Many super duper weddings are upcoming for the forthcoming month of April. Why the people have chosen to have their weddings in the April, which is the fourth month we do not know.
To open the month in one of the weddings that would most likely be one of the nuptial ceremonies of the year, is the wedding of the daughter of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria, in the person of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Jonathan.
Come Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1pm in Otuoke, Bayelsa State of Nigeria. Our beloved President would play host to several State Governors, Ministers, Service Cheifs, Royal fathers, top Government functionaries, Ambassadors, Business Moguls, and top CEOs & Chairmen of Conglomerates and the high society of Nigeria, as he gives out the hand of his daughter Faith Elizabeth Sakwe in marriage (albeit traditional) to Prince Godswill Osim Edward.
The traditional joining together of these 2 hearts to become one, would be at the newly refurbished expansive compound of His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR. Just in case you haven't received the very gorgeous purple invite that has some gold lettering, you can call on Mrs. Yemisi Oyewole at +234 80554..... who is one of the RSVPs. Thereafter the traditional engagement, the couple, family members and friends would now move on to Abuja, the FCT on Saturday, April 12, 2014 to round off the whole ceremonies with a superlative church wedding and grand reception at the International Conference Center, Herbert Macaulay Way, Abuja. We can bet that the President wouldn't spend a Kobo to host a 7-star event as many would fall all over themselves to impress him.

Also set to have a superlative engagement on the same date as the daughter of the Nigerian President is the very gorgeous daughter of the Country Chair and Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd, Dr. Mutiu Sunmonu. Omotola Sunmonu would have her engagement ceremony to Oladele Balogun, at the Ark Event Center, Block 2, Plot 3, Okunde Blue Water Zone, Off Remi Olowude Street, starting by 12 noon. The colour code for the day is Bride: Silver & Aqua & Groom: Burnt Orange & Peach.
With the caliber of the people involved, one should expect a super duper wedding of the best kind. We hear that good money would be put to good use on the date and that style itself would personally appear to show off.
We hear that the white wedding is set for London, United Kingdom on Saturday, April 26, 2014. You need to see the invitation card for this London one, like you all know about destination weddings etc this one is a strictly by invitation card event.

Another big upcoming wedding at least judging by the capabilities of the 2 families involved is set for Sunday, April 20, 2014 and it would be at the famous party landmark known by all as the Olorunishola Estate.
It's the Nikkai ceremony between one of Chief Razaq Akanni Okoya's most brilliant daughter, Hadiza & the heir to the Alao-Akala multi-millions in the person of Olamiju Alao-Akala. Though the introduction ceremony in January 2014 was supposedly a family affair, the turn out was unprecedented. So how would the engagement & Nikkai turn out? Knowing the Okoya's very well, they wouldn't spare any expense to make it a one in town party and knowing the former Governor of Oyo State, the flamboyant money bag from Ogbomosho is not a push over in any way, he would want to give his heir a massive wedding to make a statement. So come April 20, 2014, it is most assuredly going to be a carnival. PDP would also want to outshine APC.

Another massive April wedding upcoming is the one between sonorous Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage & her handsome beau, Tunji 'TeeBillz' Balogun, which is set for Dubai, in the UAE on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
If what we saw at the traditional wedding ceremony late last year is anything to go by, then this Dubai wedding is most definitely going to be a massive carnival in that part of the world. We are expecting to see the Nollywood industry and the top music stars from Nigeria & Ghana in their numbers at the occasion, not yet counting family members from around the world and other friends that would converge at the venue.
It's one wedding we are eagerly looking forward to see.

She's GEJ and Patience adopted daughter. Last weekend, my friend in London called me "Hey, am sure PH is full of celebs at Psquare wedding, good tourism for you all". I told her wait till 2 weeks and our neighbouring state will host bigger people. I didn't want to say that here before they say MBG knows too much!
