WHEN KIKA OSUNDE TOOK OVER PARIS FOR HER BIRTHDAY & DAZZLED ALL COMERS

Kika Osunde is not an unknown to regular readers of this outstanding platform. Some would even refer to her as our regular customer. She's in fact, a part of one of our most well read stories of all time to date. But for emphasis sake, we will do a recap kind of introduction of her.

She is the outstandingly snazzy, totally in your face, most  exciting, badass fashionista friend and partner of the equally exciting & elegant lawyer cum entrepreneur, Chioma Ikokwu. Both gorgeous ladies in their early 30s, are packed filled with so much oomph & are the owners of the quite popular hair brand, Good Hair Ltd and also that top lifestyle convergence point, Brass & Copper, both brands are located at the same address, in the Lekki Phase 1 axis of Lagos.

Their Good Hair Ltd brand which is now a decade (10) old, is actually top 5 best selling hair brand in the whole of Nigeria and the HQ of their business is London, but with a sub-headquarter in Lagos. While London handles the international arm of the business, Lagos deals with Nigeria and Africa part of the business.

So Kika aka Keeks was a year older just 2 days ago, that being Sunday, December 1, 2019. And the beautiful Sagittarian actually clocked 30 something, her early 30s if we were to be more precise
and from what we were able to find out, this birthday would be one to remember for quite a bit too.

Firstly she was said to have flown from London on a lap of honour to romantic & supremely elegant Paris with her mom and just a friend in tow. She lodged at the 4 Seasons George V Hotel Paris, which is an Iconic hotel and in fact, a top 10 luxury hotel in Paris. It was here that the Anumudus of the Globe Motors fame, that they had their outstanding destination wedding months ago. An authentic 5-star hotel by all standards. She thereafter went to L'Arc Paris Night Club on Rue de Presbourg, an elite nightclub where her throw-down took place. And it was a first class throw-down all the way, as Pernod Ricard, who are one of the supporters/partners of Brass & Copper, who incidentally were in Paris for their annual retreat went all out splashing what was said to be about €10000 Euros (fully unconfirmed though), on champagne, other liquor and what have you to make the day quite special for Kika.

The birthday gal herself who wouldn't say no at all to a good deed done for her, had an absolutely smashing time in Paris and as was expected later did enough shopping to add to her already over filled wardrobe that's already busting at the seams with fantastic items. If what we hear is true and confirmed latter, the unrepentant and inimitable fashionista might soon be unveiled too as an ambassador of the Alexander Wang brand, which is an  eponymous American fashion label.That would most definitely be a big deal. And that would most definitely place her in a class of her own, on another pedestal that all others would begin to run after again. The brand representatives of Alexander Wang were said to have also taken her out in London for her birthday as some sort of appreciation, maybe for being a great customer over the years?

So instead of a more loud birthday celebration with plenty of friends on some exotic islands and destinations as was expected, it was a more intimate experience for Kika as she clocked 3? She's just a tiny few years older than her best friend forever Chioma, who she actually met years ago at the University of Birmingham, where she had studied for a degree in Business and Marketing and where she came out with an outstanding 21 to the boot. So hers is most definitely beauty with brain. Not a dumb blonde or platinum bimbo.

So we here at MM are wishing Kika or Kiks or Keeks or even Ronks, a Happy, most delightsome birthday and more beautiful and outstandingly colorful years ahead.

Better late than not at all.

Empress Njamah is in fact one of Nigeria's most stylish actors bar none. She always does her best to look sumptuousaand super cool, when you see her, always doing her best to put her best style foot forward all the time.

You can't catch her looking less than dazzling, but you must always take notice as she always shows off her voluptuous shape to great effect all of the times. She knows it, so she flaunts it. Her real given name is Empress and it's obvious that being an empress is in her genes as she acts like one effortlessly and she expressed that thought in the affirmative in her birthday shout out to herself.

So at the weekend, she was ushered glamorously into her 40s and in joy, she happily and joyfully expressed her gratitude at entering the new horizon with badass pictures, all above.

Knowing fully well that it has been said that life begins at 40,she embraced her coming of age thus in her own words-

And we nearly forgot. Truly and truly if she doesn't deserve it, we wouldn't have even ever looked her way at all, even with a side eye. But to not look at all, to not say a word, to not acknowledge the fact that she's a celebrity worth celebrating at all, would just mean one has allowed envy- that terrible witch without a conscience, who never sees anything good in anyone or anything to eat deep into one's innards. So even if just for the fun and laughter, she brings our way, by her effort, we must celebrate her.

