Over a thousand people, made up of different nationalities (Africans, Caribbeans, Europeans, Indians, Chinese, celebrities all based in the UK, at the weekend gathered together in front of the Nigerian High Commission office in London to show their anger and displeasure as a collective concerning the plight of the abducted 200 plus girls in Chibok, in Borno State. 


The gathering was also to show support for the #bringbackourgirls campaign which has gained a lot of support from all the different parts of the world. 

Top TV stations in the UK, the likes of the BBC, ITV & Channel 4 covered the protest live.

On the stage at several intervals were the superstar himself, but supported by Sound Sultan, Dammy Krane, May7ven, Moe Logo & VickySola. The concert was hosted by Abrantee.

 The indig02 Arena in London, last night Sunday, October 17, 2013 was packed full as the place hosted the the annual Afrobeat Festival 2013.

On the bill at the event this year were May7ven, Tiwa Savage & the very original Awilo, the waist twister original. 

All the stars did justice to the the pre-show hype as they gave performances of their lives. The sexy & delicious May7ven, who is Segun' the mathematical' Odegbami's daughter was as delicious as always, sonorously gifted Tiwa was also 5 star & Awilo is always a delight to watch. As usual the CEO Dancers were out of this world.

Path to Possibilities; a UK registered charity committed to transforming the lives of disadvantaged but talented children in Nigeria, is hosting its annual charity gala on Saturday 18th August 2012 at the prestigious 5* Grange City Hotel in Tower Hill, London.

 

A top class performance is expected from the father of British neo soul Omar, the 1st lady of Afro beats May7ven and sassy songstress Saeon serenading the guests as they enjoy a range of entertainment and dine on a three course meal.

 

The soiree is also designed to include a spectacular fashion show by renowned fashion designer Nkwo; unveiling her beautiful Afro centric collection. The line up of designers also includes the super talented milliner, Emma Brown, who trained with the milliner to the late Queen Mother. And to cap it all, Jezreel Designs will be showcasing their captivating and expressive handbag range.

 

“This event has been designed to provide maximum entertainment to our guests as well as provide a solid platform for generating awareness about the education crisis and immense talent in Nigeria.” stated Titilola Bello, founder of the charity.
