alhassan quickly dumped her now former party the APC and immediately also dumped her Ministerial position as the one in charge of the Ministry for Women Affairs, to go pursue her dream somewhere else, which is the UDP.

With her dumping the APC, the claim now is that the APC in Taraba State might probably have become the weakest of the parties there, owing to the vast popularity of the Hajia and those that have supposedly left the APC with her too. But is it not better safe than be sorry later?

The National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole in the aftermath of the decision not to allow Mama Taraba contest the primary had come out to say, part of the reason the very popular politician wasn't allowed to contest their primary is because her total loyalty to the APC couldn't be trusted. According to him, Mama Taraba was more of APC by day and more of PDP by night, ascertaining or alluding to the fact that Mama Taraba's close friendship and support for a member of the opposition party the PDP, in the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar might actually have cost her the opportunity to contest the Governorship Primary under the APC. She did openly support Atiku Abubakar's Presidential ambition last year, while she was a card carrying member of the APC!

Responding to her not being allowed to contest the party primary, she had said "it would be out of place for her to remain as a minister in the GOVERNMENT, when the party that formed the government does not find her qualified to be a GOVERNOR".

So in dusting her foot off the APC, it is claimed that she left with not less than 7 TSHA (Taraba State House of Assembly) members, ALL the APC executives in 169 wards. And all the 16 LGA's excos to the UDP.

Curiously though she didn't move her loyalty and supporters to the PDP, but instead she and her people left for the UDP.

SALUTE TO THE GLAM GODDESS KNOWN TO ALL AS RITA DOMINIC!!!!

Lady in red, in gorgeous peplum dress

Another gorgeous red number

Blue by Tubo Woman

In her industry, that's talking about the entertainment industry, this thespian par excellence, an award winning interpreter of roles has got the game totally on the lock down!!! If you would rate top 5 most stylish of all times in that industry, she would be amongst the top 3 no doubt!!! And that says a whole lot.

We weren't mincing words when we say she is one of the very best to have come out her world. And we have also put into consideration the past, the present and we are even already looking forward to the future and we can't see very many yet, who can do it like she does it.

"Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturocha" 43 (D.O.B July 12, 1975), makes style look effortless. Like it is her 2nd nature, a part and parcel of her being. And like we have always said, for us, 'Style is not just about the dress (es) (outfits). For us it is all encompassing, a totality of the the well-being. For you can wear the best of the best and still make it look totally and unbelievably and unquestionably drab and cheap!

Style means from the hair, to the make-up, to the nails to the dress (outfit), to the carriage, to the attitude, to the steps and the sheer confidence and joy that the personage exudes, the Oomph projected, when all the elements come together and all speaking-poise, elan etc without being unnecessarily loud, the head to toe package, that for us is S.T.Y.L.E!!!

All of what we have spelled out above and more is what Rita spells and because of it, we have been absorbed totally and without a doubt in her magic and therefore we have thought to salute, without any form of reservation whatsoever.

Not only is she good at what she does, as the awards that have poured in in torrents testifies to that, she is also a perfect representation or better still representative of that world of klieglights and make belief, but the beauty of hers is that, hers is as real as you can get it, not FAKE!!

This salute to her style, is a well deserved salute to a real  entertainment style icon already in the making. She doesn't do too much and that's our trip, not for her the over indulgence of packing on too much, but what actually, gets us is the embodiment of the Parisian chic that she projects.

It is well known all over the world that the French, both men and women are some of the classiest, most stylish dressers in the world and they project that effortless charm that's inviting, which is why most would forgive their in built rudeness! It's like Rita has either studied them or she's just naturally French in her mind and this comes off in how she perfects her looks and we are mesmerised by it.

So we lift up our glass of bubbly in celebration of Ms. Rita and we ask her to take a bow, for her style and good representation.

And so we say----"Salute-Elegante....., long may your reign of exquisite gorgeousness be!!!!!!

More after the break.