Any way or any how one wants  look at it, however that you want to gauge it, the small gal BIG God damsel, has paid her dues, or better still is paying her dues. Pun intended. You don't get the kind of massive reviews and critique she gets, if you are not somebody! Or if you don't count or you are just sleeping permanently not amounting to anything or plain dead. It's only the dead that doesn't get spoken of, that is soon forgotten!!!!

Omotoke Makinwa... Toke Makinwa for short, TM to some, our or the ultimate Nigerian princess of swaggerliciousness, the petite bombshell petrel of our time, the princess or is it empress of hotness/sassiness🔥, the real, undisputed queen of highlights, the in your face, lifestyle entrepreneur, the social media celebrity like someone called her, the soon to be our own Kylie Jenner. The one who seemingly, somewhat, kind of, uses criticisms and envy as a stool to climb to higher heights, is a year older today.

Better put, she is 420 months old today, meaning she's 12775 days old, meaning she's 306600 hours old. And all of that just translates to that, she's 35 years old today, Sunday, November 3, 2019 the first Sunday of November 2019.

She was born many many years back on 'Saturday', November 3, 1984, which is in fact a leap year, that's if there's any special significance to a leap year. Maybe that's the reason her name is special, as Omotoke evokes the beauty and value of a child. If one would be ambiguous in thought, maybe because she was born on that last day of the week-the Saturday-God's day of rest, heralding a new week, a new dawn, which a Sunday, maybe that's the reason for why her 🌟 star seems to shine a little more, more than that of others..... so good and so distinct too.

Just imagine the combo of a Saturday, of a leap year!

To say too much, would be like one is doing unnecessary repetitions of a whole load of things that many have said already before. So for one of the duo of the very hardworking gals behind the Good Hair, Brass & Copper brands, that's talking about Chioma Ikokwu, you can only hit 30 once in a lifetime. So to celebrate her day and mark the birthday in a special way, she decided to go to the idyllic location that stands out. And not just her alone, she went in tow with a few of her closest circle of friends, most especially with her number 1 sidekick, the older Kika.

From the looks of things and pictures we saw as are above and below. They must have had an absolute belter of fun in Mykonos, Greece. The place is gradually becoming the choice location for the discerning Nigerians with the good resources to have fun in such a place like the picturesque Greek island. Billionaire oil and gas investor, Akanimo AK47 Udofia only very recently, had in Mykonos a mother of all private birthday shindig in Mykonos and now as Chioma clocked 30, she flew from Paris, France where she had attended the wedding of Enyinna and Joyce Anumudu then briefly to Santorini before going to Mykonos, it takes 2.5hrs by ferry from Santorini to Mykonos, while same trip via helicopter ride is about 30mins, where she and friends converged to have the fun of their lives. It's obviously the lifestyle of the rich, famous and jet setters unparalled for this fashionista.

The fun loving gals obviously let down their hairs to have first class, 5-stars fun, cruising their own yacht or boat ride, posing and jumping into the clear blue sea. having helicopter ride and just all the fun one can package into a short holiday on a stunningly beautiful island. In the pictures you would see the gals in all white everything ensembles, in their bikinis & swimsuit and other colorful outfits, enjoying without a care in the world. Can one truly blame these young ladies??? When you have worked hard for your funds how you now spend the money is not of any one's concern. Like it is said all work and no play, makes princess a dull gal. So if you work pretty hard, then you are allowed your commensurate measure of fun too. This party was actually tagged #omasdirty30.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO MYKONOS AS SUAVE INTERNATIONAL OIL & GAS BILLIONAIRE - AKANIMO 'AK47' UDOFIA CLOCKS 50

How best can one describe this suave gentleman of a guy? What you decide to call him depends on your closeness or access to him and all his nicknames or coinages of his name have their exciting meanings too, but that's the story for another day and time.

Meaning his birthday falls in the present month of June and also he exudes unimaginable magnetic sex appeal. So as the man of immense means clocks the new 40 which is - 50, now referred to again as the beginning of life, all roads to celebrate Akan's jubilee leads to the idyllic island of Mykonos.

