COZA'S HEAD PASTOR, PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO WINS CASE AGAINST BUSOLA DAKOLO AS COURT DECLARES THE CASE ABUSE OF COURT PROCESSES

Except the Dakolo's would want to take this case of alleged rape further, the court has since declared against them in their case of rape and given verdict favoring Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who was the accused in the case before. In delivering the judgment, the court even went ahead to ask Busola Dakolo to pay damages to the tune of N1m, that is one million Naira to the accused.

Many months back, the gorgeous wife of ace musician Timi Dakolo by name Busola, a mother of 3 & a photographer had in a very damning accusation that went viral and got so much traction and thereby elicited extraordinary reactions some in support of the man of God and much against him, had accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of raping her about twice, when she was still under aged in Ilorin, Kwara State before COZA became popular. Though the man of God had vehemently denied the allegations then as been untrue and unfounded, but that Busola came out then alone to make the accusation, had done the much required damage, bringing about questions on the type of person the man of God is and his character.

It was in the aftermath of the accusation against him and the uproar that followed it, that made Pastor Fatoyinbo to have temporarily step down then, so that investigations could be carried out. After which he had gone back to his church to a massive welcome. At a point there were gatherings around his churches in protest then, to make him to resign by force

Now with a court of competent jurisdiction declaring him not guilty of the accusations made against him and in fact giving him damages too, to be paid by the claimant-Busola Dakolo, it seems like the worst, which nearly ended his pastoral calling has now come to an end. Now is the time for him to move on, and move forward with more vigor and conviction in his ministry, after surviving a major scare of extraordinary proportion. For those who believed in him and trusted him, throughout his ordeal, this court's declaration, is actually that much needed vindication they had been awaiting and that they needed so much.

A Federal High Court sitting in Bwari, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, dismissed Busola Dakolo’s rape allegation case against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) and immediately awarded a cost of N1m against her

Busola had accused the dandy and quite popular Pastor of rape in an exclusive interview on Ynaija TV, several months ago.

The pastor who had maintained his innocence all through, had filed an objection to counter Busola, saying her statements were false and were concocted to defame his character.

But in a court ruling, the charges were dismissed and damages  awarded to the tune of N1m against the claimant, Mrs. Busola Dakolo. According to the verdict given, the N1m cost ought to be have been more, but 'the court didn't want to dissuade the real rape victims from coming forward to tender their claims'.

According to Justice Oathman A. Musa in her judgment, the matter amounted to injustice, and an abuse of judicial process as the case was empty and purely sentimental, adding that the case was aimed more at cruelty rather than obtaining justice.

The court then awarded costs of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the court’s time was wasted.

With this now. Would COZA or the Pastor of COZA now pursue a case against Busola Dakolo and others who had condemned him without giving him a fair thought or trial? 

#COZAGATE RAPE SCANDAL: FATOYINBO STYLISHLY STEPS BACK IN AS HE RETURNS AGAIN TO THE PULPIT FROM SELF IMPOSED SABBATICAL!

A few weeks back at the height of the raging hoopla that had engulfed him and his church over the rape allegations brought up against him by Busola Dakolo, the photographer wife of award winning soul singer Timi Dakolo, the popular man of (God) who is always well cladded in designer garbs and a senior pastor of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, did what was considered then a 'chivalrous deed', when he said he would step aside albeit temporarily, same way General IBB did then, so that he wouldn't interfere in any way with investigations into the grievous allegations that had been raised against him.

When he did step down temporarily from the pulpit then, many had thought it was the next honorable thing to do, as it would afford the investigators the unfettered opportunity to do their job without any interference and it also showed that the matter at hand was very important to him too, so it was better to sort it out once and for all and get it done with forever and ever.

But alas, only after about 3 Sundays after that decision to step away or aside till after the investigations would have been concluded, the dapper and quite handsome man of (God) has stylisy stepped back in quietly again by manning the pulpit to preach this Sunday that just passed.

It is either of 3 things, whether the allure of preaching/ministering, teaching (to) his teeming church members was just too much, so he decided to throw caution to the wind and just quietly went back to what he knows best to do. Or on the other hand, it just might be that the so called investigations into the whole matter (unpalatable mess) have already ended and the investigators, meaning the police on one side have finished their job and might have subtly declared the allegations to be of no consequence(s), or it might also mean that the church hierarchy be it CAN, PFN and even his own church having done what they have considered their  due diligence have advised him to go back to leading his church as he might not have any case to answer to, hence him going back to preaching on the pulpit publicly.

So yesterday, Sunday August 4, 2019 the pastor in the eye of the storm returned to the pulpit, to a rousing welcome by his church members who fervently believe in their pastor's innocence against all charges or better still allegations. To them what is currently going on, is an attempt/orchestration of the enemy of progress and growth, that enemy being the devil.