PHOTO SPEAK-GOVERNOR ELECT OF OSUN VISITS ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU

Governors Akinwunmi Ambode, Rauf Aregbesola, Gov-elect Gboyega Oyetola, National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu & former Defence Minister, Musiliu Obanikoro

Aregbesola, Oyetola & Asiwaju

In unity we stand. The 3 Musketeers

A disaster that would have been of monumental proportion for the APC was averted in the State of Osun on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke of the PDP already had one hand on victory at the ELECTION, before it was snatched at the death, by the most meagre number of votes ever to determine a Governorship Election in Osun State and most probably in NIGERIA. He felt he was already coasting home, what this just tells everyone is that, it is never over until it is fully over. Anything can still happen at the dying seconds that can change the course of history!!!

The relief to the APC party as a whole, to the outgoing Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, soon to become a Senator and to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been palpable. That relief was quite obvious for all to see when the day after the run off was done & concluded, the current Governor, the Ogbeni himself was seen in public, jubilating in relief and singing a Yoruba thanksgiving song, poignant with meaning which we would interpret below.

🎶O ye ka dupe, O ye ka Dupe, Araa son⚡⛈️, atagun fe🌬️, iji ja🌪️, ko gbe wa loo, O ye ka Dupe!!!!

Which translates to "We should be thankful (grateful & full of gratitude), O we should be thankful,, ,  there was the loud rumblings of thunder and the lighting struck, the wind blew immensely, in fact the tempest (whirlwind) raged somewhat incontrollably, but in it, we weren't carted away, we are so full of gratitude and thankful!!!

The song above revealed perfectly well, how the camp must have felt and that the camp was shaken and they felt it, so what a relief to turn back the apple cart to the path it was on before again!!!

Senator Adeleke and the PDP are still raging as it were and they have a right to, as what they had thought was a sure victory, a done deal was snatched and smashed from their hands and mouth.

We are still expecting fireworks at the tribunal and courts though, in fact to the Supreme Court all the way. So even if "Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola" is sworn in like he would and should, his 1st 2 years would see him facing and dogged with litigations. A major distraction no doubt.

What the Osun election has already signposted for any smart enough to see it and understand it, is that, it is now quite obvious that the opposition seem to have woken up kind of from their slumber and are ready to fight it out! What is sure now is, if they pick the right candidates and are willing to go all the way like they did do with this Osun election, they would surely cause some major upsets here and there. What that now says is that, what used to be very assured is no more safe!

In the pictures above, outgoing Governor of the state of Osun-Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is seen here presenting the Governor elect, Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola to the National Leader of the ruling party the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Those who understands innuendos and body language would have understood what this action was all about. One thing we would have expected though would have been a picture or pictures, where all the people above would also have included the national chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Governor elect of Ekiti, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Dr. Ganduje, in fact all those who made sure this victory was certain, all of them that went to see Senator Iyiola Omisore and convinced him, including the SDP chieftain himself. It would have shown gratitude and it would also have shown a united front!!!!

SAD SAD LOSS AS SIR SAMUEL ADEDOYIN LOSES DAUGHTER-HON. FUNKE ADEDOYIN TO CANCER

Hon. Funke Adedoyin

Not the very best of news to hear at all or even at anytime, that's talking about the passing, the death, the untimely demise of any, especially when they are still young enough and still have much to contribute to their society, to their immediate families and especially their country.

And so it is with immense grief in our heart that we announce the untimely passing away of the former Minister of Health of Nigeria and the 2nd daughter of the well respected and well recognised industrialist and top businessman from Agbamu, in Kwara State, Sir Samuel Adedoyin in the person of Hon. Funke Adedoyin, 56. The painful and sad occurrence occurred today, Friday, September 28, 2018 at an Abuja Hospital.

The lawmaker, a house of representatives member, representing Irepodun, Isin, Ekiti, Oke Ero Federal Constitutency, who was a Minister under the Olusegun Obasanjo administration and a very close associate of the PDP Presidential aspirant Alh. Atiku Abubakar had battled Cancer gallantly for the past 2 years, since 2016 to be more precise. At a point she was said to have overcome the long battle and had returned back to Nigeria, only for her to have suffered a relapse 3 months ago. She died today at the hospital in Abuja.

