ALL IS FAIR IN WAR AS FEMI GBAJABIAMILA'S ENEMIES FIGHTS DIRTY.

Those who do not like Femi Gbajabiamila's visibility and rise, those who do not like the camp that he belongs to (he is unrepentantly a strong member of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's camp) and who would want their pound of flesh have merged together to fight the one they now see as a common enemy. And in fighting the battle to what they believe is a conclusion, they are willing to use every weapon in their arsenals to achieve their goal. For these people, they have embraced wholeheartedly, the maxim that, "all is fair in war". So whatever is is going to take, is what they are willing to give it.

What is it particularly that is bringing so much attention on the exemplary lawyer and law maker, it's none other than the battle for the position of the speaker (leader) of the Federal House of Representatives, which makes the one that emerges for the post, as the 4th in rank on the power hierarchy in the country.

The speaker of the national assembly of a country, is a massive position of influence and what the norm actually dictates is that, the party that's in the majority in the house, picks the person to occupy that position. What the party in the majority normally does is to pick a consensus candidate from amongst themselves, who they would all vote for to become the speaker, but with the APC which is the ruling party, it has been a party in chaos and disarray. So a house divided against itself cannot stand. So if care is not taken, they might just lose out all over again. Like in the 8th assembly.

With so many from the same party laying claim to the post, it hasn't been as straightforward as the party would have loved it. So with the in-fighting in the party getting more intense by the day, making them not to stand as one, it has allowed the opposition to plant seeds of discord to further pull them apart. And that opposition scheming powerfully and might actually spring a surprise.

Part of what they have used to their advantage so far is to bring to question the integrity of the major front runner for position from the APC in the person of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

First was the question of his abroad based daughter, who is a supposed model, whose unrestrained lifestyle they have called into question and then now is this campaign of calumny that is fast gaining grounds that he was a convicted felon in the US in 2007 where he was formerly based. So the idea is basically that how can a former criminal or felon aspire to such a sensitive position as that of the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives of Nigeria.

In fact there's even a court case - FHC/ABJ/CS/539/2019, was specifically instituted already by a Phillip Undie. The plaintiff, Mr Philip Undie, who identified himself as a taxpayer, in a 25-paragraph affidavit, told the court that he has evidence that the 1st defendant was convicted by the Supreme Court of Georgia in 2007.

Consequently, he as asked the court to determine “whether upon the construction of section 66 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, vis-à-vis the judgement of the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, Atlanta, USA, in suit No. SO6YO829 in the matter of Femi Gbaja, the 1st defendant is the fit and proper person to be elected to the House of Representatives and/or to the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.”

To Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila's detractors, It is like one's past catching up on one.

So would this people, these enemies of progress succeed in their dastardly schemes? It is left to be seen as the countdown to the election in June of 2019 gets near.

One major thing he is known for is that Property magnate and Chairman of Gibraltar Construction, Olu Okeowo doesn't do things in small measures. His colossal edifice of a home and unbelievable garage, with 6 humongous and mouth opening Rolls Royce Cars and loads other super machines likes of the highest grades of Bentley's and others, bears testament to the fact that everything about him is loud or better still humongous for a purpose. That his Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheel Base still dazzles whenever he drives it out. It is the 13th out of the 50 of it only made. And it icvupocc a pride of place at the Palacio del Okeowo.

Imagine owning a home, in the same estate that he was living before in another property owned by him also and then moving to another, far more palatial that's valued at between ₦5 and ₦8billion Naira, at this time! The valuation, takes into cognisance/consideration the cars, and other things in the house that makes it a home, which is the reason for the awesome valuation that leaves mouth totally agape!

So since there's a type of reputation to protect already, especially at a time too that unverified and not so accurate speculations was all over town that his house had been sealed and his super cars seized by the customs for avoiding payment of duties on them. A story that was found to be majorly tales by moonlight, engineered by his detractors. Truth was that he was only asked to pay more duty on just one of his humongous automobile, whose valuation was inaccurately done before and so was now properly done and  immediately sorted out. Not too long ago also, some detractors had also gone to town spreading videos of his humongous collection of cars, claiming in the video that the cars belonged to the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu just so to forment trouble unnecessarily!

The intimidating property magnate, who in his good heart has learnt to take the good with the bad without flinching as that's what life is all about; the ying and the yang in the same boat, in that same week rolled out the drums and red carpet to celebrate his 2nd son's 21st birthday with plenty of pomp, that left many of those invited with mouth agape and in awe. Ibukun Okeowo was celebrated by his father like a man of extraordinary means was expected to do and especially for being a brilliant, well behaved and good son.

It was like a coming of age party for the young man. Who had unlimited fun galore has he officially graduated from being a boy to a man and his elated well garbed dad showed a bit of his dexterity on the dance floor in celebration of his son.

Now that the highly revered Oonirisa, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II is now an "eligible bachelor" that's if tradition can permit one to say that, woe betides any lady that is seen with him, either just greeting him or even seen around his entourage, for it would immediately spark speculation that the person might just be the lucky one. And such a person had better be squeaky clean without any skeletons whatsoever!

If the lady whether single or married is now a pretty or imposing one, that would most likely further add to the intrigues that surrounds who would be the next Olori (Queen) !!!!.

And just because the monarch or the palace has not announced that one person or the other is the lucky one yet, many especially on the social media have allowed their minds to even travel far faster than that of the very handsome and eligible monarch.

Imagine that a lady by name "Emmanuella Ropo" who had innocently taken a picture with the amiable and well respected royal father as far back as May 2017, at the humongous wedding of the children of former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR and that of Baba Ijebu, Chief Kessingnton Adebutu, is now being linked with him as his new wife. Just because of a picture.

The innocent picture has caused a lot of minds to fabricate a secret marriage that has since been found to be a tale by the moonlight. Even Emmanuella herself, the lady in the picture has been somewhat embarrassed by the story and has come out to dispel the rumour.

Hear her,  It's all bullshit!!! She disclaimed the whole scenario in an exclusive interview with "Flip TV".

And the currently "single lady", who had been reported to be "here and that" went on further to say that the fake story is the "handiwork of detractors".

It is obvious via the mien of the Royal Father that no one can bamboozle him to reveal his private business, until he is ready to divulge such information. So let's all wait patiently.
