Gradually, gracefully and quite steadily at it, without unnecessarily batting an eyelid, our very own highly celebrated celebutante of extraordinary proportion, by that we mean 'her royal swaggerliciousness', Nigeria's nos 1 petite bombshell of the awesome kind, is growing the brand, extending her tentacles, expanding her horizon, creating more higher steps to climb atop and quietly making the money by adding many more zeros to her already bulging accounts in several banks.

Just yesterday, Monday, November 11, 2019 to be more precise, she gleefully and gracefully announced to the world her newest money making collaboration, money making venture, as she is the newest ambassador/face of OPPO, the phone brand that was a major sponsor of the last Big Bro franchise, that was tagged "Pepperdem Gang'.

The way it is, it's like Omotoke Makinwa is the first face of the brand in the country, even the winner of the Big Bro Reality Series 2019, in the person of the yummy Mercy Eke hasn't even gotten a deal like this yet. So Toke getting it done, is a big deal and it shows how her stock is getting premium value.

This collaboration takes it several notches up for Toke, as a real deal influencer. We had thought about it a while ago, that what are you 'supposedly influencing' truly, if you are not collaborating with a brand worth its salt as either the face of such or its ambassador or in some other capacity. So now with this deal, the influencer and celebrity with over 3.1m followers on Ig alone, has shone that her passion and dedication has finally paid off and paid off handsomely too at that. This is obviously a multimillion Naira deal.

As the new face of Oppo phones in Nigeria, in fact the first face of the brand in Nigeria if we are correct, she would be the ambassador of their super slick, highest premium quality phone till date which is the 'Oppo Reno 2'. The Oppo Reno 2 is a premium phone in their range, like we have already made mention above with a standard 48 mega pixel back phone, which is like one of the highest in the world presently and it's a super fast phone too, using snapdragon 730G chipset (8nm), packing a staggering 8GB RAM memory and a storage capacity that can be expanded to 256gb, that's not for kids, for those who understands phones well. The body features are also very beautiful too, maybe it's one of the reasons the brand owners have thought to connect with the 'chic with the porcelain skin', whose time to shine has really come. When we tagged her as our very own 'Kylie Jenner' in the making, some were sniggering than and saying how can that be possible. Seems like the journey has begun in earnest right in their faces. Hmmmmmm Doubters beware!

So even if just for the fun and laughter, she brings our way, by her effort, we must celebrate her.

Any way or any how one wants  look at it, however that you want to gauge it, the small gal BIG God damsel, has paid her dues, or better still is paying her dues. Pun intended. You don't get the kind of massive reviews and critique she gets, if you are not somebody! Or if you don't count or you are just sleeping permanently not amounting to anything or plain dead. It's only the dead that doesn't get spoken of, that is soon forgotten!!!!

Omotoke Makinwa... Toke Makinwa for short, TM to some, our or the ultimate Nigerian princess of swaggerliciousness, the petite bombshell petrel of our time, the princess or is it empress of hotness/sassiness🔥, the real, undisputed queen of highlights, the in your face, lifestyle entrepreneur, the social media celebrity like someone called her, the soon to be our own Kylie Jenner. The one who seemingly, somewhat, kind of, uses criticisms and envy as a stool to climb to higher heights, is a year older today.

Better put, she is 420 months old today, meaning she's 12775 days old, meaning she's 306600 hours old. And all of that just translates to that, she's 35 years old today, Sunday, November 3, 2019 the first Sunday of November 2019.

She was born many many years back on 'Saturday', November 3, 1984, which is in fact a leap year, that's if there's any special significance to a leap year. Maybe that's the reason her name is special, as Omotoke evokes the beauty and value of a child. If one would be ambiguous in thought, maybe because she was born on that last day of the week-the Saturday-God's day of rest, heralding a new week, a new dawn, which a Sunday, maybe that's the reason for why her 🌟 star seems to shine a little more, more than that of others..... so good and so distinct too.

Just imagine the combo of a Saturday, of a leap year!

To say too much, would be like one is doing unnecessary repetitions of a whole load of things that many have said already before. So to mark her 35th, the lifestyle entrepreneur/OAP/author and so much more, who knows the best way to use every given opportunity to her own advantage, decided to mark it with the launch of a new collection of her TM luxury bag. But before that instead of just receiving presents from her family and friends and admirers, who are just too numerous, she too thought to do a special thing, when she gifted her PA a car for her loyalty, dedication and hard work.

So on this occasion of her 35th birthday, we have thought to say a very healthy happy birthday to the gorgeous 5 ft 1 giant of a lady, who we believe would still continue to dazzle the world many more years to come.