She is survived by her dad and son and many siblings. Her younger brother Ayorinde Adedoyin is the owner of Peacegate Group and one of those contesting to become the next  Governor of Kwara State at the next election. She would be sorely missed. Till her death, she was the deputy chairman, House of Representative Committee on the Army.

May her beloved soul find rest and may God grant the family, friends and associates of the deceased the strength to bear the irreparable loss, most especially the dad who is 83 years old.

JUST 2 DAYS TO THE APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARIES, WHAT IS GOVERNOR AKINWUNMI AMBODE UP TO????

The Governorship primaries of the APC is surefootedly upcoming on Sunday September 30, 2018. After the near disaster in Osun State, where the PDP and her candidate caused a major stir and nearly carried the day, nearly upsetting the apple cart as it were, but thanks to the run-off which totally changed things, after that victory snatched from death, all the focus is now on the Governorship Primaries across board and the main attention is now focused on Lagos.

The reason for the particular focus on Lagos is not far-fetched. In an unprecedented manner, first of its kind in Lagos, the incumbent perceived to have done exemplarily well is not getting the full and rousing support of his own party to run for a 2nd term! So if things follow how it is been perceived to go, Governor Ambode is surely not doing a 2nd term.

In Lagos the incumbent, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode would be fighting a battle of survival, the most fierce battle of his life ever with 2 well grounded opponents who wants to take the baton off him and the 2 are none other than the formidable MD/CEO of the LSPDC, Hon. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and Obafemi Hamzat, 2 exceptional grassroots mobilisers.

Many had thought that someway, somehow the incumbent would have it all easy and get the flag to run for the APC a 2nd time for the 2nd term, but alas it isn't going to be and after much begging to change things and make things favourable, the other 2 have refused to step down, so it is still a straight battle between the 3.

According to our investigations it is going to be a fierce battle come the D-day, be it Saturday or Sunday. The Governor from all  indications has gotten a new form of injection and all of a sudden seem to have gotten his confidence (moho) back somewhat and from all indications, he is planning to spring a surprise on all, especially his other 2 opponents and their supporters and if care is not taken and the 2 are complacent or lackadaisical or over confident, they might not just know what would hit them until after everything has ended and then there's no going back again, but to present the winner of the primary as the flagbearer!

Already supports have risen up from many quarters, though not the usual that should normally support him and would have given him the assurance for the 2nd term. We know for a fact, that the Governor and his inner circle, which includes the cerebral Commissioner for Tourism, Steve Ayorinde, known to be a strategist would have put together some sort of foolproof plans, that would surprise all and sundry and pave the way for their man-Akinwunmi Ambode for a 2nd term.

Just 2 days to the Lagos Governorship Primary, the following is an unbiased assertion of a few of our findings though. There seem to be 2 very extreme divides of thoughts about the Governor of Lagos, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode. There are those on one side who seem to have a very strong, super strong at that dislike of him and it is with very very strong passion too and they just feel that he is all surface, but no substance, and those on this divide are very much, much of those who would normally vote. Why the Governor engenders such dislikes we do not know.

While on the other side, there are those strongly passionate about the Governor, his achievements and works till date, incidentally they are in the minority, not in very large numbers like those on the other side, but what they seemingly lack in numbers they seem to pack very well in strong passion, even to the near extreme and it's  like they have the resources for the battle, plenty of it, enough to play with that, if you understand what we mean!

As we speak we hear that lots of jostlings and arrangements are going on, and we have even heard that financial inducements of extraordinary proportion may also have been a good weapon that's been deployed. Though a particular 5 billion plus supposedly dispatched to some have gained some traction since yesterday those particularly named to have gotten that package, have vehemently denied such a thing ever happened. In fact they have denied in very strong terms at that, that such an inducement never happened!

