FAB Magazine Issue 10 Twilight Issue Out Now in Digital and Print

 FAB Magazine is out with a much ‘darker’ issue, The Twilight Issue, which is out on Apple, Android and web platforms from today and hits newsstands, in its print form, on 8 February 2013.

 

Inspired by the end of a season and the beginning of a new one, Twilight Issue celebrates endings as signs of new beginnings. 

 

The Twilight Issue sees FAB Magazine go back to fashion covers with two exciting avantgarde shoots while there is plenty more fashion inside with a whopping 45 pages of editorials and 24 pages of trends from African and international runways. 

That’s not all though when it comes to fashion; in line with our theme, in FAB Icons we remember a FAB fashion icon, Remi Oshalake of Remi Lagos who passed away in late 2012, while in FAB Spotlight we celebrate fresh talent, Abuja based designer Stephanie Okeke behind the label Sally Intiego who, at the age of 17, has already showcased her work across the globe.

Another FAB Icon we meet on a London-Lagos red-eye at 30,000 feet is the inspirational Nigerian media mogul Ben Murray-Bruce who talks business, politics and life.

 

Also gracing the FAB pages this issue are the fab and fly Virgin Atlantic Nigerian cabin crew who dazzle us with their striking uniforms, dazzling smiles and overwhelming charm.

REMI LAGOS BURIAL DETAILS RELEASED

Many can still not yet believe the ever smiling designer is gone to the great beyond. Try as much as we want, we all must accept the fact that she's gone to rest, away from all the troubles, struggles, strife of this life. 

The kind-hearted lady who favours black passed on at the weekend, November 3, 2012 after a protracted battle with Utherine Cancer, she had been undergoing chemotherapy when she gave up the ghost. Her burial details has been released. 

Lying-in-state: Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 10am till 7pm. JH Kenyon, Westbourne Grove, W24 UL.

Funeral Service: Friday, November 16, 2012, from 3pm. The Golders Green Crematorium, Hoop Lane, NW11 7NL.

Reception: 5 till 7.30pm. The Gore Hotel, 190, Queens Gate, SW7 5EX. 

Lagos Reception & Tribute: December 6, 2012, Landmark Village, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos from 6pm. 

Remi Osolake, had her last fashion showcase in August of 2012, at the Africa Fashion Week London 2012, it was a glorious showcase, her swan song kind of. May her Soul rest in peace.

REMI LAGOS IS BACK & SLAMMING- WOWS ALL AT AFWL 2012

It was like resurgence kind of for the brand known to all as Remi Lagos. Prior to this showcase it was like she had gone on hibernation. But by the time her showcase ended at the AFWL 2012. It was like she never went away, apparently she had been cooking some fantastic style dish in background all the while and it took the AFWL 2012 platform for her to serve all, what had been simmering all the while. Boy! Was it well served and everyone really lapped it up. A very big kudos to the veteran. Check out her showcase.