She's undoubtedly one of Nigeria's authentic 'influencers', if you doubt that pedigree, sign her on to see if you would be proven correct or wrong. For one to have 2.1 million followers now in Nigeria ain't no joke at all, even we our self attests to that fact. For you to better understand it, Linda Ikeji is just 2.5 million followers, while the famous instablog9ja is just 1.7million.

The totally in your face celebrity, OAP, author, businesswoman is a Scorpion, star sign Scorpio without a doubt. She loves been seen, she enjoys the attention that fame and stardom brings and she obviously must be smiling to the banks for it.

She has just clocked 34, that calculates to mean she came to this plain in 1984, and in just 30 plus years of existence, she has seen, still seeing, she's done a bit and she's still doing more and she's conquering, more and more everyday. What she's packed already into her 34 years of existence, might take some a whole lifetime to put together, so love her or not, she deserves some accolades.

She's one of those people that must have picked the Kardashian family as a model, especially Kimberly Kardashian-West and Kylie Jenner as models. Though one can simply argue that those 2 or the entire family loves attention. That they seek and crave the attention to the point of craziness, but let's look at it objectively and also from the business point of view, while many might not necessarily like them, while many might just see them through the moral compass and don't see them as exact moral models, they all without a shadow of doubt are millionaires with far-flunged influences. In fact, some are multimillionaires many times over and one in under just a decade is actually on the verge of becoming a dollar billionaire pretty soon!!!!

So like the Kardashians, so is Omotoke (a child worthy of care) Makinwa, good or bad attention, attention is just what it is, attention. And she's just smiling home to the banks for it, not necessarily minding whose ox is gored.

DESPITE THE CONSTANT SCRUTINY OMOTOKE MAKINWA IS SET ON GLOBAL DOMINATION

In her own little way, she has conquered to a certain extent her world. She is already a well recognised and well known celebrity worth her salt. A respected OAP to a certain level and a best selling author to add to the mix, while also being an acknowledged influencer of note, one of the biggest at that if what we hear is anything to go by. So by that alone, her fan base must be in the millions and in our world of social media millionaires now, she's raking in the dough, left, right and center and having a good time at it.

There are very, very many, who are always excitedly feeding on or ready to feed on, the package by the 21st century media phenomenon known to Nigerians and other Africans, across the globe as OMOTOKE MAKINWA!

We can bet that one of Toke's acclaimed idol, Kim Kardashian wouldn't in anyway be disappointed by her trajectory, all in the span of less than a decade.

What that just says mainly is that If you believe in something as much as you should, and you are focused on making it succeed in the face of everything, not minding or seeing the obstacles on your way, not minding the snide remarks that could come from your quest to be at the top of the ladder, not minding to swim through the gutters and midst of sharks, or jump the hills etc, then the sky is just your beginning.

Our very own Omotoke, placed her best foot forward in her purple above the knee or better still knife over the knee, Balenciaga Spandex Boots ($1850) worn with her supremely sexy white top looking all fly, like she was late star acting bombshell with the blonde Marilyn Monroe strutting with grace and oomph on New York Streets. Let's not lie at all, Toke's style game since about a year ago, going 2 years now has totally gone outta the roof. If at any point, an authentic most stylish or best dressed list ever comes up, she would feature very strongly in and on it and she might even carry tops in her age range group at that. And the way we see it, she's not relenting on the oomph anytime soon, at least till the earth shall cease to exist.

We can also predict that most likely, another best selling book might be in the offing again soon, this time most likely talking about how to dominate your space, no matter what. So apart from featuring her New York New York pictures, we have also showcased about 2 or 3 more outstanding shots of her in some other outstanding pieces too, to show that Toke the original Tokstar is a style maven without conpare.

So one of Nigeria's top "IT" girls, "can she still be called or referred to as a gal anymore"? Clocked 33 yesterday, Friday, November 4, 2017 and to celebrate the birthday and the day, she had what was termed a "classy party", with a classy set of peeps, at the very beautiful and classy "Clear Essence Spa Place" on Alexander in Ikoyi, Lagos. 

In attendance were many of her friends, likes of Mo Abudu (much older friend), Elohor Aisien, Bolinto, Nnenna Okoye, Noble Igwe and his wife, Ebuka Obi Ochendo and his wife, Ifeoma Williams, Arese, Denola Grey, Tarmar Awobotu, Freda Francis, Tola Odunsi, Omawumi, Waje, Mr. MoashStyling, ace comedian Bovi, IK Osakioduwa who doubles as the host for the event and very many other friends and well-wishers. It was only us at MM that wasn't invited Lol!!! We don't feel any bad about it though LWKUD!!!

According to those in attendance, it was a classy party all the way and it was fun galore all through as it lasted till about 3am in the morning. It was a great selection of fun loving guests gathered together in a beautiful ambience and venue, and every other things one could add to garnish something already well packaged were done. 

