SHERIFF & MARIAM TO NAME SON THIS WEEKEND

Gaiety has found a home in the abode of the Shagaya's and by extension the Tukur's. Allah the giver of all things great, good and wonderful visited the home of Sheriff , one of the adorable sons of Hajia Bola Shagaya and his wife Mariam nee Bamanga Tukur, (the dad is the current Chairman of the PDP), and on His way back to His abode left a mark of Joy with the couple-A bouncing baby boy.

The elated couple would be naming their bundle of joy this weekend in London, England. So London would experience merry-making a la the Shagaya's and the Tukur's. We hear family members and friends would converge this weekend to celebrate with the couple. A bird even whispered that the First lady is very likely to be at the naming. This is Hajia Bola Shagaya's 1st grand-child, so you all now understand the reason for the merrymaking.

Sheriff married the love of his wife Mariam, in 2010 in what some have tagged one of the biggest weddings of the year, and just a year and half later on, Allah has blessed them with a son.

A very big congratulation to the new dad & mom on their bundle of joy,may the happiness continually roll in.

Amin

SHERIFF & MARIAM

I only read that his Mum is an interfering factor in the marriage. This girl has pedigree so i guess she couldn't stand the way his Mum was trying to boss the marriage. Amen to all the baby wishes and may the baby bring them closer.

Thats not nice Sisi Bola. Why do Yoruba people interfer in marriages like this now? Please leave them alone to discover each other. Its so annoying. Sisi Bola, Sherrif they suck im wife breast now, not yours. Eyin Iya, e lo sepe.Lol

Atoh, Exactly. If this story is true, Bola better go face her rich but lonely old woman lifestyle instead of tryin to live vicarously thru her son and Maryam's lives. Agbaya woman. Claiming to be in her 50s when she's clearly minimum 63 yrs.

Anon@7.37pm, you are right. She does look old especially when Banke (BM pro) is not around to pancake the saggy face. Why cant our senior aunties just grow old gracefully........hmmm nah wa ooh. Too much partying and too much kondo heheheheheheheehe

Lols- interference in marriage by parents is not unique to the Yorubas. You sound so deem *gosh*
HBS I agree must be in her 60s but who care, this is Nigeria, the land of make believe, a land where people can appear from no where, and as long as they have money, they can be whatever they want to be without any questions being asked.

I bet she has some young side kick who's servicing her. She will give him plenty money. Oh yes BS should be mates with the late Maryam Babangida and if she were still alive she'd be in her early 60s. It's good someone like Maryam can stand up to her. After all her dad is the great Bamanga Tukur. If nothing else BS will be struck with who is he and they are all Fee Dee Fee!

I'm Anon May 16, 2012 12:17 PM. The Anon after me didn't say it was unique to Yoruba's but it's rampant with them. Did you really mean "deem?" Do you know what that word means? Some people (maybe you) will accept anything. Not everyone is like that okay? Some people still have values and question where some people get their wealth from. Don't get carried away with these people please.

I am Yoruba, married to a yoruba guy. And yes, i have serious interferance from my in laws, so i can imagine what Maryam is going through. While my sister who is married to a Delta guy, has no such problems. It is very common among us Yorubas! Parents should learn to stop poke nosing.I have told my sister in law to please move her things into our house and she can start fucking her brother while at it. As for my mother in law, She is just something else. She fits into Hajia Bol's profile perfectly.

ok the Fee Dee Fee (PDP) comment got me in stiches...lmao

@ Lols, Im fainting with laughter! You answer your sista in law well.

Yoruba's are just a bunch of nosy hypocrites. Awon alabosi eyan. I am yoruba so don't diss me. I'm sick of how they don't mind their business but make it a point to dictate and mind other people's business. And you dare not refuse their advice or interference, or you'll be blacklisted for life.

Most of these son to mother issues are spiritual. Some of the prayers Mums say for their kids are like unknown curses and they tie the boys down. The sons are unaware but these Mums don't know the repercussions. Always pray for your hubbies.

Yes oh, interferance is common among Yoruba mothers in law. Worse if the son is an only son, first son, last son or richest son!
Women should dtop calling their sons 'oko mi'... Oga oh!
