Dark and handsome hunk extraordinaire Maje Ayida needs no extraordinary introduction at all. Even if you don't know him before now, by virtue of his celebrated but botched relationship with his celebrated OAP ex-wife Toke Makinwa you would have come across him or heard something about him.

He is the one, the major subject matter at that, that was well described in that best selling first book (non fiction) 'UNBECOMING' that was released by Toke a while back. Some of those things written about the fitness god or should we say fitness guru got our attention then and even till tomorrow, those revelations still reverberates and continues to generate major hoopla, depending on the side of the divide one belongs to or is a fan of.

The bald head dude with the smoldering, very penetrative eyes, which must have been one of the reasons that made Toke to dance "palongo in love" then, before things went badly south, has since then done very well for himself in the fitness world, which must have been why he is the cover star of the most recent, current publication of Vanguard Allure, out selling right now as we speak on Sunday, June 2, 2019. The dude who should be an authority of some kind, spoke in the interview inside the Sunday-Sunday regular pullout about women and fitness.

The 45 year old dark skinned, Itsekiri dude is one of the sons of the late very famous Allison Ayida, he has 5 older siblings. He and his ex-wife were married for 18 months.

After the launch of the TARA Genevieve Pink Ball Lip Stain on Sunday August 3, House of Tara was glad to support the pre-event Walk against cancer that held on Saturday, 13 September and featured some of Nigeria's brightest celebrities and media personalities.

The event, anchored by lifestyle entrepreneur Maje Ayida required participants to either Run, Walk or Cycle from Lekki to Ikoyi and back to Lekki.

Celebrities at the event included Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akindele,Tolu 'Toolz' Oniru, Toke, Kemi Adetiba, Toke Makinwa, Seyi Shay, Fade Ogunro, Osas Ighodaro, Lynxx Gbemi Olateru, Mai Atafo, Bolanle Olukanni amongst others. They joined the publisher of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor and her husband, Soni Irabor.

SO WHO IS LYING? TOKE MAKINWA OR KUNBI OYELESE?

Everyone was totally blown over when we all heard that Maje had finally made a wife of his longtime on/off girlfriend/fiancee. It was with great relief that everyone received the news, majorly because it would finally put an end to all the shenanigan that had followed this relationship from the beginning. The elated new wife in utter joy, had gone on the social media to talk about how things totally took her by surprise- Hear her- 
''We would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us, but this was our registry and so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, It was such a big surprise , I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because I usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe! I am not fully over it yet!''

That was what she said about the whole do, and people were completely gobsmacked!!! One had wondered then about how come she had been able to get the perfect outfit for her day of joy, when she supposedly didn't know nothing was going to happen till the d-day.

Her designer, the very gorgeous Kunbi Oyelese of the April by Kunbi fame, who made the gorgeous gold wedding registry outfit, might have let the real truth out of the bag by mistake.

''I worked under pressure to get it done....Toke called me up and said ''I'm getting married'' and when I asked when? She said ''in 3 days'' ...and I am like seriously.....so I had to work towards a short deadline ....but it was all good''.

Though it the lie is inconsequential, why the need for the fib in the first place? Oooo Ok just a little one to add drama to the script, situation or what?

We are most definitely the happiest people on earth for this couple; why wouldn't we be after about 11 years plus of on today, break-off tomorrow shenanigans. Both have finally saved us plenty of blushes by finally sorting themselves out and getting married, what a relief. So no more unnecessary twitter exchanges? No more breaking up for the silliest of excuses. It is most definitely now, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in good health or nasty health, till death do them part, super fantastic. 


Like you all have read everywhere already, it was a private registry wedding. And like Toke has said to us all, she didn't know it was coming (rolling our eyes in disbelief), but she must have planned for it one way or the other, as she wore an appropriate creation by April by Kunbi for the deed and she also had a few of her friends there to witness somehow.  Curiously, where was Ope Makinwa?

Anyways, we love you both and wish you the very best from the bottom of our hearts. May the good Lord obliterate every obstacles in your way and may He also bless the union with an abundance of 'fruitfulness', as much as you want and can imagine. 

Little advise- unlike before that all your 'business' were laid open for the public to enjoy, now is the time to close shop and have your affairs in private and with maturity, as that's only way a marriage can last. 

We hope to celebrate the little bambino(s) sometime soon, maybe in October or November, if not earlier. 

A question before we forget, are we still having that destination white wedding like you had planned for last year? Or this is just it? We want owambe oooooooooooo.

CONGRATS TOKE, NOW TO THE NEXT

TOKE & MAJE ON THE DAY OF THE INTRO

How we forgot to mention this still baffles us. Must have skipped our minds. Anyways better late than never at all. Early last month, February 2, 2013 to be more precise, the gorgeous  Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Miss Omotoke Makinwa, or like we love to call Miss Delish, had a very quiet introduction ceremony.

The intro, like we all know is sequel to the Engagement/Traditional Wedding Ceremony and the mother of it all, the white wedding. The lucky dude is still her beau of many years now Maje Ayida.  The cool couple have both decided to settle the matter this year and take the plunge.

So the journey towards matrimony has already begun in earnest, according to the snippets we have gotten, the engagement/traditional wedding is definitely upcoming before the 3rd quarter of the year. Some have even speculated that it's going to be a summer wedding, between the months of July & September, 2013. 

Our bird in the air, whose antennas can gather info from far & wide, whose eyes also see all and whose information are always authentic, says it's most likely going to be a destination wedding.
Where it would be precisely, the bird is still digging.

So from us here at MM. We wish both Maje & Toke well and we are eagerly waiting for our own wedding invitation. May the Lord keep safe the dates for you guys. Amen!

SO ITS NOW OFFICIAL- MAJE PROPOSES TO TOKE ON BENDED KNEES.

We are still on the subject of love. We think many many things- weddings, engagement would be happening this year oooooo. It's like many have made up their minds that, this year 2012 would not pass them by. 

Just about some days back, Maje Ayida, who is Toke Makinwa's longtime beau, declared his heartfelt love to her on bended knees and asked for her hand in marriage. And the deliciously beautiful bride to be, who is an OAP with the Rhythm 93.7 FM station, while also an anchor for 3 Live Chicks and who would be hosting the 25th Anniversary of the Most Beautiful Girl Pageant in Edo State, we hear was completely swept off her feet.

We hear their love dance has been on since about 8 years now, and about 2 Thursdays ago, the suave, young man, who is into the health and fitness business-he owns Edenlifestyle Nigeria, right after coming home from a dinner date with the love of his life, like a perfectly orchestrated movie love scene, went down on one knee, and allowed the roman goddess of love-Venus to inspire his words, as he declared his love for Toke and asked her to marry him. Toke, the hopeless romantic we heard, just melted in the embrace of love and accepted whole-hearted.

Now that part 1 is out of the way. The duo are keeping their other plans very close to their hearts, but be sure we would give you all the details as they unveil. Congratulations to them.

Contrary to the ongoing rumours about a quiet engagement ceremony said to have happened between the very gorgeous OAP with Rhythm Fm-Miss Toke Makinwa and her sweetheart of several years- Maje Ayida-one of the sons of the great Super Permanent secretary of yore. Miss Makinwa has come out to deny any of such happening, in her own words lastnite, after we called her to say our heartfelt congratulations, she denied having done any engagement whatsoever & that the rumours was the figment of the imaginations of those carrying the rumours and a total lie.
