WHEN KIKA OSUNDE TOOK OVER PARIS FOR HER BIRTHDAY & DAZZLED ALL COMERS

Kika Osunde is not an unknown to regular readers of this outstanding platform. Some would even refer to her as our regular customer. She's in fact, a part of one of our most well read stories of all time to date. But for emphasis sake, we will do a recap kind of introduction of her.

She is the outstandingly snazzy, totally in your face, most  exciting, badass fashionista friend and partner of the equally exciting & elegant lawyer cum entrepreneur, Chioma Ikokwu. Both gorgeous ladies in their early 30s, are packed filled with so much oomph & are the owners of the quite popular hair brand, Good Hair Ltd and also that top lifestyle convergence point, Brass & Copper, both brands are located at the same address, in the Lekki Phase 1 axis of Lagos.

Their Good Hair Ltd brand which is now a decade (10) old, is actually top 5 best selling hair brand in the whole of Nigeria and the HQ of their business is London, but with a sub-headquarter in Lagos. While London handles the international arm of the business, Lagos deals with Nigeria and Africa part of the business.

So Kika aka Keeks was a year older just 2 days ago, that being Sunday, December 1, 2019. And the beautiful Sagittarian actually clocked 30 something, her early 30s if we were to be more precise
and from what we were able to find out, this birthday would be one to remember for quite a bit too.

Firstly she was said to have flown from London on a lap of honour to romantic & supremely elegant Paris with her mom and just a friend in tow. She lodged at the 4 Seasons George V Hotel Paris, which is an Iconic hotel and in fact, a top 10 luxury hotel in Paris. It was here that the Anumudus of the Globe Motors fame, that they had their outstanding destination wedding months ago. An authentic 5-star hotel by all standards. She thereafter went to L'Arc Paris Night Club on Rue de Presbourg, an elite nightclub where her throw-down took place. And it was a first class throw-down all the way, as Pernod Ricard, who are one of the supporters/partners of Brass & Copper, who incidentally were in Paris for their annual retreat went all out splashing what was said to be about €10000 Euros (fully unconfirmed though), on champagne, other liquor and what have you to make the day quite special for Kika.

The birthday gal herself who wouldn't say no at all to a good deed done for her, had an absolutely smashing time in Paris and as was expected later did enough shopping to add to her already over filled wardrobe that's already busting at the seams with fantastic items. If what we hear is true and confirmed latter, the unrepentant and inimitable fashionista might soon be unveiled too as an ambassador of the Alexander Wang brand, which is an  eponymous American fashion label.That would most definitely be a big deal. And that would most definitely place her in a class of her own, on another pedestal that all others would begin to run after again. The brand representatives of Alexander Wang were said to have also taken her out in London for her birthday as some sort of appreciation, maybe for being a great customer over the years?

So instead of a more loud birthday celebration with plenty of friends on some exotic islands and destinations as was expected, it was a more intimate experience for Kika as she clocked 3? She's just a tiny few years older than her best friend forever Chioma, who she actually met years ago at the University of Birmingham, where she had studied for a degree in Business and Marketing and where she came out with an outstanding 21 to the boot. So hers is most definitely beauty with brain. Not a dumb blonde or platinum bimbo.

So we here at MM are wishing Kika or Kiks or Keeks or even Ronks, a Happy, most delightsome birthday and more beautiful and outstandingly colorful years ahead.

Anyone that claims that there's no money in the hair business, either luxury or normal had better have a rethink as contrary to what most believe, there seem to be some sort of Naira rain of epic proportion happening in that sector of the lifestyle business. And those who are very involved in the business, who have invested very well in it, are just smiling and smiling to the banks daily. And from what we have garnered, it's not just #mizwanneka, who is also known as the hair boss, who had razzled-dazzled all comers a few weeks back, when she took delivery of her mind-blowing, N120m Naira valued 2020 matte black & dazzling G-Swag and later went forward to open her new, dazzling place in the Lekki Phase 1 area, which she claims to have bought outright, that is enjoying the largesse from doing good business in the sector. (Someone claims she only has a long lease on the spot and has not yet bought the place outright).

It seems like others too like her, who are also very prominent in the same type of business are not also doing shabbily at all and there are evidences to show that all is super well too on their sides in a massive way too, but they might just be loads more incognito or better still feel better being under the radar than others. Truth though is that it seems like the sky is actually massive enough for all the birds around to fly about unencumbered.

From what we hear, Chioma Ikokwu of Good Hair Ltd, whose other partner is the very stylish Kika, who had earlier this year gotten her own classy condominium in old Ikoyi which we hear is still getting fixed to meet that fully badass upscale standards. That particular purchase had gotten many others in her world salivating as they never expected it. Chioma is said to have already paid for, and she is eagerly awaiting the delivery of her own brand spanking new, 'senior utility vehicle' SUV too. From the unconfirmed information at our disposal, it's like this new machine that's coming in soon, most likely before the end of the year to be more precise, might actually be a '2019 Range Rover Velar'.

