CAN FINALLY WADES INTO THE BUSOLA DAKOLO/PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO RAPE SAGA SEEKS AMICABLE SETTLEMENT

Outgoing CAN President 

One of the main mother organizations/bodies in charge of churches in Nigeria, the CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria), the other been, the PFN (Pentecostal Federation of Nigeria) has finally lend her voice to the on going imbroglio that came up over the accusation of rape against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.

A few weeks ago, Busola Dakolo, the beautiful wife of musician Timi Dakolo had broken a massive table and on that table was an unpalatable can of worms, when she accused her former pastor of raping her when she was as young as 16 going to 17 sometimes in the late 90s about 1999 or so. About 20 years later now, what supposedly  happened then has now come to the surface and to come and hunt.

The accusation of rape against the now father of 4, who is now 43, who went to the University of Ilorin and Benin, where he found Christ after been a cultist is still raising so much dusts as we speak, with many taking sides for and against. In fact the rape discussion as been one of the top 5 subjects of discussion everywhere since the can of worms was broken open.

CAN had refused to say anything at first, mainly maybe because COZA the church where Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is the senior pastor and founder is not a member of the body. But finally now after much hoopla, they have thought to respond and what they seek for, is an amicable settlement to the matter. According to CAN they would want the 2 combatants to sheath their swords and seek for peace. Read their communication below.

"The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is seriously concerned about the disturbing situation concerning Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the General Overseer  of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly  (COZA), one of our leading Pastors in the country, on whom allegations of rape has been leveled by one of our daughters, Mrs Timi Dakolo.

It is disheartening how some commentators and columnists have been insulting the Body of Christ in Nigeria as a result of this incident. Like we have earlier stated, it doesn’t matter who is involved, rape is ungodly and reprehensible.

But we have resisted the temptation to jump into any conclusion since a body like ours will be expected to have uncovered the truth about any matter before making public statements and not base its position merely upon media reports.

Although we have disclosed that Pastor Fatoyinbo’s Church has not been an active member of CAN, that does not put the Church outside the spiritual watch-care of CAN.

CAN is the umbrella body for every Christian and Church in Nigeria. Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, does not turn back anyone that comes to Him and CAN also does not. The Ministry of the Church, according to Jesus Christ, is the Ministry of Reconciliation, which is centered on true love and forgiveness of those who repent.

The Bible states it clearly that “God demonstrates his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Roman’s 5:8,11). Having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, God has committed to us the ministry of reconciling the world unto Himself and to one another. (2 Corinthians 5:19-21).

Since both Pastor Fatoyinbo and Mrs. Timi Dakolo are Christians, the leadership of CAN is already seeking ways to address the issues in order to heal every wound already inflicted on the parties concerned and the body of Christ in general.

It is our hope that steps which will exacerbate the current damages already done will be avoided.

As we seek the help of CAN Elders and the Holy Spirit in resolving the current problem, it is our prayer that both parties will sheath their swords and stop the media war in the interest of the Church and for the greater glory of God".

CONTROVERSIAL TOP ACTRESS VERY WELL KNOWN FOR DRAMA SET TO BE OUTED AGAIN SOON!;

This story is still a developing gist and it is still off the radar as at now, so if the person involved would do the needful, maybe sleeping dogs would be allowed to lay. But knowing this controversy prone thespian, she might just throw caution to the wind and out of desperation, not give a damn or care in the whole world, not minding the attendant hoopla might just go on!

At the very least, twice now on very major note/scale, the in your face prominent role interpreter has been involved in scandals of monumental proportions, that took over the internet and shook everywhere.

She's a famn gorgeous thespian by all standards, not too beautiful, but pretty in a sort of way and you can still class her as a eye candy, she is stylish or at least  her style in the last few years has  greatly improved. She is/was married and a mother. When the nasty fight between her and now estranged husband broke out it raised a lot of hoopla, she accused the man of assault and battery, he raised hell about her alleged unbridled, unrelenting and unrepentant promiscuity. Many unsubstantiated unpalatable things were revealed as the man painted his wife as a wanton.  Both haven't been able to reconcile ever since.

Though she has remained separated ever since that hoopla, which allows her to play the field as she wants to, her supposed current flame is said to be a married man! Same thing she has been accused of before.

