OLORI HADIZA ELEGUSHI FINALLY STEPS IN TO THE PALACE

For those who might not know or might not easily remember who Olori (Queen) Hadiza is, she's the exciting 2nd, & younger wife of the very handsome and stylish, his royal majesty, Alaiyeluwa, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Elegushi of Elegushi and the Kusenla III of Ikateland and environs.

Queen Hadiza from Kano, was married amidst plenty of pomp and excitement earlier in the year in Kano at one of the most exciting traditional nuptials of the year in town. And to show how much the King, who is in fact one of the youngest royal fathers in Nigeria valued his then fiance later wife, the kind of gifts that she had received from her husband as part of the tradition that follows the marriage rite, is still seen today as one of the most staggering from a husband to his intended. The gifts boasts of jewelry, clothes and so much more. And the nuptial was widely celebrated.

People had expected that soon after all the ceremonies had emded that the new queen would soon pack to her matrimonial home, but alas that didn't happen as was expected immediately. And then people wondered very much after the wedding about when the new queen/junior wife would be packing into her husband's home, so as to give the lovely and super stylish queen in the house, the senior wife in the person of the dazzling Olori Sekinat Elegushi the required assistance needed, so both can begin to take care of their husband very well together too, in unity and love.

But we have had to wait for several months, before Queen Hadiza would officially visit or step into her husband's Palace and home and in doing the visit, she did it with loads of fanfare to the admiration of all and sundry.

The visit or better still the queen's homecoming came at a most auspicious of occasion too, which was during the 10th anniversary and remembrance ceremony of the passage of the reigning king's dad to go be with his ancestors. The anniversary ceremony was held at the Palace with pomp and Queen (Olori) Hadiza's presence added a lot of pep to the whole event as she was the gorgeous cynosure of all eyes at the occasion.

The Olori 2, blessed with a gorgeous body and a super pretty face and known to be super stylish handled, what was likely her first official assignment with the required oomph & dispatch it needed. She was all around her handsome and well respected husband to assist with whatever and wherever, Olori 2- Queen Hadiza, was said to have handled all things needed quite well and properly too and must have assisted her senior colleague very well in the circumstances.

What has made this homecoming particularly important is the fact that prior to now, the new Olori apparently used to favour more an apartment or accommodation at an hotel more in GRA, Ikeja whenever she comes visiting to see her husband. With this homecoming now, it must mean that she would always be more at home at the palace now than before. Maybe her shuttling between Abuja and Lagos wouid reduce, as she would be coming home more and more often henceforth.

Just imagine having 2 dazzling, quite beautiful and stylish wives as queens to take care of one! Would Oba Elegushi ever follow in the illustrious footsteps of such personage as the Alaafin of Oyo who is said to have between 6 & 10 wives? Hmmmmmm? We don't know, but time would tell.

What a good story though in the lesson of living together in love, unity and harmony. We commend the 2 Oloris (Queens) Sekinat & Hadiza, for a good job well done.

Today, Friday, May 24, 2019 same date a few years ago, 16 years ago to be more precise in 2003, was when after a whirlwind courtship that the then Prince Saheed Ademola Elegushi, one of the sons of the then Elegushi of Ikateland and environs, now late, took his beloved fiance as the then 'Sekinat Aramide Ipaye' as his beloved wife in richer or poorer till forever.

That year 2003, a decade and much more ago, was a big day in all ramifications as the then prince father didn't spare any expense to host his son's wedding and the Ipaye's being Lagos Island top socialites of note did their daughter very proud too. It was in fact, one of the top weddings of the year then, with the delightsome K1 the ultimate on the bandstand with the one and only KSA, the king of African music.

His royal majesty, Alayeluwa, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Kusenla III, the Elegushi of Ikateland, and Olori Aramide Sekinat Elegushi were college sweethearts whose relationship blossomed into marriage. Olori Sekinat was the school sweetheart (they met as undergraduates) of the then prince, meaning they have been together for at least 2 decades now, if not more.