This is actually that time of the season where those who are perceived to be influencial are smiling home gladly to the banks as their supports are being sort for.

So without the support of the Mandate Group and the Justice Forum, both of which are the 2 largest support groups in Lagos, and both of who are firmly behind Sanwoolu and Hamzat, can Ambode still do the impossible, by springing a monumental surprise???

MARRIED MOTHER OF 4 WHO IS AN UNREPENTANT SIDECHIC & WANTON!!!!

She is of Yoruba extraction. Tall, shapely and she is as beautiful as they come. She's got everything in their rightful place and fetching by all standards. In fact if we were to describe it better we would  have said the shape to die for in all ramifications. To add to it all, she's also an exquisite dresser too, someone who apparently understands very well the laws of draping (or drapery), by that we the mean the ability to mold those perfectly gorgeous contours or is it proportions very well in outfits that would further accentuate it. She cannot be in a place without you catching or taking a notice of her. Those her smoky eyes are so very sexy, they perpetually send out unrelenting sparks that most men cannot ever resist.

Maybe those were part of the things that have held her man, not her husband ooooo, captive all of these while!!!! To say the least she is as irresistible as they come by all accounts. One would have thought her husband was a lucky man, but alas he is just a glorified husband in name and tag, as his wife is in love with another she might be calling to his face her uncle!

We recently saw her again in her fawning glory at an event and even we ourself marveled and was totally bowled over by the raw sexual energy that she exudes magnificently. No wonder her man, again we say not her husband, but her uncle-man friend of several years running now, is in fact a very married, super liquid man at that, who seems unable to do without her, even with several others still at his beck and call!!! ! Imagine that at the party she was supposedly a guest at, she even had a change of outfits as much as even the celebrant,..... like she was the focus of attention, up and about every where like the ultimate peacock in its dazzling displaying glory!!! She carried on like the unofficial other wife in the glare of everyone.

Both girlfriend and uncle, have been a major item for many years now. Truth is, this our lady is actually known to the man's wife! She is a part and parcel of their household, but not as his long term girlfriend, for madam is known as a tigress that doesn't take no nonsense at all and would have torn her to shreds, if she knew what was going on under her very nose, but she is seen as an "acclaimed quite innocent younger sister, who is happily married and knows nor sees any evil by the wife (madam)  who also sees the younger lady as her somewhat confidante. To show the stuff what Madam is made of, she had at a time, not minding whose ox is gored, totally disgraced and embarrassed, sending away some foolish girls that she had suspected as her husband dalliances at a party in their home before.

Just imagine that madam by her own herself confides in this young snake or is it serpent, telling her nearly everything that goes on in her own household! It's like pouring water into a basket. While she outwardly acts or portrays the mien of an innocent goody two shoes, like a nun who totally believes in chastity, this mother of 4 and supposed madam's little sister, is a wanton of massive proportion, who actually also doubles as oga's babe and his consistent bed mate of many years running now!!!

So into each other are these 2 lovebirds that chairman even bought her a house in Magodo in compensation for their love a while back. That's not all at all ooooo, because of this our gorgeous lady, this ultimate boss who is known to be generous to a fault, at a point got a sizeable chunk/amount of shares in a financial institution, so as to pull weight considerably and then made sure to help move this his babe from where she was at before, a very popular financial institution very synonymous with red, whose brand name sounds like the surname of the shortest reigning Governor ever in the history of the country from the South East to another financial institution whose brand name actually refers to the center, the core, the cornerstone, the heart, the crux, the mainspring or the priority, where she got another more elevated position.

As it is now their love is waxing stronger and stronger by the day and still totally under the radar, but only known to those who should know and that's a very small circle. 4 kids & a doting husband, but B as that is the initial of the shortened form of her name which actually says add more to wealth and A as the initial of her surname, is still an unrepentant side chic per excellence!!!!

Ire oooo ooooo!!!!!!! Praaaaaaaaa! !!!!

SENATOR IYIOLA OMISORE AS THE MOST IMPORTANT MAN IN POLITICS RIGHT NOW..

Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. J. K. Fayemi, Adams Oshiomhole, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Alh Lai Mohammed

Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, incoming Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore & Olu Agunloye

Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senator Ademola Adeleke & FFK

Senator Iyiola Omisore, Dr Bukola Saraki, Mr. Omisore

Undoubtedly, the former deputy Governor of the state of Osun, in the person of Senator Iyiola Omisore is currently the over beautiful bride that everyone wants to align with and marry in Nigeria as we speak.

With the election in his state, where he has carried 3rd out of all the contestants numbering more than 40 declared inconclusive and with more of the places to determine the run off elections his enclave, he has become the most important personality right now in the scheme of things.

If no one has visited him in the last few days leading to the tomorrow given date for the run off (Thursday, September 27, 2018) to help them swing the votes, he has been visited by as high as many personalities as the current Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki of the PDP, the incoming Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, the Minister for Information, Tourism and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed, Senators Abiola Ajimobi and Ibikunle Amosun of Oyo & Ogun respectively, APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole with a few others all APC members.

We know for a fact that these several meetings were not to just discuss about buying beans or Garri, but they must have been high stakes negotiations where major agreements would have been struck to try to make things easy. As a fetching bride though, Senator Iyiola Omisore might not have gotten or laid hands on the ultimate price he was going after, but with the turn of events, he most definitely must be the luckiest Nigerian alive today as it were. For this is the opportunity of a lifetime for him to recover all that he must have invested into prosecuting his ambition to become the Governor of his state. But not just monetarily wise alone though, but just because he holds the upper hand in the negotiations, he would have also negotiated for far more things for his continuous relevance in the scheme of things too. Making sure to have a hand one way or the other in the next Government be it an APC one or the PDP one.

We would have loved to be in his shoes as it were. We are waiting with bated breath though to see the outcome of all of these clandestine moves and alignments come tomorrow as the run off would take place in 7 polling units in 4 LGAs namely Oshogbo, Orolu, Ife North and Ife South, where less than 4000 votes would determine who would become the next Governor of the state of Osun for the next 4 years.

We particularly are interested in the outcome of the election so as to weigh some of the prophesies spoken before vis a vis the final outcome of the election.

May the best man insha Allah, carry the day tomorrow.

BAD NEWS FOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA AS COURT NULLIFIES IMPEACHMENT AND REINSTATES DEPUTY

The court in Imo State might have added to the issues with the Governor of Imo State in the person of his excellency, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha as what he had thought was a finished job, when the state House of Assembly telegraphically impeached his well loved deputy, so as to render him comatose and irrelevant has somewhat backfired.

The court in Imo State has stated equivocally that the hatchet job of an impeachment was null and void and couldn't be supported by the law.

According to Justice Iheka of Court 8 of the Imo State Court of Law, the purported impeachment of Prince Eze Madumere, by the Imo State House of Assembly had no basis in law. The way and manner by which the impeachment was done is not supported by the law. So the Deputy Governor was reaffirmed and reinstated to his post with immediate effect.

With this judgement, we are too sure that the fire works would start anew again. It would be recalled that after the Deputy Governor was then impeached by 19 members of the state House of Assembly, Governor Rochas Okorocha had tried to immediately install another more placable one in his place in the name of Sir Calistus Ekenze, but the court in July of 2018 had restrained the Chief Judge of the state via an interim injunction not to swear the Governor's choice. So after that initial judgement, is this new judgement stating the status quo as it was before must be maintained.

AND SO ADEMOLA ADELEKE MIGHT HAVE DANCED TO THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE!

From how things have panned out already it seem those wondrous steps of Senator Ademola Adeleke were not just for fun at all! The way it is now, there is the likelihood that he might have carried the day already! We are also too sure that the APC never expected that it would come to this at all, they would have anticipated a straight forward near landslide victory!!!

Just imagine that as we speak, Nigeria's happiest man alive-Senator Ademola Adeleke leads by just about 300 plus votes and who says that he wouldn't win more votes on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the scheduled re-run election?