The pastor and his fervent followers believes that Satan and some willing instruments are hell bent on bringing him and his ministry down, so it's an on going battle, better still a war- good against evil, light against darkness, child of God against Satan's spawn. So in his ministration or preaching yesterday he alluded to some of the points we have raised in this article above. The title of his message yesterday was - "Sudden Victories"

He spoke to an unprecedented large crowd saying that "Christians would surely face persecution, but that God would always deliver them".

He took his texts from 1 Timothy 6:12; Mark 4:35-37 and 1 Corinthians 10:13, Fatoyinbo stated further that “as a Christian, you must face opposition. If God, who is holy and faithful has enemies, you are sure going to have.”

He noted that the reason most Christians fail was that they address challenging circumstances on the surface, instead of addressing the root of the matter, which is the enemy and putting him in his place.

“In wrestling, any method can be used. When faced with challenging circumstances, pray, fast, decree, confess and prophesy God’s victory over your life.

“Most contrary situations around you are set up by the enemy to cripple your faith and keep you on a spot,” he preached.

He then went on to prophesy that his members would witness victory in the new month of August.

More & more intrigues are coming up daily in this saga that has Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA on one side and on the other side, the duo of Busola and Timi Dakolo.

The world had woken up to a totally shocking interview not too long ago, where Busola, a photographer, wife and mother of the 3 kids of Bayelsan born musician Timi Dakolo had alleged that in 1999, while still 16 going on 17, she was raped twice in the space of one week by Pastor Biodun, who is now the Senior pastor of COZA church globally. The allegation had elicited so much reactions then. With many taking sides on both sides.

Now after the drama that followed, with Pastor Biodun having to step down temporarily to allow for investigation after much protest from the public. Followed by the petition from the couple to the police on the rape allegation, followed by some form of harassment and subtle intimidation from the police who had come to invite the couple for questioning on the counter petition of falsehood, Criminal Conspiracy and threat to life. Ken Eneduwa-George, a journalist who shuttles between London and Nigeria has alleged attempt to brib him, so as to help in changing the narrative as alleged by Busola and Timi Dakolo.

In light of recent events, I feel a need to share the context of a recent encounter. 

The decision to share the context of this encounter is necessitated by the viral social media video of attempted abduction of Timi Dakolo and his family that accosted my sight.

On the 8th of July, I was contacted by one of Biodun Fatoyinbo's associates whom I have enormous respect for, and whose name I will not mention here, as a result of the goodwill he enjoys with me. 

The discussion centred on how to turn things around in his friend's favour. I was given an open cheque and asked to name my price. 

Apart from the blank cheque, I was also offered unfettered access to all the resources I would need to manipulate the situation to favour him. 

I was not tempted. 

It was not even an issue to consider. I am a specialist and this would have been an easy situation for me to handle however, THE omoluabi in me would never betray my courageous father's good name. Moreover, the Dakolos are my family. 

It has now come to my knowledge that the offer I refused was accepted by others. 

I do not begrudge those who accepted whatever was offered for them to sell their souls. There is hunger in the land.

We are all aware that Nigeria's economy has been on its knees for a while now, and poverty is really biting hard. 

So hard that even some celebrities are struggling to provide the basic needs for their family.  

In the words of Harold Robbins, "every man has his price. For some it's money or women. And for others, it's the glory. But the honest man you don't have to buy - he winds up costing you nothing."

I had thought not accepting their offer and request to do their bidding was enough. However, the news headlines on social media on Saturday has proven that my refusal to help manipulate the situation was not enough. 

As a matter of fact, I would be failing in my responsibility as a decent human being if I do not speak up now.

I am not unmindful of the risk involved and the attacks to follow the aftermath of this disclosure. We are well aware of the modus operandi and the cult-like manner his followers operate by. I am aware of the onslaught that often befall people like myself who can read their moves, especially when they have tried to woo you unsuccessfully.

Seems like the people who should be unbiased and protect us have taken sides!!! Seems like the ones who should be the go between to investigate both sides in this battle, have decided to lean more to one side and are being used as a tool of HARASSMENT, Intimidation and home invasion. And so in order to avoid any unfortunate mishaps, Timi and Busola Dakolo have thought to shout to the world, to let the onlooking public/audience know what's going on, as their case seem to be taking a new dimension.

From their petition of rape of a minor, things have now shifted to a counter petition of Falsehood, Criminal Conspiracy and threat to life! Would the police as a protector of all citizens, remain an impartial arbiter in this matter? Apparently like we have always stated, Timi & Busola Dakolo had done their due diligence by filing a case of rape of a minor before going public with that interview that broke several tables and whose attendant hoopla has yet to subside!

