SENATOR ADESEYE OGUNLEWE FINALLY EATS VOMIT AS HE DUMPS PDP LAGOS FOR APC. NOW TO DINE WITH HIS FORMER ENEMIES AS BUDDIES NOW

Wow. No one would have thought it could happen in a hundred years., let's not overstretch it to a million years. Senator ADESEYE Ogunlewe, the former minister of works under Chief Olusegun Aremo Obasanjo, who was used to fight Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a standstill then, during the then administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Executive Governor of Lagos State.

The former Minister of Works then wore the garb of the unrelenting enemy well then and did all that was possible to make a mess of the then Asiwaju administration. It was federal might at its best, with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo an ex-military General as its arrow head against the wiles, maneuverings and wisdom of Asiwaju, who literally adopted guerrilla tactics to outwit both Ogunlewe then and his ear veteran principal, that the only option left to them was the illegality of seizing the money due to the state then, in a protracted stalemate. Both Ogunlewe and Obasanjo didn't care, it was their way or no way at all. So they didn't mind whose ox was gored. They had thought they had a strangle hold of a kind on Lagos then and would soon paralyze governance and those administering it then, but much as they tried, the ingenuity of those running the affairs of Lagos then, likes of Babatunde Raji Fashola, Wale Edun, Lai Mohammed, Muiz Banire, Rauf Aregbesola, Babatunde Fowler and Co, made the FG look like a big bullying fool with excreta spattered over their face in shame at the end of it all.

It is the same Senator Ogunlewe whose son was the first to decamp from the PDP after unsuccessfully trying to win elections into the state house, that has now eaten his vomit and returned back home to the so called progressives from his former conservative enclave that he had moved to. What this says seriously and what it gives credence to, is that truism that 'there are never permanent enemies in politics, only permanent interests'. As long as something is going to pay the personality himself or those very close to him, such a person is ready and willing to discard whatever his ideological leaning might be, to then dine with just about anyone, including the devil itself.

So those inconsequential hangers on that takes up battles not necessarily theirs are the losers at the end of the day or would they also go cap in hand to go beg for relevance too?

So after much denial that he wasn't ever jumping ships, he has done just that and was received into the APC ship by Alhaji Tunde Balogun a chieftain of the Lagos APC & other members of the working committee. Ogunlewe didn't actually jump the ship alone, he came in tow with Moyosore his son and other bigwigs of the main opposition. And if their prediction is anything to go by, then it is likely that with this defection, maybe PDP in Lagos State is now on her death knell. 

SO WHERE NEXT FOR PROFESSOR BEN AYADE? IS HE GETTING SET TO JUMP SHIPS?

This is probably a bit of a trying period for the Governor of Cross Rivers State, in the person of the very gregarious Professor Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade, as he has to make some major decisions quickly that could either make or mar is political career for good.

This is not about his growing feud with the Dame of Bakassi, in the person of Senator Florence Ita-Giwa (Mma Bakassi). Nor is it about some major issues that concerns the oil rich state.

No it has nothing whatsoever to do with that at all. This is a far more, much more important dilemma on the scale than that particularly unneccesary feud.

This has to do with a decision, that rests on the decision of the Supreme Court of Nigeria of recent, when the apex court in the country ejected and removed the former 2 term consecutive Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff as the chairman of the PDP and declared as the "authentic Chairman" another former Governor, Ex-Governor of Kaduna State in the person of Alhaji Ahmed Makarfi.

THE NIGHTINGALE BY NAME MUSILIU OBANIKORO SINGS SONOROUS NEW MELODY

Melody nos 1- First he sonorously commends Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for doing excellently well in his service delivery. That he is pleased with what the action Governor is doing.

Melody nos 2- Then in the same breathe, he castigates his own party chieftain, Ali Modu Sheriff and says he would rather follow the opposition than to follow him. He went further to say that, should Modu Sheriff win his case and be made the Chairman of PDP by the Supreme Court, that's when he would cease to be a member of the PDP.

Melody nos 3- Then he waxed lyrical, when he corrects the notion that he had already jumped ship from PDP to APC. The speculation was rife that he had moved from his beloved PDP to APC. So he claims that a politician of his status would not move and that move not be heralded by much fanfare that it deserves. So by that it means, he hasn't moved yet. All that's been heard are just rumours.

Melody nos 4- Then he went rapping, when he went on to state that he was never comfortable while he was estranged from his godfather, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu, with whom he was at loggerheads with since 2006, that's for 11 straight years until recently. He went further to say that he his happy to have finally made peace with the Asiwaju. That losing a personal relationship with the Jagaban was a mistake. That the fence mending is not for any political reason, but rather for Lagos and personal interest.

We totally commend his dexterity at mixing all the genres of music together so effortlessly and greatly and therefore recording an award winning single.

Remember that the nightingale is that little bird🐦, well known for its rich melodious songs, often heard at night!

SEGUN ONI EMBRACES APC DUMPS PDP

GOVERNOR KAYODE FAYEMI

Would this very timely change of allegiance be a major advantage at this point in time? We would soon know. Before now, it was like the incumbent action Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi & ousted former Governor Segun Oni, who was then with the PDP were sworn enemies. Reason being that, it was Kayode Fayemi's party that threw a spanner in the wheel of the then Governor Oni's wheel of progress. 

After Segun Oni was declared Governor in Ekiti State then, the AC went all the way to remove him as Governor. They succeeded through the Courts after all of 3 years, so the PDP and Segun Oni who couldn't believe what had happened to them then were bitter. Though they tried through the Courts to reverse the judgement, they were unsuccessful all through. 

Now that the incumbent, who has worked remarkably well is seeking for a 2nd term to consolidate on his 1st term, alignments and re-alignments to position very well for a monumental fight (election) come the next few weeks (June 21, 2014) have meant that former enemies are throwing down their weapons, sheathing their swords to embrace peace, in order to fight a common enemy. 

Apparently not liking how his former party (the PDP), which is hell bent on wrestling power away from Fayemi and his party picked their aspirant & even the choice of aspirant (Ayo Fayose), the former Governor Oni has since jumped ship and now is a member of the APC (All Progressives Congress) . 

So would this be bringing the much needed support that would help annihilate the opposition made up of the very formidable Ayo Fayose on one side and the indefatigable Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele on the other side, time will surely tell, if this allegiance is a masterstroke.
