HELEN OMORODION INEGBENIKI AT 4 DECADES & FOUR

Mrs. Helen Nwanne Inegbeniki nee Omorodion, is a very well known lady who needs no plenty or highfalutin introduction. A wealthy woman by all standards, both on her own by virtue of her own family, she's one of the children of the Odunanoba of Benin Kingdom, Prince Dr. Henry Omorodion and the sister to a her late billionaire elder sibling Prince Terry Uche Omorodion and then well consolidated by virtue of the fact that she is the wife of mercurial businessman and oil and gas money bag, Chief Francis Inegbeniki, the owner of Ineh Oil, who is a also a real estate juggernaut whom she got married to in 2014 at a most lavish (outlandish) of ceremonies, that got everyone's attention, due to the perceived amount of money that must have been spent to make it happen. Helen's mom is Barrister Chief (Mrs.)Philomena Omorodion, SAN aka Nwabuogho who would be 66 come July of 2020.

Over the years, anything, be it party, event of any kind that the Omorodion's or Inegbeniki hosts, were always a must be at. People always used to fall over themselves to get the invites or to be invited to their dos. All their parties were always off the hook, tipping the scale and extravagant, quite outlandish to put it lightly. And when we say extravagant, we aren't just talking about the plush food and drinks made available; by extravagance we mean in all ramifications, that includes the gifts that are given to those lucky enough to attend.

Just imagine parties where televisions, mobile phones, small fridges and other things are shared lavishly. Hmmmmmmm, so you now very well understand what we mean by positive extravagance. The food and drinks were a given. So the scramble for the invites were always epic.

So just juxtapose such expected lavishness side by side the quietude that now obtains in the life of the same person, as the lady of the house, who is the elder sibling of Nollywood practitioner, Lisa Omorodion, is 44 today.

She seem to have adopted this her more circumspect lifestyle since her beloved, very handsome and quite wealthy elder brother passed on due to complications of illness nor too too long ago. His untimely and painful passing hit the family very hard as he was a much loved person and a pillar of strength to all, in a closely knit family.

So today on her 44th birthday, instead of the expected jamboree like party that all were expecting, it's more like an exclusive dinner instead, to celebrate her hitting 2 scores and 4 years.

The D-day is Saturday, January 11, 2020 of the year of our Lord. And on that date all roads would lead to the palatial edifice of Chief Dr. Razak Akanni Okoya, CON, which is known to most as 'Oluwa ni shola' (God alone makes wealth) Estate. 'Baba Okoya' as some fondly call him, would be clocking the grand old age of 80, that is 4 scores, which is 8 decades on earth! An achievement by all standards. So the party to celebrate him becoming an octogenarian, welcoming him into a class or league of those in their 80s, promises to be epic or better still colossal.

The unrivaled Billionaire industrialist, who is the brain behind and founder of the quite popular 'Eleganza Industries' (Group of Companies) and RAO Property has been in our eyes and on the scene now for very many decades. His has been the story of steady but sure-footed growth till he became the industrial giant he has been for too long now. What has become this oak tree yielding awesome fruits, began with a seed fund of just £70. £20 pounds that he saved all by himself and the other £50 his blessed mother added to it. And in his life's journey he has won many awards too for his hardwork, consistency, perseverance and more.

His younger wife, Dr. Mrs Folashade Okoya who Allah has blessed immensely since she got married to Baba Tunde, with 4 brilliant kids to the boot, is the one that is now the overall boss of that vast company.

Aare Razak Akanni Okoya aka RAO was born on January 12, 1940 in Isale Eko, Lagos Island  here. Chief Okoya is the eldest and the male of the two kids of his parents, his other sibling is his beautiful sister Wosilat Demola Seriki.

Aare has at least 11 kids between his 2 wives and still has other kids from his other former wives too, about 4 of them. Making 6 women in all-Alhaja Kuburat-7. Ajoke, Yetunde, Jennifer, Zainab and Folashade-4.

The impressive Folashade, who is Chief's last wife, who he has also commended greatly for her immense love and extreme loyalty to him is leaving no stone unturned to make sure its another party to look forward to. The Okoya's have been known for many years now to throw some of the best parties/shindigs around. From when they used to live at Ikoyi Crescent residence till now at the vast Oluwa-ni-shola edifice. So Shade is making sure to dot her i and cross her t. The beautiful invitation is already going out.

So we nearly forgot whose day it is today. But it's better late than never at all. Today like is well reflected on the title board is the 32nd birthday of the super gorgeous, super stylish, awesomely humble and very well to do, 2nd wife, Olori (Queen) Hadiza Saheed Elegushi. That's talking about the 2nd wife of his royal majesty (Alayeluwa), Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Kusenla III, who is the Elegushi of Ikateland and environs.

Kabiyesi, Oba Elegushi had gotten married to his delightsome new wife then at a Kano ceremony a few months ago. That was private but that was totally off the hook in all ways. The beautiful surprise traditional nuptial in that ancient town had surprised everyone when it happened, as it caught a lot of people napping, much so that some even actually did their best to deny that such a nuptial had taken place at all. Thank God that pictures don't lie!