Gentlemen of the Press –
My wife and I have called this press conference because, as a man, I have done what I am supposed to do – I stood by my wife when she decided to go public with her truth. It was not an easy decision but I was raised by my Grandmother – I saw that woman go to heaven and back for me – she used to trek kilometers to go to church to pray for me and sold everything to make sure we ate. From loving my Grandmother, I have a deep respect for women; I took the decision boldly as a man should. I stood for her when she came under attacks from the ill-intentioned members of society. I have fought for her even when I have been abused, lied against and accused of unspeakable things.

As a Father, however, I could not have foreseen the events of yesterday when an attempt was made to abduct myself and my wife – FOR TELLING HER TRUTH.

All we have asked is for this matter to be duly investigated. I did not expect that our residential address – where our children live – will be released to the public AND SINCE THEN, I have noted with increasing alarm, how my life, my wife’s life and the lives of our children have been put at risk by unscrupulous persons. We have been followed, our home has been watched, people have been standing in corners pointing fingers at our home – we have been unable to do any work; the children have had to be explained to several times why they cannot go outside and play.

As a Father and as the protector of my home under God, I have decided to come out and speak publicly against the harassment, bullying, and maliciousness we have received as law-abiding citizens of Nigeria – BECAUSE my wife decided to tell her truth and I decided that I trust her, I believe her and stand by her. I will never leave her side now and I will do my best to protect her. However, the good people of Nigeria, who have shown us so much love, deserve to know what has been happening.
On behalf of my family, I would like to share a few highlights, especially about the attempted abduction of yesterday, Saturday, July 20th, 2019:

HIGHLIGHTS

• On Thursday, June 27th, my wife, through her Legal Representative filed a petition with the police in Lagos State about Mr. Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) raping her as a minor. The Petition was filed at the Office of the Assistant General of Police, Alagbon, Ikoyi. We had 4 meetings spanning over 6 hours at the Police Station on that day and afterward, the A.I.G himself personally assigned the file immediately and asked for an expedited action to investigate the case. We decided not to publicize the fact that a case had been filed, as we believed that the law should be allowed to run its full course, undisturbed.

• We intentionally filed the police case, following the due process of the law before agreeing for the release of the interview that had been recorded many weeks before. The interview was then released with my wife’s permission, on Friday, June 28th, 2019 by Y!TV.

• We have since been to the Police Station in Lagos several times on invite by the Police to respond to various questions in the course of their investigations. WE WERE THEREFORE SHOCKED TO BE INVITED TO ABUJA – WHEN NO VISIBLE ACTION HAD BEEN TAKEN TO INTERVIEW MR. FATOYINBO.

• On Thursday, July 4th, Y!TV published another video with a former employee of COZA alleging that Pastor Biodun also raped her. My wife broke down crying as she listened to her interview “There are other women – this recent?!” she kept saying as she cried. What surprised us was how Modele Fatoyinbo, who asked my wife to come and help her look after their newborn child – which is what led to the second rape – is the same person that asked this lady to come and look after her children – again? 15 years after?! It is strange. We do not know this lady, we have still not met her, but we would like to thank her for lending her voice to this truth.

As far as we know, Mr Fatoyinbo has not been questioned on the strength of my wife’s petition – even after several invitations by the Police that we have honoured. However, we have been invited to go to Abuja to respond to queries on actions that are not crimes known under any Nigerian law – “mischief” and “falsehood” are not crimes; we were not given details of the supposed case, THERE WAS NO ADDRESS FOR THE POLICE INTERVIEW and NO RESPONSE HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US ON OUR OWN PETITION THAT HAS BEEN FILED ALMOST A MONTH AGO.

• On Wednesday, July 10th, our address was shared online by Kemi Olunloyo in the most careless, reckless and wicked manner. To think she is supposed to be a woman and a mother and had no regard for the safe keep of our children and she has infringed on our Fundamental Human Rights to Personal Dignity and Privacy and is risking the lives of my 3 little children! This was callous! I decided not to engage with her, but I want Nigerians, the Armed Forces, Amnesty International and the good men and women of the Nigeria Police Force to know that SINCE THEN people have been following myself and wife in tinted unmarked cars, TO OUR HOME! AT different times, in the last week we have been trailed. The last event is what happened again yesterday and this time an attempt was made to abduct my wife and I. I had to park our cars and stay indoors. My wife and I have been unable to work and my children have been unable to go out freely even in this holiday period.

YESTERDAY’S AMBUSH

• Yesterday, Saturday, July 20th, 2019 in the early afternoon, I had noticed a tinted bus parked near our home. I did not know that at the same time, my wife was being followed by a car into the estate.

• She noticed the car and out of fear, parked the car to be sure that her fear was not real – but it was. Every time she parked, the car parked and she decided that she should rush home quickly since she was near the house.

