The recently estranged Kim Kardashian has started talking about  how she got married and broke the relationship after only 72 days. Quoting her  ‘’I want a family, babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon.’’

It was a very busy weekend of activities in London. First of the many events was the UK Celebrity premiere of Tade Ogidan’s new film titled-Family on Fire, the event took place last night November 4,2011 at The Lighthouse 262 Camberwell Road,SE5 0DP. We saw veteran actor-Segun Arinze going to the UK aboard an Arik Air flight for the premiere, Segun, Saheed Balogun, Sola Sobowale,Lanre Hassan, Sola Fosudo and Bukky Amos were the main acts in the film, unfortunately we heard Saheed was unable to make the premiere.

Also on that same flight to the UK was delectable actress Halima Abubakar who seems to be on the role this season, it has been awards galore for her and she’s in the UK to receive yet another award- making it the 6^Th already this year. This time around, she was awarded ‘’ Best Actress in a Supporting Role’’ that was given by African Voice Newspaper UK, Organizers of the Afro-Hollywood Awards 2011-tagged Africa’s Most Prestigious Film Awards. Also in attendance at that awards ceremony was veteran actor-the gentleman called Antar Laniyan- Who won the Best Director award at the Afro-Hollywood awards 2011 and led other award recipients-Susan Peters-Best Actress in English ,Tolulope Adelekan of TV Continental-Best Entertainment reporter-Electronic, Oluwabukola Awoyemi-New Acting Talent Award, she was the delectable beauty who acted the part of Arugba in the Tunde Kelani produced classic, also on the award train was veteran journalist- Ayodele Lawal of PM News- who won the award for Best entertainment reporter-Print, Femi Brainard-Best Actor English, Saheed Balogun who unfortunately couldn't make it was the ''Best Actor-YORUBA. The awards presentation was November 06, 2011 at Stratford town hall, 29 Broadway Stratford, London by 2PM. The show was anchored by the finest Comedian in Nigeria-Omo Baba Nos 1.

I visited Singapore several years ago and noticed that almost all beauty shops promoted skin whitening pills. On further enquiry, I learned that the practice of skin bleaching or whitening as it is popularly referred to was very popular in that part of the world. The tablets promised to give you a much brighter, even toned complexion when taken regularly. The active ingredient, Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that naturally occurs in the body and is capable of protecting the skin as well as the cornea, lens and retina of the eye against radiation damage.

MATTERS ARISING-THE BABA SUWE DILEMMA-SO WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

It’s took about 18 days if not more, before ace actor and comedian in the Yoruba genre-Mr. Babatunde Omidina-popularly known as Baba Suwe was released after been held incommunicado by officials of the NDLEA on suspicion of acting as a drug mule. From the little that we have come to know, the U.S-donated body scanners had indicated that the much loved comedian concealed some things in his stomach, so he was detained for further observation.

The general expectation was that the NDLEA would  have given full confirmation about the actor’s culpability or not in just a few days, but it took them many days after Baba Suwe was apprehended and despite having visited the toilet according to him more than 15 times, no incriminating substance was found in his excreta contrary to NDLEA’s expectations.

No one seems to know what’s truly went on, and as a result, many have come to believe that there might have been more to the whole situation than meets the eye. Hence certain questions need urgent answers.

What was that compelling evidence that the NDLEA had, that made the body keep the actor in their custody in apparent violation of his fundamental human rights? Though they later got a court injunction to keep him for a certain length of time, but prior to that he had been kept for many days. Why was the body so convinced that the actor ingested hard drugs even as their scanners had been repeatedly proven wrong? What manner of observation could have produced the body the incriminating evidence it so desperately needed?

Is it not the constitutional contention that anyone, even a known criminal, is not guilty until convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction?  Why was he was not allowed to see his lawyers at first for a long period of time? Why keep him incommunicado? Did that in anyway help their case?

Is it a case of an informant giving the NDLEA false information?

Some are even of the opinion that the NDLEA might have compromised, would that be true? Were Baba Suwe’s colleagues afraid to stick out their neck for their own? Can he now sue the NDLEA for its seemingly oppressive and unconstitutional conduct? Couldn’t the body have done its investigation more quietly and intelligibly?



So now that the Comedian has been released according to a court directive, what’s next?

 The event was the UK premiere of the movie by Emem Isong nicely titled-Kiss & Tell, the venue was Odeon Cinema at Greenwich, date was October 22, 2011 and in attendance were loads and loads of UK based Nigerian celebrities, who came to catch a glimpse of top Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot and the film producer Emem Isong. It was the opportunity for the rapper/entertainer to cement his love for his beau of many years and propose marriage, which the sweet boo sweetly & gladly accepted.

So we are all highly expectant as the couple would soon be picking a date for the nuptial.

GUESS WHO IS BACK IN TOWN?

We plan not to mention any name; we would only try to give as much sign as possible to describe who we are talking about. Firstly, she is as beautiful as they come, we can rightly describe her as gorgeously fantastic, she should either be in her late 20's or like some people have said in her early 30's.

Several months ago she relocated for a short-while to the UK, firstly to get away from prying and evil eyes, who like many said didn't mind their business. Secondly, she went away to go give birth to a much celebrated handsome baby boy.

It's been several months now, since she delivered the boy amidst much pomp, and it’s been several weeks now since she came back into the country with her bundle of joy, life has not been the same again for her, though she left with much promise of swagger on her return, she has returned with much more evidence of unbelievable swagger, not only has she been relocated to a more befitting abode to match up to her new status. Her new address is Nos ??? Bourdillon road, Ikoyi,a beautiful grey edifice.  We prefer not to give the real address for security reasons, but it’s not too far from a former Governor of the Centre of Excellence. At her beck and call are 2 of the best ''Wonders on Wheels'' that man has made-a black, 2012 edition of the Range Rover Sport SUV, some have described this car as the best SUV in the World and a Porsche Panamera 4, just for her to cruise around in whenever there is the need.