The beautiful Velar from what we know of it, is a 'mid range luxury SUV', and one of the great cars in the Land Rover/Range Rover range of SUVs.  And from the available information about the 2019 Velar, it actually starts from about $49,950 which is approximately about (N18,000,000) & can rise to about $75,000 which is about N27, 000,000), this cost here doesn't include the duty and Co, which comes to the new standard 70% made uo of 35% duty and another 35% levy tax. When that 70% is added to the cost of purchase, the landing cost of the car could come to plus or minus between N30,600,000 to N45, 900,000 Naira. Although N46m is  a whooping sum on its own, it is still a far cry from N120m which is how much #mizwanneka's G Wagon cost. Meaning #mizwanneka could have bought just bought 3 Velars, if she just added 17million Naira to N120m.

The Velar though, is still a awesome package in anyway or manner one wants to look at too. Maybe though, Chioma could change her mind now and order instead a G wagon. As the G Wagon has now come to be the standard by which others are judged in the sector now, that's for anyone that wants to stand out from all others. So for now Nwanneka is in a different Liga all by herself.

Lest we forget, Good Hair Ltd hair from what we could gather come at between N250000 to N600,000 Naira. But special order could go far above the margin stated here.

For Akunna Nwala Akano though, who is the excellently delectable, totally bodacious, awesomely shaped boss at Kuku's Hair also based on the island, with the actual location of her office being the Lekki Phase 1 axis. She's also obviously doing super well too from the looks of it. In actual fact, this married mother of one is rated as selling some of the best hair in the hair sector today. She's reputed as having mostly the very upscale, very high up there clientele as her preferred customers. She's actually done super well for herself, having been in the hair business for a decade now, having started in 2009. Just imagine selling a full head of hair from about N130,000 Naira for the cheap and chearful to as much as N1m plus Naira.

Her range of the super exotic hairs which starts from N450,000, is acclaimed by most to be her best seller by far & unmatchable by others in the business. So just imagine if 10 of her high-flying customers would buy a full head of hair at some point, that would come to at least N4.5m Naira alone. And it could go for far higher up than that, as some of this clientele could buy the range that's above N450,000. We are too sure that you all know that in Nigeria, it's strictly about outdoing each other on the style stake, so the more expensive one is garbed, the better!

So one can now begin to understand why these hair merchants, are all such definite high flyers. Wearing and carrying the latest garbs from all of the best brands around without a whimper and with undeniable sass and oomph. Akunna's incredible bag collection from what we have heard, is actually one to die for, as it includes several crocodile skinned Hermes Birkin which goes for not less than $40000 that's about N14 plus million for just a bag! And she owns more than one of such! And there's the speculation also that, she even has/own an ostrich Birkin, added to the several normal ones she also owns. The ostrich Hermes could go for as much as $54000 or in fact more, depending. That alone is about N20m for just a bag! 1 bag at that! One ostrich bag and 2 Croco would actually buy & bring in without any stress the highest end, brand spanking, factory minted Velar!

To show how good business has been for Akunna, she only just a few weeks back, took delivery of not less than 3 not cheap at all cars, made up of a Range Rover, a Toyota SUV and a Toyota Hilux. All of these cars in one fell swoop and which would have cost her, not less than several tens of millions in Naira.

So if any one now claims for any reason that the hair business in Nigeria is not a virtual goldmine, then they do not know nothing then. 

ON THAT CHIOMA GOOD HAIR BEAUTIFUL 5 BEDROOM EXQUISITE PENTHOUSE IN IKOYI

You can be making all the money in the world and be foolish. You can have all the opportunities in the world to advance yourself and still be foolish enough not to take advantage of it. You can be surrounded by grace, and still be wallowing in abject poverty. It is the wisdom to take advantage of the not too many opportunities around one or that comes ones way, that separates the smart from the stupid, the knowledgeable from the knuckleheads. So like they say, always do your best to make hay while the sun is still shining. For your future could depend on it.

Maybe the assertion above most likely, may be the guiding principle by which Chioma Ikokwu, that's Kika's other very stylish partner seem to be living by. Instead of just only designer bags, shoes and clothes alone, which are good, at least temporarily that is, she has gone a step further and has thought to invest and in fact invest very well too to secure her future. Or why would a young lady, still single at that, get for herself a 5 bedroom, fully fitted penthouse?

From our little understanding of real estate, it has been said by so many experts to be a good way to invest for the future, as the value of such an investment more often than not, increases substantially over time.

