NIGERIAN LADY RAKES UP £10,000 BILL OVER BABY'S BIRTH IN THE UK

wysthenshawe hospital
An unnamed Nigerian lady is said to have played a fast on one of the top hospitals in Manchester, UK after giving birth to her baby & the total cost to the NHS a whooping £10,000 Pounds. The heavily pregnant lady was said to have arrived in the UK and went straight to the Manchester Airport from where she went directly to Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester, where she claimed to doctors that she had complications with her pregnancy. She had told the doctors that an ultrasound she had already done before in Nigeria, had revealed complications with her pregnancy and a caesarean was advised.

She was attended to by 2 midwives, 2 Urology consultants, 2 obstetric consultants, 2 anesthetists and a radiology consultant, a caesarean section was immediately performed and she gave birth to a very healthy baby without any complications whatsoever. Her bill came to about £10,000 and when they sought her information for billing, they hit a brick wall.  According to the little info they had the lady was Harvard trained.

The most insulting aspect of the whole story is what was written about the state of health of Nigeria's health care system- Hear their assessment-
'Nigeria offers free maternity treatment but the quality of the care is very poor and there is a high mortality rate. A woman there (Nigeria) has a one in 13 chance of dying during pregnancy or childbirth, according to recent statistics'.

Already an Inquiry has being ordered by MPs and the lady has being branded a thief (in their words- effectively stealing from the British Taxpayers). Hear one of the MPs-
‘This is simply a foreigner choosing to effectively steal off the NHS and the Government should use whatever powers it has to get the money back.’

The hospital in question is particular struggling now because of funds and part of the money normally allocated to the hospital has been cut short by about £17.5 Million Pounds this year.  A Nigerian lady Bimbo Aiyelabola had given birth last year to quintuplets in the UK at the cost of a whooping £200,000 Pounds to the British taxpayers, so added to this new one last week, it has alerted the British Government to a trend they wouldn't want to allow to continue.

Nigerians keep dragging the name down the mud. Why cant she do a payment plan and pay off the bill in one year and leave a good name for herself.

is it by force to have a baby abroad .
