WALTER WAGBATSOMA GETS SLAMMED IN LONDON FOR 3 YEARS!

Most often it's far better to stay at home and weather the storm, then to jump ship thinking one has escaped then you get swamped where you have gone and then the hammer falls and you can't escape no more.

One that tasted that kind of soup before was none other than the former very influential Governor of Delta State and ex-felon James Onanefe Ibori, who had escaped Nigeria to Dubai, the UAE only to get extradited to the UK to face the long arm of the law and then be dumped in Jail for several years for what he could probably have escaped in Nigeria if he had stayed put!

Facing the slammer/jail for 3 years and 6 months now, after being convicted on money laundering charges in far away London in the United Kingdom is none other than oil and gas magnate and big boss at Ontario Oil, it's none other than Mr. Walter WAGBATSOMA!

Not only would he be wearing the designer outfits made specifically for prisoners in the UK, he his also disqualified from being a company director for 6 years!

According to the gist, funds obtained fradulently in the UK were first laundered through a Dubai account under the control of a UK national by name Oluwatoyin Allison, who was tried and convicted in absentia and sentenced to 7 years in the slammer. From Dubai, the funds were subsequently transferred to Walter's UK account!

Oluwatoyin Allison was just one out of many that were involved in this crime of money laundering and fraud, a 13th defendant was also convicted recently too by the Leicester Crown Court.

The investigation into the case was conducted by Lincolnshire Police Economic Crime Unit under Operation Tarlac, in which over £12m was defrauded from public bodies including hospital trusts, housing associations and councils around the UK.

Walter Wagbatsoma, 47, was originally detained on an European Arrest Warrant in June 2016 whilst travelling through Germany. He was extradited soon afterwards and charged with conspiring with others to launder the proceeds of fraud through his business interests in the UK.

Wagbatsoma, was on trial in Nigeria at the time of his arrest for his part in a £1.9 billion oil subsidy fraud for which he was later convicted and sentenced in absentia to 10-years imprisonment in January last year.

This is the third criminal trial for this operation and follows the successful conviction of 12 other defendants in the investigation which began with a complaint of fraud from Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust in September 2011, in which £1.28m was fraudulently obtained by the gang. Subsequently, a further 20 linked offences was identified resulting in losses of up to £12.6m.

After a four-year investigation, those convicted have received prison sentences in excess of 50-years and proceedings are underway to recover the gains of the conspiracy under the Proceeds of Crime Act. This is to make sure that victims can in some way be recompensed for what the Judge described as a “sophisticated and widespread fraud in its conception and execution.”

Deputy Chief Constable Craig Naylor said: “For a small force, this investigation shows that officers in our Economic Crime department have shown real endeavour and determination in investigating what is a huge money laundering and fraud offence.

“Operation Tarlac has now seen thirteen individuals given lengthy prison sentences for their part in an international offence, which has had a national impact on public bodies in the UK. As a force, we have achieved a significant impact against organised crime in this investigation and this shows the hard work by our officers.

“Proceedings are now underway to recover a large amount of money, and I want to personally thank partners for their support and co-operation with us in this investigation and congratulate my officers and staff on a job well done.”

Both have been an item for a longwhile and have been officially husband and wife for 2 and half years now, in fact it would be 3 years on Tuesday.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, was born on February 7, 1978. She made her film/movie debut in 1995 as a young prodigy, making this year 2018 her 2 decades plus years in the industry. In her 23 years she has appeared in 300 films, has sold several millions and has carted home several awards both at home and International to show for her dedication to the arts.

She is married to Captain Matthew Ekeinde, and they both have 4 kids between them, oldest-Princess being 20 going 21 and the youngest-Michael 15 years old going 16.

Omawumi is a wonderful woman in every way you might want to describe her, very very respectful with a good understanding of our culture and tradition. We have seen her in close quarters and seen her on many occasions how she related with those around her and we were astonished that being a recognised artist of many years standing who normally should carry a chip on her shoulders, none of such was present, she was just herself a virtue we greatly appreciate and commend.

So today Saturday, January 13, 2018 the gorgeous lady of song and her beau of many years- Tosin Yussuf, father of her child and in fact her husband of 2 years running already (their Ikoyi registry wedding was on January 16, 2015 so just a few days more to their 3rd anniversary), today Saturday is their native law and custom wedding as tradition and culture demands it. Just in case you are wondering, why the ceremony? What the couple had done 2 years back was what the law of the state demanded, they had gone to the registry, where they were joined together as man and wife.

What they are doing (have done) now is satisfiying all that their heart and family wants, so the traditional wedding is/was today, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Omawumi's dad's compound in Warri, Delta State and the party is presently on going, with friends and family in support.