For those who don't know, Mykonos is the super beautiful Greek island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean seas. It is favored by the well to do and the famous for the first class package of ultimate fun and much more that it offers. The beaches are exceptional and the joints which are much frequented by world famous DeeJays from around the world are to die for. Akan is so super rich, that he can make some extraordinary things happen.

So much has changed in the last 2 or 3 decades for Akanimo, who graduated from the University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom before going to get his MBA from the prominent Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts. Since after, it has been a gradual growth from strength to strength. From a company (Desicon) that he took over from his dad, he has since urned into a multi billion dollar company, that's connected to the best of the best in the oil and gas sector of economy. Desicon where he is the MD, is involved in Engineering, Procurement and Construction. They are in fact one of the market leaders in their sector, employing over 300 plus people. Desicon as engaged in business of at least about $10 billion dollars till date. The international businessman is a Director at Saipem Contracting Nigeria, while he is also the Chairman of Vision 2000 Ltd.

Akanimo personally, has had not less than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, meaning he is an expert in the field. So as he adds a year and clocks 50, we wish for him the very best that life on his level can further offer. Happy birthday. 

THE SUPER STYLISH ED AT THE POLO CONGLOMERATE JENNIFER OBAYUWANA ADDS A YEAR

There's the reason for wanting to celebrate to high heaven this dynamite of a lady, who most know as 'Jennifer Obayuwana', the Executive Director and heiress to the Polo Lifestyle Conglomerate. For those who might not know or might have forgotten so quickly, she is the stupendously gorgeous and most kindhearted daughter of the Czar of Lifestyle himself, his imperial majesty, 'Sir' John Obayuwana, the owner of Polo Ltd, Polo Avenue, Cat Construction and other brands.

Like already stated above and a good virtue at that, that we cannot stop from emphasizing, Jenny like loads call her, but who some close people to her prefer to refer to as the 'underboss', the anoited one learning from the Capo Tutti Capi himself, is  unpretentiously one of the most kindhearted angels to have stepped foot on the face of this earth. She's one person that can give her heart to her friends or those she comes in contact with, without necessarily rationalizing about who they are and what she could get in return from it or them. A class act in all ramifications.

But not only is she so generous to a fault, take it or leave it she's also undoubtedly one of the most stylish Nigerian alive and by extension African on the face of this earth, with a style that's very avant Garde, futuristic and quirky. Any where in the world that you come in contact with her or across her, be it in London, Geneva, New York, Miami etc as she's a avid traveler, who speaks French very well, a bit of Italian/Spanish, if you truly understand and appreciate high fashion and style, you cannot but nod continuously in approval.

SHADE TINUBU-OJO GETS SET FOR A HUMONGUOS 3-IN-1 PARTY!

Shade Tinubu-Ojo is the first daughter and first child of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the chieftain of the national ruling party-the APC. She's also the current Iyaloja-General of Lagos and by extension Nigeria, meaning the market generalismo in Nigeria, a massive position of influence however you want see it or look at it.

Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, who is married to a honorable member of the House of representatives, is in her 40s.

There's no gainsaying about this man's benevolence. His generosity is incomparable. If he would have allowed, which he would never ever do, we can tell you that the garlands that he would  have received from the too many of those he had helped, on such a day like this would just have been too too many.

It seems also that there's something so extra special about April 29. At least we know 2 people born on that day or date that are billionaires. Apart from Otunba Dr. Mike Adenuga Jnr, who is 66 today, the other person we also know, who is also a very liquid fellow, is the one that is the subject matter of this write up, in the person of Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi, who was born on April 29, 1962. Making him 57 year old today.

This lawyer by training, having graduated from the famous University of Lagos with a law degree, is man who by the dint of hardwork and God's benevolence has risen to become one of the richest Nigerian presently today.

His Sifax Group, which he set up in the 80s, 1988 to be more precise, after he left paid employment in a company owned by his uncle, is a growing super conglomerate that is into shipping, oil and gas, haulage, aviation & hospitality. One of the subsidiaries under the group, Sahco just last week was listed by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Like we had said before above. Dr. Taiwo, whose doctorate he got from the University of Jerusalem, rose from a humble beginning and got his initial entrepreneurial training from his mom, Alhaja Ayisat Afolabi, who he refers to as a '1st class trader'. Then later on in life, he fell in love with the maritime sector, when he worked for his uncle's freight forwarding company where he quickly climbed on in rank to become a 'Clearing Manager'. From that time on, he never looked back again and the sky from then had just continued to be his stepping stone.