This platform, that is, our esteemed Maestro's Media platform was actually one of the few platforms then that had reported accurately that a nuptial had actually happened as a matter of  and fact, we were even reporting it as it was happening in the day. And now again, we can tell you categorically that, except of they decide to put it off deliberately, sometime soon in the new year, that is 2020, God willing, the Lagos end of what had begun in Kano, would take place with far more fanfare than the one that attended that Northern one. It promises to be a mega nuptial of the highest proportion, we knowing fully well that the kind of party that would make all others look like a parlor event. You all know very well that no one can beat Lagos when it comes to showing off, hence why it is said "Eko for Show"!

So today, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 is the 32nd birthday of the former Hadiza Tanko Yakasai. And in appreciation of his lovely 2nd wife, just like the King did in November when his Olori (Iyale) Sekinat Aramide added a year, kabiyesi who is rather becoming a love poet of a sort now went lyrical again, exclaiming his love for Hadiza his beloved new wife without a chill, declaring his endless love and praying for her too, Saying.......

THAT GRAND 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF GRACE OSIME.

It was a 'super' duper Grand 50th birthday party/celebration of the super gorgeous Grace Osime at 12 Temple yesterday, Monday, August 26, 2019.

The venue of the very well attended Monday evening party is owned by the current Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Dr. Dapo Abiodun who is a good friend of the family.  12 Temple as the place is referred to, used to be the meeting & melting point of the who-is-who & very well heeled, before the Governor now went fully into politics and came out as the Governor of Ogun State, which is the 2nd most visible South-Western state in Nigeria. The place is a top notch event venue for top class gatherings.

According to those who attended the Monday classy shindig- "it was an off the hook party by all standards". The guest even said it themselves, "that it was a grand party with all the works". Meaning Grace, the incredibly well mannered, mother of one super smart daughter, made sure no stone was left unturned to host her high caliber guests and family members to a super party.

From the live band to the highly inspired deejay and things. With the choicest of food and drinks in abundance. The guest-list had all the usual suspects of her friends, friends of friends, friends of her big sister and younger sister in attendance. The style maven by name Ruth Osime who is the Editor of This Day Style and the elder sister of the celebrant was in her element as she and others heartily celebrated her younger sibling. She really moved to the beat, showing off her dexterity on the dance floor. It is obvious that the family is a close knit one in everyway.

As expected the birthday lady known to be very very stylish-we can even testify to that fact personally too, some even already refer to her as a style icon, dazzled like a thousand stars on her day as she was the cynosure of all eyes. Said to be a 'gem' trader of high repute, the super stylish lady, whose badass shoe collection is to die for, we even heard that it can rival any fashionistas worth their salt from any part of the world, was very on point and must have spent quite a lot to make this party happen.

Earlier in the day, prior to the evening/night classy party, the family and friends had gone to the church to do a special thanksgiving in celebration of Grace's 50th. Then later in the evening was the gathering of eagles to dance and make merry as they back-slapped & clinked glasses with bubbly hailing Grace.

Sir Olu Okeowo is a man of outstanding taste and distinction and that shows in everything he does, be it the houses he builds, his own personal home and the cars he really rides. The huge man of means, known more for his collection of mind blowing cars and humonguous home, better known to all as the 'Palacios de Okeowo', reputed to be the biggest, most intimidating and most interesting home in the whole of Ikoyi. Which in Nigeria, is known as the enclave of the super rich.

The palatial edifice that would in fact leave most mouth of the super rich wide open in bewilderness is built on several hectares about 5 hectares of prime land and it over looks the sea or is it the lagoon at the back. View is better experienced than spoke about. We have been to the house, the building, the palatial home or describe it however you want to, a couple of times now and all that we can readily say or that we can sincerely say from our spirit is that, the owner of the property, intentionally built it the way it is, to intimidate, to announce and show it off to all, it's like saying out very loudly- "I am a man of means all others must take notice of".

The inside of the home is as ostentatious, grossly ostentatious as you can describe. The decor and things inside can only be described as vulgar to the limit. That huge and ornamental dining table is vulgar. The grand piano like those in the church with all the pipes is vulgar. It is just what some people would readily describe as "loud for a purpose".

Just imagine that as you enter into the massive compound and just immediately to your left, what gets your attention is the showroom of humongous machines or should we say breathtaking cars.

At least not less than 5 intimidating signature or custom built Rolls Royce of several hues and colours and designs are in that deliberately intimidating garage, that would build several homes for many thousands to live in. Then also apart from the many double-toned Rolls Royces which couldn't have cost less than $1.8m dollars, are about 2 or 3 awesomely outstanding Bentleys, one of which is the Bentley Mulsane extended wheel base of about $400,000, which has just only 50 of it ever built in the world, meaning it's a limited edition series and the 13th of which Okeowo, the name that loosely translates to mean "custodian of wealth" used to celebrate his birthday about 2 years ago, when he clocked 40 something, though it was later claimed to be 52 (we believe them).