Till this very moment, even as the kabiyesi (king) has done what the tradition requires of a royal father by marrying another wife, a 2nd wife at that, in the person of Olori Hadiza Elegushi nee Yakasai, the love between him and his first love, his supremely gorgeous and super stylish first wife has not waned at all neither diminished in any way. In fact, it's like as the years have come by, that love has gotten better and better and more solid and  intense by the day.

Fast forward to now, that's presently, the beautiful and eventful 16 years have been blessed with 3 extraordinarily intelligent and super smart daughters, who are always a delight to behold and interact with. These girls are not only princesses in every true sense of the word, but they have been so well brought up that, they are very respectful, quite humble and very knowledgeable too.

It is quite obvious in all ramifications that the quite handsome and very well to do king, HRM Oba Elegushi, has enjoyed a great 16 years, as he has continued to look younger and younger even as he is in his 40s, making him one of the youngest royal fathers in the whole of Nigeria. It must mean his 40 plus years old 1st wife, has done remarkably well in the years past. 

So, as his royal majesty and Olori Gushi 1 celebrates their 16 years of bliss together, we also here on this platform celebrates 🎉 with them and wish for them a more continually blissful and blessed marriage in all ramifications too.

The last few days have been a bit shocking and surprising to most as no one ever thought that 'Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III', the Elegushi of the vast Ikateland would ever take another wife to add to his harem. Why anyone would have thought a traditional king in an African setting, especially in Nigeria would marry just one wife beats our imagination though.

Though one of the many reasons many people were of the thought that the Oba and his Olori would just be the only one-just husband and wife, was because of the so called 'tight closeness' between the couple and how they always carry on like, nothing in the world can ever come between them, most especially another Olori from anywhere. Some have even whispered that both husband and wife had had some sort of agreement about it all.

So when the news of the newest Olori in town in the person of her now royal majesty, Olori Hadiza Tanko Elegushi hit the airwaves, it flattened many. As it took them by total surprise and many are still reeling from the shock of it all as we speak. To some its like a dream, some sort of nightmare they are still going to wake up. Why they think it's a nightmare, still baffles us still. And to these people, we would want to ask this question, as the king committed a sacrilege of any sort?

Though, the super gorgeous 'Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi nee Ipaye' has not complained at all to anyone (openly at least or that we know of) about anything amiss, especially as it has to do with her beloved husband marrying another wife. Many friends of the very stylish queen and mother of 3, who has remained quiet all through what's going on, have thought best to rally round one of their own and to show their total support to their friends at this time, that some have considered to be a trying period.

So at every given opportunity on the social media, it has been praises galore and unprecedented backslapping, all dropping morale boosting messages to shore up madam's confidence, loads of subliminal messages, confirming her as the only queen etc, so that if paradventure she might for any reason be feeling giddy over what has happened in the last few days.. She would know that she has a solid circle of friends, who are willing to come out openly in support of her.

Kudos must be given to the very dedicated Olori Seki though for her stoic disposition all through everything. The queen in times past, when she was interviewed by one of the best selling newspapers in Nigeria, had stated rather confidently then that, even if her loving husband should contemplate taking a new wife then for any reason, that the heaven wouldn't fall!!! So if she had made that timely assertion then over many months ago, it's then very obvious that for her husband to now take a new wife truly, heaven truly wouldn't fall and in a few months from now all of the unnecessary attention that the action of the king might have brought on the family, would have soon dissipated and everything would have been consigned to history by then. With every one gallantly continuing with life as usual.

But while many of the Olori's friends have thought to boost her energy at such a time like this, acting as her VOLTRONS, forming a circle of defense around her, a popular celebrity lifestyle entrepreneur owner of Larrittsshoevillage, Lara didn't take a chill pill at all in her own affection for the new in coming queen of Ikateland, Olori Hadiza Elegushi. Apparently she had praised the incoming on her social media page before, which didn't go down well with some. So in her open response to those her perceived enemies of progress, she then went totally off the hook against perceived enemies of the incoming queen and herself and warned off some of those who might openly want to come for her to have an open toe to toe. Her words were a clear and open readiness for war!!!!

So it's a battle of sides as it were now.
