He was immediately attended to by the retinue of nurses and doctors on standby after he slumped who applied First aod and then was immediately transferred to the General Hospital, Epe, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. Though nothing has been said about the cause of his untimely death, it is suspected that it was complications from something heart related, maybe "cardiac arrest".
The perfect gentleman, who is very soft spoken is a elder sibling of the GMD/GCEO of Oando Ltd, Jibril Adewale Tinubu and a nephew of the former Governor of Lagos State, the Jagaban of Borgu, ASIWAJU Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The late Ayodeji Tinubu, born July 31, 1964 was one of the sons of the late top dog Policeman, Kafaru Tinubu and his wife, Alhaja Bintu Fatima Tinubu. Before his recent change of portfolio, he was the Special Adviser on Sports to the Governor of Lagos State, while he doubles as the Chairman of the the LSSC, a position he held for 4 years. He was the MD/CEO of Sports Vision Nigeria, a company he ran with his bosom buddy, Deji Omotoyinbo. He is survived by his wife, Yemisi and his 2 kids.
