Africa Nations Cup winning coach of the Nigerian National Football team, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi is the cover subject of the new Mode Men Magazine that's already on the news stand as we speak.

The former captain, who is leading us to the 2014 world cup in Brazil is most often referred to as the boss. This cover and interview with him, comes at the right time as the national team is in far away USA, preparing very well, before storming the football capital of the world in Brazil.

The May/June issue of MODE MEN, the premium men’s lifestyle magazine is now on the news-stands.  The Big Boss himself, Stephen Keshi - the Super Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, is on the cover; discussing the team’s plans to make Nigeria proud at the upcoming World Cup.

DJ XCLUSIVE SANDWICHED BY ISIS MODELS ON COVER OF MODE MEN MAGAZINE

Rotimi Alakija better known by all and sundry as DJ Xclusive is the cover personality on the only still existent Men's Lifestyle Magazine in Nigeria Mode Men Magazine. He shares the cover with 2 models from one of the 2 best model agency functioning in the country-Isis Model Agency owned by Joan Okorodudu. The 2 girls are the 2 last winners of the Nigerian Next Super Model competition fame.

Since Mode Men like the name suggests is a Men's lifestyle magazine, more of the focus is on DJ Xclusive, who is said to be one of the best deejays in the country, some have even rated him top 5 best. The British born Nigerian dude is as handsome as they come and also very stylish. BATTLE OF THE COVERS- IT'S ROTIMI AMAECHI VS. EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN

Hmmmmmmmm!!!!! These 2 states Chief Executive officers seem to be hot, hot hot right now. Both are on the cover of the 2 different magazines looking cool. Both talking about their achievements and all. Incidentally both states are 2 of the richest states in the country by virtue of the fact that they are all producing states & are in the South-South.

Both men are also in the same party, the PDP, though on different sides off the divide, while Uduaghan is seemingly in the good books of the presidency and is therefore having no problems whatsoever. Rotimi Amaechi on the other side seems to have become a torn in the flesh of the presidency.

Both are on different covers, Amaechi covering Mode Men Magazine Power Issue & Uduaghan on the cover of BOSS Africa's new edition.

Whose cover gets more of your attention? BOSS Africa OR Mode Men Magazine?

THE VERY DAPPER GOVERNOR ROTIMI AMAECHI COVERS THE OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2013 POWER (ISSUE) EDITION OF MODE MEN MAGAZINE

We had said it before that the Governor of the oil rich state of Rivers- Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, is our choice as the most stylish State Chief Executive bar none. Now as he covers the new edition of Nigeria's premier men's style magazine many more would get to see & feel what we have spoken about before and most probably be converted.

The embattled & uncompromising Governor looks sharp on the cover in a Tuxedo by a proudly Nigerian brand ''Disciples''. In the interview inside the magazine he talks frankly on his achievements in Rivers State, leadership and his grouse with the Presidency and the First Lady.

This bumper edition also releases the list of nominees for this year's Men of the Year Awards and some of the names include Steven Keshi (who has two nominations: Sports Perosonality and Man of the Year), Tony Elumelu, Ice Prince, O.C Ukeje, Audu Maikori, Olisa Adibua.

The woman of the year category includes Biola Alabi, Chimamanda Adichie and Mo Abudu.

MODE MEN BLACK NIGHT 7- APRIL, 2013- ALL THE HAPPENSTANCES & PICTURES

SEYI SHAY IN TOJU FOYEH

AISHA SHABA & SEYI SHAY
ENE MAYA-LAWANI

This year 2013, marks the 7th anniversary of Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa's labour of love & sweat. It's none other than the brand known to all as Mode Men. Undoubtedly one of the best packaged men's magazine in Nigeria. That the brand is still existing in a country like ours that most often does not support non-criminal and good initiative has been by the grace of God.

So to show to the world, that it has been God all this while, the 7th anniversary edition of the magazine was dedicated to God. A form of thank you for thus far yet he has blessed the brand.

To also mark the 7th anniversary of the brand, the publisher's of the magazine like they usually do had their annual ''Black Night gathering. This year's edition was tagged ''Black Night 7, and venue of choice was the compact hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel, on Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Unlike how they normally do the event, this particular one was a more intimate, much smaller event, that had only 60 of the friends and supporters and sponsors of the brand in attendance.

We saw a few of those we know, one of who was the longest reigning Miss Nigeria ever, Ene Maya-Lawani, we also saw the likes of Frank Edohor, Moriam Musa, Juliet Morgan, Donald Obaseki, Joseph Edgar, Uche Nnaji of Ouch!, Okey Bakassi, Yinka Davies, Seyi Shay, Amy Ajuonuma, Bobby Karibi-Whyte, Aisha Shaba, Alex Ekubo, Uti Nwachukwu, Taryor Gabriel, Bukky George, Amaechi Okobi, and a host of others.

It was a 'funstatic' & cosy setting, devoid of unnecessary frills. Aisha & Abu were the compere and they did a good straight forward job. Abu spoke about his journey so far in our terrain, Okey Bakassi spoke on the fact that we need to support ourselves and thereafter Seyi Shay gave a sonorously fantastic acapella of one of her great songs; immediately after was an auction, where 2 great paintings by some famous Nigerian artists were auctioned and then an 18 karat Rose Gold leather Chopard and all the proceeds from the auction was in support of the Down Syndrome organization. The auction was fun and interactive and it showed that at least a few Nigerians cared and are their brother's keepers. One of the paintings raised close to half a million. All this was going on while dinner was served.

As was expected of the brand, everyone of the invited guests went home with a gift laden goody bag each in their hands- that had the new edition of the magazine, a Mode Men note pad, a book, many parfum testers from Bond nos. 9, female purses for ladies and small men bags for the guys . It was most definitely a great event. And it was all for just about 2 hours 30 minutes.

Event was sponsored by Bond Nos. 9 Parfum which is just announcing the entrance in Nigeria, courtesy of Essenza.

Please check out the pictures of the event here.

TOKE MAKINWA, UGONNA OMERUO & SEYI SHAY IN LINGERIE

UGONNA OMERUO, TOKE MAKINWA & SEYI SHAY
Check out the pictures of the trio mentioned above looking gloriously beautiful in their lingerie on the valentine cover of Mode Men Magazine, which would be on the magazine racks & stands in a few hours. We are quite sure you know who the three ladies are. But for those who might not know, lets just tell you.

Omotoke Makinwa, 'the cute', that's our title for her, is the delight-some On-Air-Personality at the award winning FM radio station 93.7FM. She's one of those who holds down admirably the morning drive radio programme.

Ugonna Omeruo, on the other part, is the magnificently creative scissors hand(Fashion designer), who is the creative director of her own label called House of Nwocha. A proud Ibo girl, and a fashionista to the core.

Seyi Shay is the sonorously gifted and bombastically talented songbird, who was once based in the UK and whose group in the UK, was signed on to Beyonce Knowles dad. The gifted artist has since come home to showcase her amazing talent. Boy!!! Can she sing!!!

The trio were having mad fun recently at a location, don't you all get unnecessarily worried oooo, they weren't doing anything untoward or naughty! But they were in their lingerie.

We can bet, that you are all wondering what they were doing together wearing next to nothing. The shoot, which was done by ace photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi on location just a few days ago, is for the upcoming ''Valentine 2013 Edition'' of Mode Men Magazine. This would be the first edition of the Men's Lifestyle Magazine having a female, not to talk of 3 of them on their cover at the same time.
