This month’s cover star is international singing sensation - Nneka!  With thought provoking lyrics and a hauntingly sweet voice, Nneka Egbuna has the world nodding to her unique Afro Soul sound.

In this edition Nneka shares our double cover with her 26-year-old Tosin a young guitarist in her band, who she says embodies all that inspires her. She opens up about a bittersweet hero worship of her father, her mother’s absence during her childhood, her journey to Germany at 18 as a refugee in search of her birth mother and of course the music!

We told ya' all about the Nigeria Independence Festival 2013 packaged by Cokobar. The show went down as scheduled last night in London at at the Indig02 Arena. 

And just like we correctly predicted the show was a colossal success. The trio of entertainers who flew in from Nigeria, made up of Sean Tizzle aka Shole, Flavour Nabania & Olamide aka Badoo brought down the roof of the Indig02 arena with their performances.That wasn't all ooooo, even the delectably gorgeous & wonderfully sonorous one- Lola Rae was the bombshell of the evening, giving a great performance to add to her beauty.

We can put a bet on in it that, when next any of these 3 would come back to London, the Arena would be filled again to capacity.

There was too much drama at the concert to talk about. Sean Tizzle showed how strong his bones were, with his skeleton on display, Flavour wriggled, jiggle and dazzled to everyone's delight. Olamide as usual was fireworks all the way, this guy can perform, he revved up the crowd to their highest and didn't leave them hanging. Crowd from their reactions got good value for their money. 

Eddie Kadi, the host & comedian of the night as usual was at his imperious best. So it was all a very good package. One of the highlights of the whole night, were the dancers, who added more raw energy to the already fantastic performances of the artistes. The raunchy booty shaking from them dancers were not from here at all. It's like some machines to aid booty shaking had been added to their waists and they showed off  too much, while they twisted, rolled and worked their waist & backs to such levels that got the crowd totally electrified.

BADOO ARRIVES LONDON FOR SUNDAY CONCERT

Olamide aka Badoo has landed London for the Tripple Treat Concert tomorrow at the Indig02. The concert tagged as the Nigeria Independence Celebration, is a music festival put together by CokoBar.com. 


The other stars that would be on stage alongside Olamide, the likes of Flavour Nabania & Sean Tizzle had arrived a day earlier than him. We hear that all the performers are already gearing up to give the performances of their lives, so as to shake the arena to its rafters. 

Check out the handsome Olamide strolling into the London airport full of mad confidence. All the Mosunmolas in London are in for a great time, Enough lollipop to go round.

LONDON ARE YOU READY??? AS FLAVOUR, SEAN TIZZLE LANDS LONDON FOR CONCERT

This Sunday, October 6, 2013 in London 2 of Nigeria's top music stars, in the persons of Flavour Nabania, we believe the star needs no introduction whatsoever. If you don't know Flavour by now, then you must be living in Pluto or Jupiter. The other star attraction is none other than the 'Shole exponent' that is the one and only Sean Tizzle, ''U come dey smile like an Indian...........'', Shole.., Kole!


Both stars have already landed London and are juiced up and set to rock the indig02 Arena to the rafters. Waist will pop, back would break and legs go scatter as people would have the fun and enjoyment of their lives on the ''Pkorogodo & the Shole tip'' wink! wink!! Meanwhile, to paraphrase what Shole means, it's like asking if it's hard! What might that be? And what's Pkprogodo kpom! kpom !! We leave that to your 'good' imagination.

STARS & CELEBRITIES SHINE DOWN AT THE LATEST SLU...SHH SWITCH PARTY.....

It was another great Slu.....shh party some days back, Saturday, September 21, 2013 to be more precise. This particular edition of the party was tagged the Slu....Shh Switch party.  It was like the stars/celebs had missed the gathering so much so, that they came out in large numbers for this one to come have unmitigated fun. From the pictures of the event that we have seen it was obvious that it was fun and enjoyment galore on the night. There was too much of all those things that makes any party, gathering good.

Party was hosted at the Slu..shh Mansion on the Island, 23 Admiralty road, Lekki Phase 1, by the duo of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a very close friend of Noble Igwe who is the head honcho at 360 Nobs, the organiser of the party and Linda Osifo, we heard they both did a very good job. 

Apart from the mingling and back slapping et al , there were performances by some, the likes of Phyno, Pre & the very lively & cheerful Sean T i z z l e!!!!

Like we already made mention, the stars/celebs trooped out for the fun night, some of those we saw were Banky W & his gf Andrea, the Don of Mavin Records, Don 'the prolific' Jazzy, the only rapper with the Msc. Naeto C, Ikechukwu aka Killz, Iyanya 'Your Waist' Mbuk, Toolz 'va va voom' Oniru, Africa's numero uno DJ Jimmy Jatt, 99.9 Beat FM'S Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, the delicious Beat 99.9 OAP Fade Ogunro, BBA The Chase's Beverly Osu, VHS's Yomi Black & wife, the voice known as Praiz, rapstress Eva Alordiah, Rhythm 93.7 FM's delicious OAP Toke Makinwa, Joke Jaiyesinmi and very many others.