I have been married now for about 2 and half years, it's been fun galore all of the 2 and half years, some sort of rollercoaster of emotions. My husband is loving, caring, very nice, quite responsible and a good dad to our only daughter.

Seers, Prophets etc are those select set via which the God of Creation speaks to His people. They have always existed and would continually be so, till time shall end. Many who understands things, see them as the very mouthpiece of God, the trumpets of God, via which He makes His mind, intentions known. And just like their are true ones, there are also the false ones too. The false modus operandi is to take advantage of the gullible for monetary/pecuniary gains and many have fallen for them too.

And because of their seeming importance in the scheme of things, they are highly coveted and celebrated, so much so that many even refer to them as the conscience of the people. Many have come and gone, many men of renown likes of those in the Bible. There was even a particular historical figure that is still celebrated or looked on with in awe today even though that he had died a long time ago, but whose many predictions still hold water in the person of Nostradamus. Whose predictions and prophesies, stills baffles many till tomorrow.

Since the presiding pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleiman was introduced to the public a few years ago, he has gained major prominence/notoriety that has been gradually built up sake of many of his predictions/prophesies that have seemingly hit the target with uncanny accuracies and also because of his seeming fearless and fiery nature.

So because of his antecedence that claim that his predictions are like an ICBMs (Intercontinental ballistic missiles which has unbelievable accuracy at hitting targets across continents), we have thought to examine a few of his 2018 predictions, most especially number 11 of his 50 major predictions/prophecies/pronouncements/proclaimations for 2018.

It has been said that part of how to judge or know for certain, if someone is truly speaking for God is by the accuracy/ies of their words/predictions/prophecies/pronouncements/proclaimations. A major character of God is that He is not doubled tongued, so that should also be a major character of his messenger too.

Why are we examining or trying to dissect the number 11 in particular? It's because one, we should be able to verify that particular one truly sometime soon, it is not as ambiguous as many of the other predictions. Secondly, it's because another seer/prophet had declared same type of prophecy going to 2 years now, but that American based Nigerian/American seer was more precise, with a name and year-2018. He (that seer) mentioned a name and date.

So now, 2 seers have said a military President would be laid to rest and from what we know and that is very obvious, there are 4 former military Presidents/heads of states still alive, all of them above 60.

We have retired Generals- Yakubu Gowon, Chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo GCFR, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and the last, but not the least Retired General Abdusalami Abubakar. If out current President is added for any reason, that would make the number 5 in all. But Apostle Suleiman specifically mentioned the incumbent, PMB in another prediction on number 10, saying he PMB would be rushed abroad on an (medical) emergency!

The oldest of these lot is General Gowon at about 80 plus (83 to be more precise), followed by Chief Obasanjo at 80 going in 81 in May of 2018, who many have claimed does not know his real age, so could in fact be the oldest but Chief Obasanjo the Owu warlord is still as seemingly strong like a man in his 50s, both are followed by IBB at 76 who should clock 77 in August of 2018, who for a while now has been ailing and then the youngest of them all who seem to be the strongest is AbdulSalami Abubakar at 75 and would be 76 in June of 2018!

So of these 4 or maybe 5, who is the Apostle speaking of or about?

We need to always look for and to celebrate in this part of the world, achievements and things that counts and that really makes sense. Not always about such people and such acts that do not edify nor inspire others, but people and actions that says and markets hardwork and perseverance as positive things.

So we have made up our mind, that we would from now on allow our platform to celebrate those kind of positive achievers, who can also positively inspire others to do the right and correct things. We would do our best to educate and inform, while also at the same time exposing what needs to be exposed.

The young lady here by name "Veronica Ebiweni Omofoma" at just 28 is a genius from Nigeria that is worth celebrating to high heavens for all the right things.

She studied for her 1st degree in "Electrical Electronic Engineering" at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, where she came out with a "First-class degree" and she even graduated as the "best overall graduating student at the University. Then she went on immediately to do her Master's, with a distinction in Petroleum Geophysics and Underwater Science at the London Imperial College, not yet done, she went further at still at her young age of 28 and she already has her PhD too!

Now that she's done with all the academics, we are too sure that she has the universe in front of her as her oyster. This is one extraordinary trailblazer in the making set to take over the world and we are happy to celebrate her and others like her.

OLUWO OF IWO- EMPEROR TELU 1, IS THIS NIGERIA'S MOST FLAMBOYANT ROYAL FATHER?

In every way and manner you might want to describe him he is loud!

Is it in the way he talks or what he says? Is it in his way of dressing? Those royal garbs he loves to adorn are what you can describe as "loud for a purpose".  They come in all the loudest colours that comes to mind, be it blood red, sunflower yellow, royal purple, florescent green, awesome burgundy, badass blue, just think of the colour, this King or should we say self styled Emperor of Iwoland is not shy at all!
