Were it that he wasn't a sound lawyer an SAN at that who has gotten to the pinnacle of his career, with intimidating pedigree, Vice President of Nigeria, his excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo would have made awesome money at being a poet or much sought after rapper, giving Chance and Jay Z a major run for their money. Most likely he would have been a poetic giant no doubt!

On the occasion of his and his wife's 28th wedding anniversary just yesterday, the pastor and lawyer and our current VP, "waxed poetically lyrical".


The Prof, spoke so glowingly about Madam Dolapo, that everyone's heart melted totally. Hear him-

"When our worlds collided. It was just a matter of time. Our story began today, many years ago. The harmony in the symphony. My treasure! Happy Anniversary Oludolapo. Your heart is my home".

Chai! (In Madam Patience voice) see loves eeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

As much as the above is mind blowing, only those who better understands the Yoruba languagee well, would have understood greatly the import of what "Your heart is my home" conveyed- "Okan e Ni ibugbe mi"! My domicile, my place of rest, my totality, my place of peace!

Last year during the summer of 2016, we were part of a group of people that had dinner in London with the VP's wife, and we can tell all without fear of contradiction, that she's most probably one of the most pleasant and down to heart and very caring woman we have ever encountered. No airs and she brings you in effortlessly.

So we seem to somehow understand where the VP is coming from.

Congratulations, Sir and Madam, long may this endure, always in love and respect! Salute!!!

Being a while we have set eyes on the handsome black bomber. The husband of the equally delectable Osas Ajibade has been scarce. We haven't seen him at all, at all those events we normally would have seen him and it's just madam, who is ever so gorgeous and lovely that we see alone.

We have swept the horizon with our binoculars and even used our highly technical and technologically advanced radars to sweep everywhere, but it hasn't located the dark skinned actor cum model, who loads see as a hunk and we quite agree with them too.

Someone even speculated that maybe Gbenro has temporarily relocated to the US to perfect his papers. The bird whispered that part of the stipulations, is for the person to reside for a length of time in the US. If that be so, then it's totally fine by us! But please do quickly and come home then! Or is it that he is especially so busy on projects for now, that coming out for some fun time doesn't just cut it for now?

We particularly love this young couple, that's Osas and Gbenro together. There's the sexiness they exude whenever they are together and we haven't seen that in a while.

Gbenro and Osas we miss seeing you together at events/occasions, on the red carpet dazzling us with your good looks and energy and sexiness and that bond that you guys show off, so effortlessly.

The hot duo have a one year old plus daughter together.

We had expected that the dudes would be dapper and the dudettes (dudes is unisex though) to be chic! We weren't disappointed, as they made the effort.

Imagine flying to such a beautiful, far place like Capetown and not even trying at all!

The groom's men in their white tuxedos repped. It was obvious they reveled in their role. Groom as always and as was expected was on point, the fine boy no pimple, was looking quite smart.

Noble, who was expected to be a groom's man, but wasn't dressed as one looked cool, his wife gorgeous, Ebuka the hunk didn't upstage anyone this time around, but still looked good, he would do pretty well as a model, just in case, his pretty & loveable was besides him.

All in all, it was like a fairy tale wedding. Romance was overpoweringly in the air and it radiated well on most.

So we all understand that all the members of their click/crew, would have needed to update their game so as not to be totally obliterated this time around.

Like they say, once beaten twice shy! So we have to give kudos to the brand known as Noble ''the Hefner" Igwe for the effort here.

We love that he was looking totally James Bond in his outfit, but since there can only be one 007, we have thought to assign him the 009 status which still gives him the killer instinct, still the same thing, only to be "shaken but not stirred".

It wasn't her wedding, neither was she the one having the event, she was just a guest like all others, although she's especially close to the bride, but the former actress and fashionista didn't take no prisoners as she stole the show at the wedding of her friend in her gorgeous outfits is it a mermaid dress or a two piece outfit and that other badass one?

Someone had whispered into our ear, that why change twice at another person's wedding? And we replied, direct your enquiries to Caroline personally. Ours is to showcase what was showcased!

All of last week and entering this week, Ebuka Obi Uchendu trended like he owned the universe in his exceptional take on the perennial favourite- the Agbada, maybe all through this week too, Caroline Danjuma would be the subject matter too with this outfit!