Birthday gal herself was the cynosure of all eyes, as she wowed all comers in her special birthday garb/outfit a "short Balmain sequinned dress" said to have cost her somewhat near "a Million Naira", which she finished off with much aplomb in her pair of stupendously gorgeous Christian Louboutin shoes, it was Oomph raised to the power of 💯. She shimmered, shone and razzled dazzled everyone in no small way. 

Toke truly has arrived and no one, no matter status, bad bellicks or connect can stop her shine, so naysayers go hug transformers Lol. 

It has been a rollercoaster ride like year for this delectable media personality. From the pain and anguish of the irretrievable breakdown of her marriage to her former beau to the divorce, to the success of her book launch, which somewhat propelled her career to another level, to the other many successes and now to her 33rd birthday, she's gone through it all. (Her name Omotoke is a very strong Yoruba name which evokes that the child born, is a "Special One" that would be especially cared for and loved. So it's like that love radiates around her from all corners and comers. So on this special occasion of her born day, which was "November 4, 1984" her friends and associates yesterday rallied around her in good support to wish her the very best and a very happy 33rd birthday.

We are most definitely the happiest people on earth for this couple; why wouldn't we be after about 11 years plus of on today, break-off tomorrow shenanigans. Both have finally saved us plenty of blushes by finally sorting themselves out and getting married, what a relief. So no more unnecessary twitter exchanges? No more breaking up for the silliest of excuses. It is most definitely now, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in good health or nasty health, till death do them part, super fantastic. 


Like you all have read everywhere already, it was a private registry wedding. And like Toke has said to us all, she didn't know it was coming (rolling our eyes in disbelief), but she must have planned for it one way or the other, as she wore an appropriate creation by April by Kunbi for the deed and she also had a few of her friends there to witness somehow.  Curiously, where was Ope Makinwa?

Anyways, we love you both and wish you the very best from the bottom of our hearts. May the good Lord obliterate every obstacles in your way and may He also bless the union with an abundance of 'fruitfulness', as much as you want and can imagine. 

Little advise- unlike before that all your 'business' were laid open for the public to enjoy, now is the time to close shop and have your affairs in private and with maturity, as that's only way a marriage can last. 

We hope to celebrate the little bambino(s) sometime soon, maybe in October or November, if not earlier. 

A question before we forget, are we still having that destination white wedding like you had planned for last year? Or this is just it? We want owambe oooooooooooo.

We heard that Toke was in a store trying out this 'SEXY' outfit recently. The black ensemble had this totally sheer top, except for the patches covering the boobs and a glittering pant. Our gorgeous Toke is seen checking out herself inside the store.

How we forgot to mention this still baffles us. Must have skipped our minds. Anyways better late than never at all. Early last month, February 2, 2013 to be more precise, the gorgeous  Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Miss Omotoke Makinwa, or like we love to call Miss Delish, had a very quiet introduction ceremony.

The intro, like we all know is sequel to the Engagement/Traditional Wedding Ceremony and the mother of it all, the white wedding. The lucky dude is still her beau of many years now Maje Ayida.  The cool couple have both decided to settle the matter this year and take the plunge.

So the journey towards matrimony has already begun in earnest, according to the snippets we have gotten, the engagement/traditional wedding is definitely upcoming before the 3rd quarter of the year. Some have even speculated that it's going to be a summer wedding, between the months of July & September, 2013. 

Our bird in the air, whose antennas can gather info from far & wide, whose eyes also see all and whose information are always authentic, says it's most likely going to be a destination wedding.
Where it would be precisely, the bird is still digging.

So from us here at MM. We wish both Maje & Toke well and we are eagerly waiting for our own wedding invitation. May the Lord keep safe the dates for you guys. Amen!

WELCOME TO THE BATTLE OF THE SHEER. IT'S OMOTOKE VS FERGIE

It's a straight battle between the 2 fly weight contenders. On the right hand is none other than the delightsomely gorgeous OAP at Rhythm 93.7FM, Miss Omotoke Makinwa, a clothes horse, who is still in her 20's and has that smoky, beautiful voice that mesmerizes daily on the radio. 

Her opponent is the gorgeous American lead singer of the famous group, The Black Eyed Peas. She combines a lot of punch, she's not just a singer, but also a songwriter, a rapper, a fashion designer, TV host and an actress. At 37, she's still as gorgeous, as they come. 

What's the bone of contention? It' the battle of Sheer flyweight belt. Who wore their own sheer ensemble best. While Toke's red number was from one of the collections of House Of Nwocha, where Ugonna Omeruo, is the creative design genius. Fergie's outfit designer is not known by us. 

So who do you guy's think deserves the belt. Omotoke or Fergie? You all decide.
