THE UNIPORT 4-MAN'S INHUMANITY AGAINST MAN

We woke up this morning to receive a sickening video. We had read about the story of 4 guys caught in Port Harcourt before now, but we deliberately thought to let it be. What we heard was that 4 thieves had been caught and jungle justice meted on them. Until this morning, when we had to look at the video, that we got sickened to our guts and we couldn’t hold back the tears. The four guys were naked and were beaten to near death, 2 guys in particular were so happy to break the heads of the so called thieves, who were so weak and couldn't protect themselves anymore from the deadly blows, apart from the sticks used, massive stones were also weapons.

All the while this was going on, voices in the background were heard inciting and urging those meting out the judgement to continue, that they weren't dead yet, the 4 guys had tyres on their necks, when they were thought to be weak enough or dead, they were then set on fire.

Are we in support of armed robbery or armed robbers, No! Are we in support of Jungle Justice? A resounding No! Have we lost our humanity in the face of hardship, that life has become worthless to us? How would all those there at the 'execution' ground, especially those who did the actual killing sleep at night. We hear that the 4 were killed for allegedly stealing phones and laptops. The 4- Ugonna, Lloyd, Tamunotekena & Chidiaka in their 20's were said to have been undergraduates of the University of Port Harcourt and were allegedly caught last Friday in the early hours of the morning.

We cannot post the video, but you all can see what we are talking about here- Viewers discretion advised, video is gory!!!

Is this what we have become?

Even the law can not punish so gruesomely. This is 360 degrees man's inhumanity to man!!!

anon cursing an anon has no effect. how are you different from these people who have killed? it takes a bastard to know a bastard and when you wish death on others it comes to you. typical illiterate naija attitude. using abuse to deal with abuse. sort out your anger please. may they rip. too damn sad.

No matter what they are, no creature of God deserves this. This sad event should not be treated the same way our government have always handled issues. It is a case of national security because you cannot tell when you fellow man can gruesomely turn against you. All those involved must be caught and brought to book.