• When she got onto the street, she noticed the same bus I had seen earlier and saw that someone from the car that was following her signaled to the bus, at which point 3 ARMED POLICEMEN wearing SARS vests surrounded her car, demanding for her to come down. The door of the bus was open and she saw that the bus was full of armed policemen.

• She immediately called her lawyer and when the policemen heard that she was talking to a legal representative, they stepped back and claimed that they were only there to drop a letter; they had not said this before nor shown her the letter.

• Before then, they were demanding that I step outside the house. They had also demanded that my wife steps out of the car.

• The letters the Policemen said they had when they heard us speaking to the lawyer were then presented. We noted that the letters are dated Thursday, July 18th. Why were they being delivered on a Saturday afternoon by a bus full of armed policemen and a car trailing my wife into the estate? Why did they not deliver the letter and leave when neither myself nor my wife was present? And why did they only step back when they became aware that lawyers were involved? These questions have been on my mind. I do not have answers to them.

• The letters made no reference to any case or matter and it states that we are being investigated for a case of falsehood and mischief – two offenses that are not known in law.

• In the police’s press release yesterday, they claim a Police Invitation Letter is “… a polite investigative tool used in eliciting information voluntarily from parties to aid in a police investigation.” If they were just delivering a letter, the manner in which they intentionally tried to instill fear, intimidate us with guns and insist on our coming to their bus – was neither polite nor trustworthy.

• How is the Nigeria Police pursuing justice when Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who is the accused in my wife’s matter, is not being treated in this manner but the authorities I expect to pursue justice are attempting to intimidate myself and my wife?

• My children were at home!!!! They could also have been in their mother’s car!!!

• We have never threatened anyone on our lives. Rather, we are now the ones who feel threatened. That is why we have Falana & Falana Chambers representing us and they have reported this matter to the police.

• We receive the information from our lawyers, Falana & Falana Chambers, this morning that both our petition and the petition of Mr Biodun Fatoyinbo will be moved to Lagos. We acknowledge the effort of the Nigeria Police to ensure that our confidence in their impartiality, professionalism & good sense, in this case, is not shaken.

NEXT STEPS

• We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support we continue to receive from Nigerians at home and abroad. We acknowledge the online support of the First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari.

• We will not be intimidated. We are determined to get justice and ensure the church is a safe space for boys and girls.

• If they can intimidate my wife and I who have some level of public goodwill, what will happen to Amaka in Maitama who knows no one and has no one to speak for her?

The young man, whose beloved wife - Busola, the mother of his 3 adorable kids had confessed a few weeks ago that she was raped and molested not once by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA when she was 16 going on 17 has vowed to protect and support his wife and kids at this trying times no matter what, including intimidation by Pastor Biodun using the Police as a tool. #COZAGATE AND THE REAL BATTLE BEGINS. POLICE INVITE BUSOLA & TIMI DAKOLO OVER FALSEHOOD AND SUNDRY ISSUES

After what had seemed like a lull in the issue that had raised so much dust when Busola Dakolo went public alleging that many years back she was raped by the then much younger Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA in Ilorin, Kwara State. The real battle royale seem to have commenced forthwith.

The dust raised by the allegations raised by Busola then and supported by her husband Timi Dakolo had shaken the nation. With many taking sides either for or against. After the hoopla raised by Busola's allegations, another lady had come forward also too, tagged victim X, who had also claimed that she too was molested by Pastor Biodun whilst working for the church.

But in his defense initially after the allegations, the man of God had then denied ever ever raping before, either before as an ordinary person or after he had been cloaked as a pastor and his wife had also come out in the defense of her doting husband. To also allow for investigations, he had also decided to step down from his position as the pastor of the growing church which he founded in 1999 to allow for non interference in the investigation of the allegations against him.

Now after some form of quiet of over a week, the Police have now visited the couple to serve them a letter for them to report to them for investigations. In the letter sent, it is alleged against the couple, who have 3 kids-"Falsehood, Criminal Conspiracy and Threat to Life".

If care is not taken, the table might have turned against the couple now, as this is time they need to be at their strongest and as one. They were once on the ascendancy as at when the allegations first came out, now the opposition (the accused) are now on the offensive, making true that veiled allegations that the pastor had made then in his initial denial, where he had alleged that it was some sort of conspiracy & blackmail against himself. 

CAN FINALLY WADES INTO THE BUSOLA DAKOLO/PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO RAPE SAGA SEEKS AMICABLE SETTLEMENT

One of the main mother organizations/bodies in charge of churches in Nigeria, the CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria), the other been, the PFN (Pentecostal Federation of Nigeria) has finally lend her voice to the on going imbroglio that came up over the accusation of rape against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.

