Maybe to further buttress the fact that he is now a member of the ruling party APC, after jettisoning the PDP a while back, Warri, Delta State monrybag, Chief Ayiri Emami arrived the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja very recently in a private jet to meet with APC, National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister for Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed. Whatever it was that was the subject of discussion we don't know, but it must have been important.

On the jet also was oil and gas czar, Dapo Abiodun of Heyden, who is really enjoying a new lease of life businesswise. Is brand was one of the few chosen for some multi-billion dollar, oil for product swaps.

WHAT'S UP WITH THE AKULAGBA 1 OF WARRI, CHIEF AYIRI EMAMI?

There's the claim or should we just say that there's the revolving gist in town, that things might not be as rosy as it used to be for this billionaire Niger Delta Chieftain again. The rosy times they say, might have reduced drastically.


According to the gist, the funds that used to rain in before in torrents, might have become a drizzle now.

WHAT'S UP WITH OMOSEDE IGBINEDION?

OMOSEDE IGBINEDION

If all we hear can be confirmed to be accurate, then one of the daughters of the great Esama of Benin, Sir (Dr) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion and his Jamaican wife Lady Cherry in the person of the delectably gorgeous Omosede Igbinedion, might be giving the sacred institution of marriage another try.  


Several years ago, the Esama's daughter got married to Prince Aven Akenzua in what was then one of the weddings of the year, so fabulous was the wedding that many flew in from far and wide to attend and see how good money was put to very good use. It was a royal wedding in all ramifications. But alas! Not too long afterwards, just after 2 years of so called marital bliss, it was obvious that the center couldn't hold together again anymore and in spite of all that family, friends and the elders could do, husband and wife had to go their different ways. 

Prince Akenzua, apparently not one for undue attention, seemingly went incognito and not much has been heard about him ever since. His estranged former wife on the other hand, seem to enjoy the glare of press attention. There was the speculation at a point that she was dating the fabulously rich Delta born Ayiri Emami. The unconfirmed rumour then was that Omosede, was going to be Ayiri's 2nd wife. But nothing came out of it. Now another unconfirmed rumour is all about town, the gist is that Omosede is presently head-over-heels in love and might soon be walking the aisle again. 

Who the lucky guy is, we do not know for certain. How truly serious the relationship is? We do not know. But we are waiting with bated breath to either celebrate another big Igbinedion wedding or even a quiet one.

AYIRI EMAMI

His name is Ayiri Emami, the highly influential Niger Delta youth leader, who was the former Chairman of Delta Waterways Security Committee and a very good friend of  'Omosede Igbinedion'. The young man from what we hear is awesomely rich, his indescribable mansion in his homestead testifies to the fact that money to him is like water in the ocean. It was even said that he had the most expensive wedding in Nigeria at one point; how the cost of the wedding was arrived at we don't know.

One major thing we have noticed about him is his style, which is why we are celebrating him today. Mr. Ayiri has a style all his own, very distinct, in your face and true to only him. This picture of him on our post shows him looking very cool wearing a cool white shirt and a bow-tie atop a kilt or an adaptation of it and wearing a neon green pair of boot, we especially love the near floor-length cross on his neck and the beret to finish the ensemble, that's the jacket he is holding we presume. We know for a fact that the rich can seemingly get away with most things, especially when it comes to fashion, that to many means eccentricity. So is our rich dude eccentric or what?