As an aside though, the glamorous former wife of Musa Danjuma, who was a former actress, seem to have recovered very quickly from the sadness of the untimely demise of her boo thang- Tagbo Umeike who passed on only about a month ago from the complications that arose from binge drinking.

The lesson from this is just that, the living would continue their own life (life continues), while the dead is dead and buried and may be quickly forgotten after a short while!

Away from talks of the dead though, the mother of 3, looked the bomb in her outfit and it is very obvious she knew it, see the poise and the pose!

This undoubtedly is the stuff of dreams. Both bride and groom are badass romantic. This we can tell anyone would break the internet, many times over at least by our own Nigerian and African standards.

The setting is most definitely from Lalaland. The boys were decked like they were James Bond, looking shaken not stirred. Handsome and stylish boys dem all be- BOMBERS!

Cape Town has consistently remained top 10, if not top 5 most beautiful spot in the world, so just imagine such a setting for a wedding and the kind of background. The official photographer, Kelechi Amadi Obi must have gone to heaven and back.

Imagine having one wedding ceremony and been on the honeymoon right at the same time, we can tell you for a fact that these nights would be the one of the favoured night that conception would take place, just the right setting.

Adesua's outfit was made to measure for her by Ohimai Atafo of weddings by Mai. Mai himself is one of the groomsmen and is on standby to make sure the Sisi Yemmie dress is not any issue.

Let's not talk too much, have a view of gorgeousness in an idyllic setting that's a vision of heaven on Earth! Praaaaaaaa!!!!!!

So the lovebirds are making it official today, Saturday, November 25, 2017. The preparation has been ongoing since and except you are living on the moon or on one of the planets away from the earth, that would be the only excuse to say you didn't know this was going to happen or didn't hear about it at all.

It was on the radio, TV, social media and infact it was advertised on that LED at the roundabout facing the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge, we mean the one at the Lekki end.

With the way it was advertised, we know for sure it would be a carnival. We expect all the entertainers in the country at least those not in Cape Town, their spouses and girlfriends or boyfriends to converge at the venue and all others too. Both

Style will meet colours, glamour will jam panache, good money (millions upon  millions) would be well spent, champagne & other beverages would pop endlessly. We would see an avalanche of the most gorgeous and very available ladies and young and not so young, available and not so available men, many relationship will be started today, as guys will meet babes.

We know that for sure that ORISHEFEMI the groom and his men of honout would be decked in "bespoke creation by Adebayo Bankole Thomas", a fantastic Nigerian fashion brand, getting set to rule the fashon world.

The gorgeous bride as had a beautiful and hectic week. Her friends and supporters swept her off her fit with a secret but we heard well packaged"spinsters Adam party", which was partly organised for her by Bunmi Olatunji. We even heard that gifts put together for the party by Bunmi would be out of the world. So just in case you are around "the Ark" Event Centre, off Remind Olowude, Lekki on the Island, same spot where Tiwa and Tbillz Balogun tied the knot traditionally, on the island where the event is ongoing you could branch and be a part of the carnival in Lagos.

The chairman of the event, if we heard right might be the Atayase of Lagos, moneybag oil tycoon chief Francis Inegbeniki whose is very famous for the kind of out of the world party he organises himself, while his wife Helen is one of the mothers' of the day.

For us here on this platform, we have always thought that this dude 'Inetimi Alfred Odon" here better known to the world as the Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa, the one and only Timaya is probably one of the top 10 most stylish entertainers in Nigeria bar none!

This dude has got the swag in loads, infact as much as 200% overload and his outrageous confidence is just mind blowingingly stand out, he does things like it's effortless!

Seen in the picture above, strutting his stuff on the streets in the US in his nearly all black outfit(black and white Neil Barrett top with fur on black pants on a pair of black trainers, not forgetting his eyewear), looking all buff and wishing all and sundry a "happy Thanksgiving"!

WHEN TOLA ADEGBITE'S TURFAH WAS LAUNCHED

Tola Adegbite is the other sister (younger) of Reni Folawiyo, who is the owner of Alara Concept Store and the wife of billionaire businessman and scion of the late Baba Adinni, Alhaji Wahab Iyanda Folawiyo, in the person of the gentleman par excellence, Tunde Folawiyo. Both sisters are high ranking fashionistas of note, known for always putting their best foot forward.