A few weeks ago, Busola Dakolo, the beautiful wife of musician Timi Dakolo had broken a massive table and on that table was an unpalatable can of worms, when she accused her former pastor of raping her when she was as young as 16 going to 17 sometimes in the late 90s about 1999 or so. About 20 years later now, what supposedly  happened then has now come to the surface and to come and hunt.

The accusation of rape against the now father of 4, who is now 43, who went to the University of Ilorin and Benin, where he found Christ after been a cultist is still raising so much dusts as we speak, with many taking sides for and against. In fact the rape discussion as been one of the top 5 subjects of discussion everywhere since the can of worms was broken open.

CAN had refused to say anything at first, mainly maybe because COZA the church where Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is the senior pastor and founder is not a member of the body. But finally now after much hoopla, they have thought to respond and what they seek for, is an amicable settlement to the matter. According to CAN they would want the 2 combatants to sheath their swords and seek for peace. Read their communication below.

"The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is seriously concerned about the disturbing situation concerning Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the General Overseer  of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly  (COZA), one of our leading Pastors in the country, on whom allegations of rape has been leveled by one of our daughters, Mrs Timi Dakolo.

It is disheartening how some commentators and columnists have been insulting the Body of Christ in Nigeria as a result of this incident. Like we have earlier stated, it doesn’t matter who is involved, rape is ungodly and reprehensible.

But we have resisted the temptation to jump into any conclusion since a body like ours will be expected to have uncovered the truth about any matter before making public statements and not base its position merely upon media reports.

Although we have disclosed that Pastor Fatoyinbo’s Church has not been an active member of CAN, that does not put the Church outside the spiritual watch-care of CAN.

CAN is the umbrella body for every Christian and Church in Nigeria. Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, does not turn back anyone that comes to Him and CAN also does not. The Ministry of the Church, according to Jesus Christ, is the Ministry of Reconciliation, which is centered on true love and forgiveness of those who repent.

The Bible states it clearly that “God demonstrates his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Roman’s 5:8,11). Having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, God has committed to us the ministry of reconciling the world unto Himself and to one another. (2 Corinthians 5:19-21).

Since both Pastor Fatoyinbo and Mrs. Timi Dakolo are Christians, the leadership of CAN is already seeking ways to address the issues in order to heal every wound already inflicted on the parties concerned and the body of Christ in general.

It is our hope that steps which will exacerbate the current damages already done will be avoided.

As we seek the help of CAN Elders and the Holy Spirit in resolving the current problem, it is our prayer that both parties will sheath their swords and stop the media war in the interest of the Church and for the greater glory of God".

Just in case you are wondering which Pastor Paul at least you can see from the pictures, that we are not referring to the one that many call or refers to as Apostle Paul in the scriptures/Bible, but we are referring to the one that presides over the congregation at famous 'House on the Rock Church, otherwise known as 'HOTR'. Why would we be asking about Pastor Paul Adefarasin in the first place and why do we think there was or is the need to hear from him?

It's maybe because he is the current pastor of both Timi and Busola Dakolo. So as sheep under his shepherdship/leadership this issue really concerns him then, if ever there is a word like shepherdship!

We know for a fact also that the sheep who have recognized and known leaders or shepherds wouldn't take or make decisions nor would they ever go to a war without the full backing of their captain. The captain here being Pastor Paul Adefarasin, who is the Head of the local assembly they attend.

We had come up with a theory at the very beginning of this saga, in our very first article when this rape saga was initially outed. And what we had said then was that, for Busola and Timi Dakolo to have come out at all, they must have done what we had called their due diligence. And part of doing that their due diligence on our thought, would have meant first, they agreeing with each other to give the battle at hand, all that it would need without flinching, once they came out. Once they had first agreed on that, they would then have had to commit all to God too as the battle ahead is not a little one. Part of committing all to God, would have meant that they would have first told their church; the church here could refer to jist their pastor alone or the elders of that their church. Once they have gotten the all clear from here to do what they believe is necessary. They would have also consulted with those who could interpret the law well and by this we mean lawyers. These interpreters of the law, wouod have weighed the matter or issue at hand objectively, who would then have given them the go ahead to give the issue at hand a proper go.

By the time they must have done all of these things above and maybe more, they would then wear thick skins and would be ready for all the bashings and crazy scrutiny and others that would surely come their way. As the first thing the other side would want to do, is to dig holes in their accusations, as they would try very hard to discredit them also. Our theory is based on the fact that, "no one goes to war without preparing at least very well ahead for it". In the 'art of war', it pays to know your enemy well, anticipating and getting ready for what could come up at any given time. Being able to at least predict maneuverings that could spring up, so as to minimize surprises (attacks) to the barest minimum!

You can see very well that after the initial interview done by Busola that unleashed everything and broke open the can of worms, she has since returned back into her quietude. It's has been only her husband, supporting from the flanks, that comes out now intermittently to address certain issues and he too immediately afterwards then withdraws again to observe, prepare and respond if it needs be.