Still talking about that garage you still have there the G-Wagon, the Range Rover, the Cadillac Escalade. And then there are several other normal cars that litters the compound too. All of these cars couldn't have cost the property czar less than between & 2.5 to & 3m dollars, in today's estimate that would be pushing between N900million to N1.08billion on cars alone.

The amount above, whichever you choose between N900 & N1.08billion is already so huge, but the man of means is not still relenting at all neither satisfied and we hear that for his upcoming birthday he has already ordered for another badass Rolls Royce which is costing him between N300 to N400million as he is set to pay a whopping N40million Naira as duty which for the dude is a major dilemma.

From what we have deduced, though both men of means have never said anything like there's a competition between them, it seems like there's a quiet competition between Nigeria's ultimate Mr. Rolls Royce, Dr. Boluwasanmi Akin-Olugbade, who is the Aare Ona kankanfo of Owu Kingdom, in Egba, who is probably the nos 1 collector of Rolls Royce cars in Nigeria and the property tycoon/owner of Gibraltar Construction, Sir Olu Okeowo. Either there's a healthy competition of a sort or that Sir Okeowo has just fashioned himself after the Aare of Owu, who is on his 10th Rolls Royce as at the last count in January of 2019. Sir Okeowo is on his 5th or 6th and if the new one comes in eventually for the birthday, then it's going to be his 6th or 7th then.

Sir Olu Okeowo is only known for his edifice and car collection and also because he is said to be a church philanthropist as he is a knight of the Anglican church (John Wesley)

She was born April 25.1977.m to Alhaji Taju and Alhaja Nimosat Adeleye of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. She was just 21 when she got married to the multi-millionaire (billionaire) 2 decades ago and it has been a super fruitful 20 years all round indeed in their household. A period of extraordinary blissful coexistence of the best kind.

WHEN MRS. FLORENCE AJIMOBI OUTGOING 1ST LADY OF OYO CLOCKED 60 & THE LAVISH PARTY TO CELEBRATE THE MILESTONE.

This family, that's talking about the outgoing 1st family of Oyo State, the Ajimobis, led by their patriarch in the person of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Executive Governor of the pacesetter state have enjoyed an 8 year period of bliss (with some occasional bleeps) in Governance. That's talking about 8 birthdays of all kinds that were celebrated & also a few very lavish weddings too and some other occasions and events too. From when the 1st lady was just 52 years old, when they just came to rule then, till now that she's going away at just 60 years of age these family have enjoyed great attention and they have reveled in it. Madam is still as gorgeous as they come. Dr. Mrs. Ajimobi as truly and very obviously taken care of herself over the years very well.

So in a way this particular birthday, though highly significant because madam has now joined the 60s club (she's now a sexagenarian), it was also some form of send off or send forth for the family. As this was going to be one of the last major celebrations they would have whilst still in Government. So no stone was left unturned to make sure that this was lavish, epic or standout in all ramifications. It was an occasion that was awashed with plenty of prayers, with loads of praise and worship songs. In fact, the guest artiste of the day was none other than the world famous gospel crooner Sinach, who serenaded the birthday mama with her powerful and soul lifting voice. It was a very happy mood all through. The quick gloom from the earlier disappointment of not winning the elections in Oyo State, especially as the Governor was denied powerfully the opportunity of going back again to the Senate seem to have disappeared totally. Now it's all about relief. What does he want again when money is over available like an unlimited fountain that can't be stopped?

Madam in her speech at the occasion was especially magnanimous in her appreciation of her loving husband, who she praised to high heavens and the whole family too. Though madam is a practising Christian, a catholic by upbringing, who is said to be half Lebanese, her husband is a practising Moslem, but both live so good together they should be an example of harmonious living for all.

The 60 year old 1st lady was born in Benin, the capital of the then Bendel state on 'April 5, 1959' to the Hajaig family from Lebanon. So she is née Florence Hajaig. She grew up and schooled in in the ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and is in fact an Ibadan woman to the core. She had all her schooling in Ibadan, from the primary at "Bodija International School, Ibadan" to the secondary at "Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Ibadan" to the tertiary at "The Polytechnic, Ibadan" where she got her degree in Secretarial Studies and Management. Her work career also began in Ibadan too. The mother of 5 adorable children, 4 girls (women) with Abisola Kolapo Daisi as the eldest & a boy (man) who is married to Fatima Ajimobi née Ganduje. She married her doting husband who she's extremely close to till tomorrow in 1980.

It was dance galore at a point during the party, and Abisola being a hotstepper of note, gave the usual good account of herself doing the music good justice.

First of, let's tell you all categorically that Dakore Egbuson-Akande is beautiful inside and outside. And we say that with all sense of responsibility. We are not mincing words either too. And she's also a consummate professional to the core too.

On this occasion of her big 4-0, being born on October 14, 1978 we would have loved to wax exceptionally lyrical by spewing out much epistles, but we have found out that the truth doesn't need colouration at all and doesn't have to be so long and so much.