The way it is now is that Senator Ademola Adeleke and his party have already won a massive moral battle no matter the outcome of the election at the end of the day!!! Anything short of victory now might just signal a whole lot of hoopla and consequently a rejection of the whole election in its absolute entirety by the PDP & all, as they and their supporters would just shout blue murder to high heavens, even if there was no reason to do so!!!

So Rauf Aregbesola is most definitely on his way out in Osun State, as his tenure is winding up very quickly and his handpicked, preferred candidate Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola "might" have just  lost a gallant battle and might not be replacing him!!!! Fingers crossed

But alas though, all hope is not totally lost at all. With the Osogbo (not the entire Osogbo though) vote still expected on Thursday, Oyetola can still win the majority of the votes there and by that eviscerates that 300 plus lead that Adeleke has for now, but the issue is, Oyetola can never win all of the votes in that Osogbo place. The issue again also is that even if Oyetola now wins after all, which is still very possible, there is that moral issue that would forever bedevil such a win, which can be tagged medicine after death, some would even tag it rigging even if it's not so. And that's already very dicey!

Then again, there are those places in Ife, an undoubted enclave of Omisore and Femi Fani-Kayode, both of who are total enemies of the APC and both have already seen & tasted blood (idiomatically though) and so are willing to dig in viciously, going for the jugular. As it is already now, in the aftermath of the inconclusive election as stated or proclaimed by INEC, the opposition are already aligning, banding up together, forming an impressive coalition against a common enemy-the APC and her candidate-Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola.

Adeleke, Omisore and Adeoti, FFK, Saraki etc have aligned, with Omisore especially promising total support for Adeleke's cause. So all of their supporters are being mobilised to vote enmasse for Senator Ademola Adeleke to complete the job he has already begun over the weekend, so to speak.

So if what is planned actually works out in the long run, then the world should expect a mother of all parties, carnival in Africa afterwards in Osogbo and everywhere too, should Adeleke be fully declared the winner on Thursday. That humongous party would most definitely have champagne popping unabatedly, supported by full scale clinking of glasses all around. People like Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Abubakar Olubukola Saraki, Ayodele 'Peter the Rock' Fayose, Nyesom Wike and the likes would go about celebrating to the highest heaven, claiming in good part, their contributions to the unprecedented victory!!!!

That could actually signpost the most miserable time ever for the APC as a party! And it would have meant also that thunder has striken twice as initiated by same Ademola Adeleke against same Rauf Aregbesola and his anoited ones!!!!

Let's even move away from the election itself for a moment, to talk a bit about that one, the person that some are already seeing as the incoming Governor of Osun State, in the person of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke. The fun-loving man is the last born of his mother, Madam Esther Nnena Adeleke for the dad-Chief Raji Ayoola Adeleke who used to be a very prominent person, politician and labour activist in Ede, their homestead. While his father a former Senator under the UPN in the 2nd republic and high chief (Balogun of Ede 1976) was a Moslem, his mom a Christian, who actually owned her own Cherubim and Seraphim Church was Ibo.

So now you can understand majorly where the gift or Ademola's dancing and singing skills came from. The Cherubim and Seraphim sect are generally known for their love of music and dancing. So Senator Adeleke didn't just start today.

The late Serubawon, the former 1st executive Governor of Osun State and later a Senator, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was the 1st born, he is followed by the quiet billionaire businessman and father of Davido (David Adeleke) in the person of Mr. Adedeji Adeleke, who is/was the main sponsor behind his younger brother's gubernatorial ambition. It is said that one of the push for this election majorly was because, Deji Adeleke made a vow to himself that he would use his last kobo to dislodge from power those perceived to have had a hand in the untimely and unfortunate death of his lovable and fiercely supported late elder brother, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

After Deji Adeleke is the 2nd daughter in the family by name Dupe. Dupe though is the only daughter from their own mom-Madam Esther Nnena Adeleke, but they have an overall elder sister from another mom. They are though a very closely knit family. Dupe from what we heard could have been the one that the baton had fallen to, to carry on their late brother's political legacy and goodwill that they as a family had garnered over the years, but being a woman and due to some other factors, it wasn't to be. And so the baton fell unto Ademola Adeleke, who is the last born. For those who might not have known at all, all through the lifetime of the late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, especially his times in Politics, Senator Ademola Adeleke was always with him all through, so the goodwill the happy man got to win the senatorial election then was also because he wasn't just a novice, not a Johnny just come!