So how has their pastor seen this whole matter, especially as it concerns a brother man of God, who has been accused by his daughter and by extention his son, of preying and violation and utter misconduct???

The outspoken man of God, has since maintained a, should we say 'dignified silence'!!!! Is this dignified silence like saying what an elder knows, he doesn't toy or play with? Maybe when the time is right, then he would speak? One of the qualities of shepherds, good ones at that, is that they wouldn't allow their sheep to fall into harms way, no matter what.

Would he have been in a dilemma, as the case or issue at hand concerns his son and daughter in the Lord who are victims and on the other side the accused, is a fellow church founder, a man of God too, who is commissioned like him.

Still on this matter, which would not just go away like some want it to. And we are talking about the Busola and Co vs. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo rape issue/saga. As expected the idea from those who support Pastor Fatoyinbo was to do everything possible to discredit the person and personalities of the victims who have come out to give their confessions. So the idea was to employ unnecessary and unfounded rumors that cannot be verified to try to intimidate these victims and pooh-pooh their confessions.

Some of the rumors that were flying around and were seemingly growing wings were that, Busola and Timi got married in COZA-a lie. That COZA or Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo sponsored their honeymoon-a lie. That they got cash and car gift from COZA or Pastor Fatoyinbo-a lie. That Timi used to work at COZA as a sound engineer or music director etc-another lie. All of those things subtly planted like after they had enjoyed the man's largesse, they now want to ridicule him have all since fallen down like a pack of badly arranged cards. We have heard some things already in this unfolding saga and we have been baffled by what some have given as explanations to rationalize their take on the issue. One of our major conclusions is that, women are the outright and outrageous enemies of themselves.

Just after Timi Dakolo debunked claims of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo officiating his wedding to Busola, Pastor Yemi Davids of Global Impact Church has also confirmed that the couple got married in his church.

Pastor Yemi Davids who also revealed that he has been privy to some personal struggles Busola has had over the years, stated that what she said is her truth and should be honored even though there was a denial.

The Global Impact Church Pastor who stated that he supports any process that will bring justice, healing and resolution in the matter, wrote;

4• Apparently, I had a child, divorced and remarried Busola – Spirit wife and child tings # AfricaMagic, and Busola was given monetary gift, car and flown to Chicago. No be only Chicago, na Soweto. Please do better, tell more believable lies.

We have had the opportunity to sit back away from the chaos to watch & observe all that had gone down since the unprecedented uproar & hoopla that followed the revelations by Busola Dakolo, ace photographer and wife of top rated musician Timi Dakolo and mother of 3, who had said that she was 'raped twice' in the space of one week by her former pastor, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo when she was just 17 years old.

At first after the allegation was made in an interview that has since gone platinum viral, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo the man at the center of the (storm) accusations, who has since step aside for investigation was quiet and never said anything, until his wife in his defense came up on Sunday to say her husband is not a rapist and has never been a rapist. He the pastor himself was said to have proclaimed that he was never a rapist either as an unbeliever or a believer.

Curiosly from the pastor and his wife's counter against the unpalatable allegations, they were only able to address the matter of rape alone. They never at any point denied not knowing Busola. We want to now ask as we have examined their robust response very well and scrutinized it from top to bottom, and we observed that, Pastor Fatoyinbo never ever, even for once in any of his statements, never claimed not to have never had any type of "sexual relationship" with Busola!

He and madam have only addressed the issue of rape only! Both never addressed Busola's case directly on total, they only responded that there had never been rape, either before or after!

So are we to then believe that yes, something akin to sexual, actually happened, but whatever the type of relationship that it was, it wasn't rape or a violation or forced? Is the pastor then admitting that something actually went down then with the 17 year old and is now insinuating then that it was consensual????

A more robust response would or could have been that, yes I know Busola, and there was never any type of (forced or consensual) sexual relationship between us, not to now talk of rape!!!!! So did pastor have something with Busola????? 

REVEREND 'BIODUN FATOYINBO FINALLY RESPONDS TO CALLS TO STEP DOWN AS HE DOES SO TODAY VIA A COMMUNIQUE ON HIS PAGE

The call for the senior pastor of COZA Abuja, Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly to step down so that the allegations against him could be properly investigated as finally yielded fruit. Many had raised their voices sky high and had asked that the man who presides over the growing congregation, who was accused of serial rape by Busola Dakolo should either resign or step aside and it's like their prayers and shouts have been heard.

Today in a communique released by the man himself on his official social media platform on Instagram, bearing his name had decided to step down and stay away from the pulpit till the investigation into all the allegations raised against him are concluded.

