The 6th edition of the annual ritual that celebrates, the very best in the movie and TV industry in Africa held yesterday, September 1, 2018 to rousing applause and incredible accolades. The venue as usual was the Eko Hotel and Suites and the stars and others rained down on the venue.
The awards itself was in 29 categories in all, and some of the biggest winners of the night were Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, who won her 1st ever AMVCA trophy for Alter Ego, Falz the Bad Guy as Best Supporting actor and Jade Osiberu won 2 awards on the night. Former BBN Housemate Bisola Aiyeola won the trail blazer award, which came with a brand new car. And she was hilarious as she received the awardl.