A couple of weeks back, Tola gave life to a dream she has always had to set up her own fashion brand/line, which she named TURFAH, from her 2nd name, which is an Arabic name given to girls and actually translates to mean "Blessings" "Good things of Life" "Luxuries" "Rare Gem" "Something Extraordinary".

The fashion line was launched with much aplomb at the Alara Concept Store with many distinguished people in attendance wearing the brand. The line was the embodiment of everything the name translates to mean, the colours were very rich and exotic and looked quite luxurious, the fabric-100% silk is of the very best, the finishing was topnotch, the styling elegant and standout.

The first line actually delivered on what it promised.

Some of those that attended the event as expected were the likes of Tunde and Reni Folawiyo, Herbert Wigwe of Access Bank, former CEO of Access Bank Aigboje-Aig Imohkuede, GMD/CEO of Oando PLC Wale Tinubu, Kemi Ibru, Ebi Williams and many others.....

One of the early fans of the the brand is the stylish daughter of the billionaire oil mogul, Mr. Femi Otedola, and that's DJ Cuppy who wore "Turfah" very recently to receive her Award at the NYU.

MEDIA MOGUL MO ABUDU ADDS ANOTHER FEATHER "QUEEN ESTHER'S HONOUR

The inspiring boss of EbonyLife TV, the gorgeous and wonderfully glamorous Mo Abudu, was recently honoured at the annual church harvest of "Christ Cathedral Church, Marina Lagos, with the Queen Esther's Honour.

We don't know for a fact what the award or honour was for, but we know for sure that Queen Esther in the scriptures, was a stupedouly beautiful woman, who swept the then most powerful king Artaxerxes in the world off his feet, with not just her beauty, but also her humility. She became an exemplary heroine who didn't allow the trappings of the Royal House to becloud her judgement, and "who stood up to be counted" at a most trying time in the history of her nation and people. She saved her people and nation from determined extermination and plunder.

Maybe for treading where mere mortals don't dare and making a success of it, and was recognised for her exemplary service, was why she was so honoured or maybe it is for her service to the church, standing out gallantly to be counted in the midst of others. She's the Queen Esther honoree 2017 of the Christ Church Cathedral Marina, Lagos.

To celebrate with her were her gorgeous mom and daughter- Temidayo. Friends also came along to celebrate one of theirs!

MEET HIS ROYAL MAJESTY'S "BLOOD CHILLER (COOLER)" OLORI AJOKE BADIRAT ADEYEMI

Our supremely beautiful and fantastically gorgeous focus today is one of the young wives of the top 2 most revered, most powerful and most influential monarchs from the South West, his royal Majesty the Alaafin (owner of the palace) of Oyo State, the ikubabayeye (the one who death fears), the one likened to death itself, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III.

By tradition and culture, the Oba (King) is entitled to his harem. The more rich and powerful a king is, the more the number in that harem could be, part of the reason for the large nature of harems is that the royal father is sometimes gifted his queens and also as long as he can take care of all of them, then no problems!

Kabiyesi (the one that cannot be questioned), here referring to the great Alaafin himself, who has been on the throne now for "47 eventful years" and still going on strong, has about 4 gorgeous wives, who dotes on and doesn't play with at all. We love the fact that when he travels, he carries all of them in tow and in a very stylish manner too, all doing what we call "and co" making them the cynosure of all eyes, with nobody deliberately upstaging one another.

Our special focus today though, is not on all but on the youngest and the last wife, Olori (queen) AJOKE BADIRAT ADEYEMI, 28.

This young and stylish, mother of 2 only just clocked 28 this November, 3rd of the month to be more precise.

The Yorubas are of the opinion that a young blood, can help to temper an old man's temperature in fact making him young at heart. Even the great KSA, that's King Sunny Ade for you gave credence somewhat to that assertion in one of his great hits, when he spoke about "fresh fish". No wonder Kabiyesi doesn't seem to be aging at all, even at 79 years old. Hmmmmmm baba ooooo, still full of energy and vigor (won shi nta biobio) , truly "igba keji orisha" (2nd in command to the god).

So we now know who Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III's blood chiller (cooler) is! It's none other than "Olori Ajoke Badirat Adeyemi", though she does it in conjunction with the other 3 too!