Many popular voices likes of Fela Durotoye, Charles O'tudor, Stella Damascus and more had joined thousands others to ask that the pastor do the most honorable, which was to step down so as to allow proper unrestricted investigations and the man finally did today.

In his letter above, he spoke about how the situation at hand had gotten to him and had had a sobering effect on him and he had decided to call on the elders, his mentors he had spoken earlier about-who are looking into the matter at hand and who had then advised him to step aside so the whole allegations could be investigated.

He went on to say he doesn't understand what is going on at all and sought the prayers of everyone, not just for himself alone but for his church (congregation) also too.

BUSOLA DAKOLO-THE NEW VOICE/TRUMPET OF A GENERATION

Since the genteel lady, the mother of kids and the wife of a gentleman took courage as a companion and gut as a friend and came out in that YouTube video in that interview conducted by Chude Jideonwu, where she revealed and narrated that she was raped twice in the space of one week by her then shepherd/pastor/mentor, who is the flamboyant, designer wearing leader of COZA (Commonwealth of Zion Assembly) in Abuja, the FCT, it has been like she acted like the great Moses and hit the rock and the water has been gushing out, in fact pouring and pouring ever since unabated and unstoppable.

The shock of that unprecedented revelation, the gut and strength of the expose has since given strength and voice to so many, many that had been in limbo for so long, many all across who had suffered in silence having been violated many times over by many of those they had gone to seeking for help, succor and embrace.

Many that had been held in bondage for years, the bondage, the jail of what they had had to keep to themselves all this while, for so long and that had gradually been eating them up like a cancer, until now. Many can be said to have been suffering from depression and with just one action, Busola Dakolo has somewhat allowed many to exhale finally.

Maybe many who have never experienced her pain and what she's gone through, might not really understand what her action has done for her. We wouldn't stop reiterating the fact that it must have taken super human strength and unbelievable gut for this quiet giant to have come out to experience this kind of scrutiny that has suddenly come her way since many hours ago, when the video recording hit the airwaves.

With what her action has elicited, with how this advocacy has helped to break down chains of oppression, freeing those who had been in limbo all of these while, those whose kept in and internalized secrets that had nearly turned into time bombs, waiting to blow up to smithereens inside them as they had no outlet to pour out their pain. Many had been suffering terribly in silence all of this while and because of those unnecessary secrets they have had to keep unduly, many's misbehavior and misconducts could be traced and ascribed to their pasts. They were looking for outlets and were somewhat protesting via their actions.

And in just one fell swoop, scales have fallen, eyes have seemingly opened, burdens lifted dramatically and people are breaking off chains!!! So no matter how anyone see it, Busola has become a breaker of chains and the voice of a generation. Do you agree????

What would or could have made a mother of children and a wife of a well known husband, decide to come out openly to talk about what supposedly happened to her many many years back that nearly messed up her growing up? What would she & husband want to gain by bringing a supposed, very successful man of God down? Is there a time frame allowed for rape and the consequences of it, if the terrible violation had truly occurred?

For Busola to have finally summed up the courage, the gut to spill and break the Pandora's box of mess, if she and family were smart enough, they would have made sure to have done their due diligence first. The one the have decided and are determined to expose is not a small fry at all in any way and manner. You are coming against the might, power and influence of a whole church! If that church that the man presides over love him, like we know COZA loves Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, then the might of the church and her influence are what you know you would have to contend with. And that's not a small thing at all.

For Busola to come out like she has, she must have first settled it in secret with her God. Secondly she must have settled it well also with her partner and in this case her husband Timi Dakolo. Timi would have had to give his express backing and unflinching support as the head of the family. Mennnn, this dude is a strong man ooooooo. And he would have had to steel himself to withstand any scrutiny and attack that would come against his family from all sides. This is more a battle of David against Goliath any way one would look at it.

Going further, to do this kind of battle, the couple would have had to have settle with their church too and gotten their church backing with the support of the leader of that particular church too is also very important. If one is correct, the family we think worships at the House on the Rock. Then also, they must have gotten the advises and assurances of their lawyers too, who would have had to weigh the merits and demerits of the exposure before they would give a go ahead or the all clear to go at it.
So this matter is not a small matter and it is one that could drag for a long while.

Let's try to examine the mind of Busola a bit. First and foremost, for her to have done what she's done, we are too sure she must have well understood that maxim, that says very clearly, that "he or she that must come to equity, must do so with clean hands". This is so because, if this thing ever becomes a court case, every can of worms, true and false will be exposed! So it must be established that prior to the supposed rape, that truly she was actually a virgin and not a wanton. The other side would do everything possible to expose, deal with and damage her reputation to prove their innocence.