It is said that due to some major reasons, one of which is Adedeji Adeleke's religious leaning, he by himself would never personally participate in Politics for any reason, but that didn't or doesn't translate to that he couldn't support whomsoever he wishes to or wanted to support at any time.

So with a major reason as the motivating inspiration in the bag to motivate them, with enough money aavailable also to prosecute their ambition, with the massive support from not only Ede alone, but across the state too, it was now the time for debts to be called in, as it is said that Senator Isiaka Adeleke during his lifetime in his political sojourn had supported good candidates across board, not minding their political leanings, so long as they were good people he supported them morally, financially and otherwise. So all of these things might have been the major factors that have worked on his younger brother's behalf now. But one other major factor too though was that, everyone underestimated him!

Many had thought that the majority of the people wouldn't even take him serious, but alas now, they have found out rather too late and it might be too too late already. One other major factor that might have counted much also, might be the influence of Senator Ademola Adeleke's nephew, that is the renowned music ace Davido. In our estimate he actually might have swung a lot of the youth's vote the way of his uncle. Like we had said before, the over seriousness known in Osun might have been too much for the youths, so with a new option given, they might have though and said why not embrace something new!!!!

All in all, what this has just signposted majorly is that, you cannot neglect the people most of the time and then expect them to support you whenever you just need them! Even if Senator Ademola Adeleke might have carried the mien or semblance of someone not too serious, but that of a fun, happy go lucky fellow, just because he had appealed to the people, he got their votes and that might be carrying him to the seat of power already now! !!

So never underestimate your opponents at anytime and never ever overestimate your own value or ratings for any reason. Like it is said, pride goes before a fall. Can this 'falling' (for it is still in motion) actually be remedied or stopped????

Let's wait till September 27, 2018 to see what becomes! !!

The battle to say the least was epic!!! And when we say epic, we mean it that it was epic, on all counts and #fungalore all the way and whoever it was that came up with the hilarious  but on point idea needs to be commended very greatly and well appreciated too. It is and was a slamdunk of an idea!!!

The challenge did what it was meant to do squarely and got and directed the attention towards the movie the Merry Men. It was an ingenious type of branding idea and the brain and mind that conceptualised it must take a bow like seriouslyyyyyy!!!.

Apart from the fact that it directed attention deliberately towards something, it also directly allowed for the showcase of the incredible talents that abounds in the fashion space in Nigeria. It brought to fore, the incredible creativity and ingenuity, that was latent in many of our tailors and designers. We have never seen such numbers of wondrous and unbelievably stylish, totally on point, supremely unique agbadas before!!! And it wasn't just limited to the men alone as the agbada has always been seen as the staple of the men alone before, but many very stylish and confident ladies have had to explore wearing the outfit too and had on their own versions of the Agbada and to say the truth, they weren't shabby at all!!!! They carried it well with the required and requisite Oomph that it deserved!!!!

So here in this post, we have compiled a few of those pictures showcasing some of the best styles that impressed us greatly. From ace actor RMD in many styles slamdunking all comers, to the incredible AY pummelling and TKOing many to submission and also the likes of Falz the badguy, IK Ogbonna, Omawumi, Uriel, Antonlecky, Jim Iyke, Ramsey Nouah and very many others, we commend all of you for making this challenge very exciting and mad fun!!!

Maybe another fun and great challenge like this should come up again on something else too, that would also drive mad attention too, but would have the men and ladies go zany too!!!

More after the break.
