The whole Nigerian blogosphere, social media literally went mad and on crazy fire over the weekend, as they were all taken on a super ride of fantasy in their minds with a false story that the marriage of thespian extraordinaire by name Dakore Akande and her handsome husband Olumide 'Lou' Akande had crashed. And the news really took fire as it spread so fast and wide, that most who read it were shocked to their bones about it.

One major reason people were really shocked about the news was because many had thought the couple looked really very good together. So the thought was that what could have become so terrible after more than a decade together that they couldn't just resolve?

But according to a most reliable source who we trust to high heavens, we can tell you for a fact that news is nothing more than a fabrication. In fact a falsehood, to put it mildly, it is actually a lie from the pits of hell. That doesn't mean that like all married couples or relationships that they don't have their crazy periods, but that the center couldn't hold no more to the extent that they would tear their marriage apart, it's not true at all. Just total bunkum!

The gorgeous and super stylish couple had gotten married many years back after a whirlwind romance at a most lavish wedding ceremony of that year. It was in fact then rated to be one of the top 10 most lavish weddings of that year, as good money was spent to make it happen. The church part of the ceremony was at the Guiding Light Assembly, Ikoyi of Pastor Wale Adefarasin, while the humongous reception was at the KFA Hall along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. Everything was super lush. Olumide's dad Chief Harry Ayoade Akande, a high chief of Ibadan was actually at that time one of Nigeria's wealthiest men bar none, while the then Dakore Egbuson was one of the fastest rising thespian cum singers then, in fact she was one of the most eligible bachelorettes then, who was swept off her feet by her dashing and handsome, knight in a shining armour by the name Olumide Akande.

In the adjoining years God has been benevolent to the couple as they have been blessed with 2 gorgeous and exciting daughters that they both dote on endlessly.

It was the 14th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards aka AMAA. It is the only movie award in Africa that's giving the AMVCA, a run for their money and it held yesterday, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali, Rwanda.

From all indications it was a beautiful occasion and a great gathering. With those involved in the make believe business from across Africa attending. As was expected, those who attended were dressed to the nines.

Ooooo my gawd!!!! Style went on the overload at this year's Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA 2018 to be short. It is the annual gathering to award those in the Movie and TV industry for an excellent year. This particular edition was the 6th edition in the series. And the venue of the revelry, fun and fashion showcase was none other than, the expansive Hall of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

From all indications, it was obvious that the stars and celebrities and others had been looking forward to the day of the event. It was an opportunity and a day that many could show how advanced their style game has become. Wow wow wow, come and see boobs (breasts)  & cleavages hmmmmm. From the about to sag, to the intermediate sagging, to the attention seeking, still prim and proper, to the outrightly outrageous. The men had things to ogle out, which would have caused a lot of mind to race Formular 1.

It was a colourful gathering no doubt, with many having a great understanding what the occasion entails. It is obvious now that this is the reign of stylists. It is now their time and contribution. It is no more just about the designers or the make up artists alone, the very very important Stylist has come in as the 'Bridge'  He or she coordinates the outlook, or better still the end product. The likes of Toyin Lawani of Tiannah's Styling, Yolanda Okereke, Jerry Ogbodo of Swanky Jerry, Tolulope Bally, Moashystyling, Efetommy and more, are as much stars like the stars they style or dress up.

As per who we count as our best dressed, most outstanding, most stylish of the night? The obvious contenders are Dakore Akande, Peggy Ovire, Rita Dominic, Toyin Lawani, Omawumi, Waje, Osas Ajibade, Fathia Balogun, Nancy Isime, Lillian Afegbai, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and so many others. As the men, for us Falz was the baddest guy of the night. The fit was perfect, the styling was on point, the outfit was indigenous and his carriage was badass.

If the turn out of gaily dressed and sumptuously colourful and beautiful people alone can guarantee the success of a film, then ISOKEN should soon become the most successful movie ever premiered.

The stars came out in their droves and were on point totally on the style stake and we greatly commend them for making the effort.

From Dakore Akande, to Rita Dominic and loads of others, that included the very handsome and always stylish Denola, the ever stylish Mo'chedda and many others it was like it was a fashion event and not just a PREMIERE.

ISOKEN has the very delectable and consumate thespian, Dakore Akande and the Inimitable Benjamin Joseph as lead characters . The film is a Tribe85 Production and Film is by Jade Osiberu Films. Theme of the premiere was "African Royalty". And like we said earlier, the guests obviously made a conscious effort.

GORGEOUS DAKORE AKANDE WELCOMES 2ND CHILD (A GIRL)

It was elation and thanksgiving galore yesterday when multi-talented actress, the gorgeous Dakore Akande put to bed and welcomed into the world a bouncing baby. It is the 2nd for Olumide & Dakore and the birth came in far away United States of America. 

The beautiful singer/actress made her joy known to all by herself when she posted the picture of her bundle of joy on instagram. Here's what she said when she posted the picture ''All I have to say is thank you Lord!!!'' #mumoftwo #happiness #love #life #girlpower #family #Godspower #aquarius .  Though they haven't revealed the sex of the new baby, we think its a girl, our hint is the hashtag #GIRLPOWER. 

With this new addition it just means the sweet couple now have 2 gals.  They had gotten married in 2011 at one of that year's ''wedding of the year'', which had all the who-is-who in Lagos in attendance. Olumide being the son of the High Chief, Chief Harry Akande and Dakore Egbuson then a celebrated thespian.

 The delectable actress/singer had taken a sabbatical sort of to marry and give birth. You all know who we are talking about. It's none other than the former dread-lock wearing Dakore Akande nee Egbuson, who before her leave of absence was one of the more prominent names in Nollywood. 

After what seemed like eons, the gorgeous and very talented one seem to be back with a bang! She's already back to her first love, acting. We hear there's a film in the offing and work is currently on going. The gorgeous mom of one, has definitely gotten her groove back.  Way to go Dakore, we didn't even know she was such a great dancer until the end of the event and she showed how groovy she can be.