So there was the mild astonishment not too long ago when it was revealed that Chioma had gotten a house for herself in Ikoyi, Lagos. While some were somewhat skeptical about the purchase, others just thought maybe it was just another PR stunt. We can tell you categorically well that, o yes she got a penthouse for herself.
And it's a 5-bedroom, well appointed (fully fitted) place at that.

And according to our Intel, the place was in fact paid for in [full], without any kobo being owed anyone anywhere. According to the verifiable available gist, the bulk of the money for the penthouse was actually provided for by Chioma herself, while her dad is reportedly said to have supported her with the remaining. How anyone would have thought that a highly cerebral Chioma Ikokwu, a barrister-at-law from a good university abroad, who also has her Masters, that's (LLM) in International Environmental Law and Commercial Arbitration wouldn't be smart to handle her business(es) baffles one.

To know whether it is actually possible for the duo to have made money or are still making  money from their hair business we did a little digging. Theirs actually, is a growing lifestyle conglomerate that's into hair, a business we hear people make good money from, have made crazy money from and still making making money from. Hair goes from as low as N100,000 upwards depending. And they seem to have a large number of customers too. Their tentacles from what we hear is not just limited to Lagos, Nigeria alone but they were existing in London earning Pounds, before they came to Nigeria too. So it's a combination of Naira and Pounds.

From just selling hair, a virtual goldmine at that, ask Akunna & others doing the same lucrative business and making good millions from it. And the duo have done this hair business since 2009 meaning a whole decade of reaping. So if they were smart enough, they should have a sizeable amount in savings that can afford them good luxury at any time, if they want. But not just relenting with just selling hair, they also opened allied businesses too to add value as multiple income stream. They have a hair salon, a restaurant & lounge and to add to it, they are landlords too, as they have tenants in their complex (building) who pays them rents too. If they have invested wisely, smartly and well over the years, especially because of good patronage mennnnnn!!! they sure might be rolling in dough already!

So buying just one penthouse isn't strange or is it?? 

HOW TRUE CAN IT BE, THAT KIKA & CHIOMA OF GOOD HAIR ARE NOT ON GOOD TERMS

Just because one member of the duo that makes up the Good Hair brand didn't do a public happy birthday wish for her partner and friend, many have allowed their over fertile minds to conjure that there might have been something amiss between the 2!

Still going on further, just because she (Kika) wasn't present at the super glam birthday party with the gorgeous theme  Hollywood Glam" that was thrown by her close friend and business partner, many even thought that, that even strongly buttressed the point further that they were having issues! But alas, what if  Kika wasn't in town, around that time?

That both are not too unnecessarily public about their friendship right now doesn't necessarily mean things have gone south! Being business partners in a thriving business actually makes it near impossible for them to be at daggers drawn, even if they are, but not for too long even if they have issues.

The 2 ultimate fashionistas of note, deserves loads of kudos for how they have built their business brand to what it is now, although there's the unconfirmed speculation which we don't actually fully subscribe to that, their Good Hair brand is actually owned or financed by the wife of one of their uncles, a chairman of  one of the biggest banks in Nigeria, even if that be so, the way they both have built the brand to become such an household name known by most who should, is quite commendable then.

Chioma Good Hair and Kika, are 2 young ladies, quite beautiful and crazy stylish at that, who have shown what the energy of youth can achieve. They saw a major opportunity in the market to sell hair which they have exploited very well and it is said to be bringing good returns for them and they are balling to the banks because of it.

So if truly there's any issue, which is actually nothing extraordinary, that's because friends, true and good friends at that can have issues at any point, what's important is that they learn from such issues and move on.

Imagine 3 gorgeous and super stylish, "supposed ladies" tearing at each other with nails and pulling each others hair and trying as much as possible to cause as much damage in a short period of time to themselves, their bodies etc, that was the scenario at this battle royale.

Truly in normal circumstances, these 3 combatants are as gorgeous as they come and super stylish to add to the whole package no doubts, but they revealed an underlying viciousness that laid underneath their veneer very recently.

Tracy NWAPA is the googled eyed former TV gal, who is scrumptiously delicious looking with the bodacious curves that causes men's heart to flutter endlessly. Tracy's dad is the super liquid big-boy who used to be the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, that is "Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board", before he was sacked unceremoniously by the then government of Ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan a while back.

The about town lady is a 2009 graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan USA.

Kika on her own is the gorgeous and equally totally in your face beauty, who is a partner with her good friend at Good Hair Ltd. She's badass stylish too. She's said to have "owned" a salon in the UK.

Nothing more is known as per her background. But in a short while of doing the hair business, she has become a recurring decimal when it comes to hair business.

Chioma is Kika's girl friday, her besto and her partner in business, so no matter what, both have each others back from wherever to wherever.

Apparently before everything went topsy-turvy, the trio were friends somewhat! All are involved in the hair business, which is a very lucrative business from what we hear.