If truly the rapes happened, and it happened so long ago, why did she take so long to come out to expose the violation? Why now after she's married and has kids? Why bring undue or supposedly unnecessary attention your way, especially when you are not in need of any monetary gain? Maybe she's only just finally gained enough strength and emotional balance after all this while to expose what she went through and that she needed healing from now? Maybe they, that's her husband and her just heard again something that must have triggered a reaction, which must have said to them, "enough is a enough". This has just got to stop! Some people might just not be able to understand  & rationalize that someone they know to be more than vile, is seen by the public as a Saint.

What process should she and her family have adopted to expose the shame and stopped it from happening to others??? Maybe they have the understanding that to report to the police first would just have been another journey to no where. What if they knew that the matter would just have been swept under the carpet, especially again as the so called violation(s) didn't just happen now and the way victims are even treated by our so called law enforcement officials is another thing. Also they could have envisaged the intimidation that would arise and just thought to adopt the method they have used now.

What if they had taken their time to investigate some other cases first, gotten confessions and evidences and even have witnesses in their tens who are willing to come out and speak at the right time!!!! Like we had said earlier above, they would have needed to do their due diligence first before coming out to out their so called adversary.

It is said that Busola after the YouTube video expose and the attendant hoopla had gone on to say that the pastor and church should go ahead and sue if they dared!!! If she actually truly said that, she must then be so sure of what she has at hand then and must be well prepared for this battle, which would take a while oooooo.

In the days to come though, she and her husband's name would be dragged in the mud in every conceivable way possible as the rain would surely pour in torrents unabated. The church and their friends would come out with fangs and claws drawn to defend their own. Hmmm they Timi & Busola must develop thick skins. The threat of all shades and intimidation would be unbelievable and crazy. Their so called adversary is a pastor and not a small fry at all and one that has seemingly endless funds. Also if the allegations are not true, he would fight with his very soul to clear his name and get damages too at that.

All in all, the burden of proof is on Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo to prove nothing ever truly happened of the sort as described by Busola and also that he has never ever been involved in any cases of rape, intimidation, sexual violation, misconducts before. He has come out to say he has never ever violated anyone before, ever ever, even when he was an unbeliever. So that's a start. Pastor and church have also smartly anticipated that many would or could soon ride on the wave of this expose to even reveal far more, unpalatable things. And from the little we have heard and seen, many things are being unearthed already.

We await this court case with glee and all excitement.

People have said why didn't Busola go to court in the first place? Yeah she didn't go to court naaaa, so she came out to say certain things, a few of which tallied with the claims made by Ese Walters many years back. Pastor Fatoyinbo has the opportunity now, once and for all prove all liars wrong. So please sue their asses tight.

So they have tried to blackmail you now, prove it.

This case from all I see is going to be the opening of an unprecedented and unwanted terrible can of worms. So let's see if the marines would hear these stories or not!!!! PLEASE PASTOR CLEAR YOUR NAME OOOOOOO!!!!! I so badly want to believe you. I pray and hope you can cope with what is going to be unleashed in the next many days?????  You have to defend your honour against so so very many ooooooo. Hmmmmmm!!!!!

For those who believe Busola Dakolo, please pray very well for her and her family oooooo. She needs all the spiritual help and support, encouragement and protection possible right now. She has stirred the hornets nest & may she come out of it unscathe! Also for Pastor Biodun as it is now, it is only the host of heaven that can help to clear this mess you have been exposed to. If truly you are innocent as you have claimed against Busola, Ese and some others who are hellbent on letting the world know what they have supposedly suffered, may heaven be on your side oooooo. 

PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO RESPONDS ROBUSTLY TO THE ALLEGATION OF RAPE AS ALLEGED BY BUSOLA DAKOLO

The flamboyant senior pastor of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA) Abuja, the FCT has finally jettisoned quietude and responded robustly to the allegations of repeated rape brought against him by the beautiful wife of Bayelsan born music star Timi Dakolo, in the person of Busola Dakolo.

In a recorded interview aired on YouTube and which has gained so much traction as conducted by Chude Jideonwu of Y! Naija, the man of God was accused as being a rapist by Busola Dakolo. The lady in interview made sure to relate how her relationship with the pastor developed into what later became rape. But in a subsequent 2 pages press release, that was released on his personal Instagram page, the Pastor has denied ever raping before, even as an unbeliever. In that release he stated categorically that even while not yet a Christian he had never molested anyone in his life before, not to talk about when he had become a Christian.

From his statement, he went on to insinuate and infer that the said YouTube airing by Y! Naija was a calculated attempt to blackmail him, bring his name to disrepute and cast aspersions on his person and by extension a way to bring down his church . He went further to state that this particular attempt is in fact one out of the numerous attempts.

So in the light of his statement, he has also said that the church has made up their mind to seek redress through the law courts. In his response Pastor stated that the interview was fallacious and non-existent and which are all denied.
