Every opinion I have sought from many of my friends and colleagues suggest that Tuface Idibia is probably the best Nigerian musician of the past decade and the most gifted, the launch of the international edition of his new album not too long ago, attested to the fact that no matter what might be going on in the ultimate star’s private life, his fan base is probably the biggest and most supportive, it’s also the first time fans would think of buying in torrents a cd, and a Nigerian cd for that matter at #1000 a piece, very audacious many would have thought, but yes!!!,loads and loads of the fantastic album have been sold and many more still been sold, so when the best bar / lounge in Lagos, sent out alerts that they were hosting the Legend in the making, many made up their minds to attend and in large numbers they did, with many of Tuface colleagues in the industry on hand to show solidarity, towards the most humble superstar ever to rise from Nigeria, kudos to MI who only just returned from the USA after the BET awards ceremony, also KEL was in the house, so also was DJINEE and many others, and as always JIBOLA and the SWE management were a perfect host,.