From Akowonjo, a suburb of Lagos now to Osborne, Ikoyi where he owns a sprawling edifice amongst several properties he owns. His sprawling land on Alexander Road, Ikoyi, Lagos is where his beloved daughter, Mariam Afolabi, who is the Executive Director, Compliance, Sifax Group uses for her many businesses away from her 9 to 5. Amongst other things that Mariam does, she's an award winning designer formerly known as Mademoiselle Aglaia. One of Doctor's other sons, is 'Damilola AbdulRazak Afolabi', the famous musician better known as L.A.X, a protégé of Wizkid known very much for that popular song Caro. He now owns his own label Rasaki Music Group. His eldest son, Yinka had one of the top 3 biggest weddings of 2018, that spanned Ibadan and Lagos.

Dr. Afolabi is married to the equally highly cerebral, Mrs. Folashade Afolabi.

ABIMBOLA MICHAEL ADENUGA ADDS A YEAR. AS SHE CLOCKS 33 ON EXACTLY THE DAY HER DAD ALSO CLOCKS 66!

Normally we wouldn't do this for most golden spooned, but for this super well behaved and gorgeous soul we would do. Her name is 'Abimbola Michael Adenuga', 33. And just by that surname alone, we know you would have quickly deduced who she is.

She in fact, is the delightsome daughter, one of the daughters of the man that, a boss in the industry refers to as the "spirit of Africa", the guru, the bull, the best kept secret. But we also add to all of that, the enigma, the incomparable philanthropist, the humanist, the man of his time, a God-blessed man.l, a great man of destiny. The billionaire, the African billionaire at that, who left to himself, prefers to remain in his own quiet cocoon. The most celebrated, most ebullient, African billionaire to date. And that's talking about the one and only "Otunba Dr. Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga" Jnr, born April 29, 1953. This is the man whose other name should have been MIDAS.

Many of those that know him and greatly admire have said it in whispers that, Dr. Mike Adenuga aka the bull, is far far wealthier than speculated and might in fact be the richest African ever. If he is already the 2nd richest African and black man on the face of the earth and he is speculated to be richer, then that it is very staggering. Abimbola is her father's girl in many ways. She has inherited her dad's abhorrence for unnecessary publicity. Mennnnnn, since the prophetess-queen got married to the very beloved symbol of the Yoruba culture and heritage, in the person of his imperial majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II, the Oonirisa Adimula of Ile-Ife (the land of love) it seems bliss unlimited has found a permanent home in the Kabiyesi's household. And from all indications, one of the major source of this unlimited bliss is his wife, the Queen of Ife, Olori Naomi Shilekunola Morounke Ogunwusi. It's like madam is bringing credence to one of her names Shilekunola, meaning opening the door of wealth in her household.

The above assertion also just gives credence to the time honored sayings of the sages that "he who finds a wife, finds a good thing". There's no doubt about the fact, that Kabiyesi found his rib in his young, quite naturally beautiful wife, who apart from running her prophetic ministry prefers her anonymous cocoon.

Her dad is the one and only billionaire Lotto King, Sir Kessington Adebutu. He elder brothers are Ladi Adebutu, who recently failed in his quest to become the executive Governor of Ogun State. Her other brother is the moneybag, oil and gas dude, Segun Adebutu, whose birthday many many months back was a signpost to how the nouveau rich celebrates such events. Temitope Adebutu-Obasanjo herself is a brilliant magistrate of the court in Ogun State.

The gorgeous and super humble lady was formerly married to one of the sons of the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in the person of Jonwo Obasanjo. Though both are separated now, as Tope won a case her husband had instituted against her at the court earlier this year, when his submission against her was thrown out by the Court. We hear that in the aftermath of that victory, Tope is now planning on instituting a divorce case against her husband, who she claims to be very cruel in every way.

The hardworking lady is in a very good, joyous in fact happy mood in gratitude to God and she has every reason to be. One of the reason being that the last one year wasn't too palatable for a person like her that doesn't like too much public attention which her failed marriage brought to her. The way that what normally should have been private was celebrated in the news was a bit stressful. But since she was able to sort the whole mess out finally, it makes her hitting another birthday a great one.