Apparently her birthday is upcoming in the next few months so she wants to dazzle all comers with a trend worthy celebration! Not only that, she wants to also fly the dead dad "in good air to heaven" with a celebration that can match her status and name, so to do that she needs to raise the funds required. And to make that happen, anything goes!

Apparently she has caught a "Maga", a married spendthrift in her trap and she has sunk her teeth in deeply. But alas, she's made a mistake, as the man's beautiful wife is said to have come across her "silly text" to her husband. Now that madam had found out, she's carefully scheming, she's gone on stealth mode, aligning things for when she would pounce. She wants to dish out the full dirts openly and publicly, but she's apparently taking her time maybe to see whether like the street would say whether the thespian would "find or hire herself some brains"!

Madam is said to be carefully bidding her time and getting set to "out" this person she has tagged a "Desperado".

Would she err on good judgement and quietly unlock her jaw and fangs and just go enjoy the blood she's already sucked? Or would she damn the consequence and plunge on?

Let's just wait and see!

SPG'S STELLA ODUAH REVEALS DIEZANI ALLISON-MADUEKE WAS HER NEMESIS WHO ORCHESTRATED HER SACK AS MINISTER!

There had been the unconfirmed gist whilst both were in power that they were bitter rivals kind of, but the truth behind such gist was not readily ascertained until very recently.

Both were high ranking members then in the administration of the then President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, and had unfettered access to the Number 1 man, but in between them, there was major rivalry what could have led to that we don't readily know, but at least that there was no love lost has now been confirmed with yesterday's revelation by former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah, who is rhe owner of SPG a massive Oil and Gas Company.

From her recent outburst as packaged in a book said to be coming out soon she claims that she was pushed out from the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan by the chicanery of the former now beleaguered Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs. Dieziani Allison-Madueke.

The new book is titled "On a Platter of Gold: How Jonathan won & lost Nigeria, written by a former minister in the same cabinet who most definitely should know, by the name Bolaji Abdullahi. According to the very reliable online news platform The Cable, who have seen the advance copy of the book which is yet to come out. The explosive book, packed with revelations is set to be out nationwide after the launch on November 30, 2017.

According to the book, Stella Oduah claimed that when the hoopla from the scandal about the $1.6million armoured BMW purchased for her by the NCAA broke, the President then summoned her for her explanation on the issue. At the meeting with the President were the then SGF Pius Anyim & Dieziani. She claimed that her explanation to the President was seemingly satisfactory as she had claimed there was nothing untoward in the deal.

Alison-Madueke also appeared sympathetic and even promised to speak to her friends in the national assembly and the media “to back down” on the issue.

“I thought she had my back. I did not know at the time that she was actually fuelling it and orchestrating all the media attacks,” she told Abdullahi.

“I knew all along that Diezani could not deal with having another female around who had the kind of access I had to the president. But she went too far. She thought I was the one who leaked the issue of private jet  that put her into trouble with the House of Representatives (Diezani was accused of spending N10 billion on chartered jets). For her it was payback time.”

Twice, she had offered to resign before her sack but Jonathan asked her not to, according to her, yet the issue did not go away.

“Diezani was paying people to keep the story alive. At the same time, she was whispering in [the president’s] ears that he had to take action,” Oduah alleged, adding that the plan to get her arrested by EFCC was countered by other members of the cabinet.

A presidential committee headed by Sambo Dasuki, then national security adviser, eventually indicted  Oduah.

When the president told her that she had to go, Oduah asked: “Did Diezani ask you to sack me?”

Jonathan answered no, but there and then it was agreed that she should be eased out of government.

On January 12, 2014, she was removed as minister.

Abdullahi, the author, was fired as minister of sport in March 2014 by Jonathan allegedly on account of his “godfather”, Bukola Saraki, who had joined other party rebels in defecting to the APC.

Oya, let's talk about the Mercy Aigbe/Lanre Gentry Scandal....

First and foremost, I pity men who marry women on the fast lane, it is a very, very terrible experience that one must not find himself. A man must be able to not only marry a woman that suits his personality, but must be able to train his woman to suit his sanity.

Yoruba, the language of the gods says "Ile Oko, Ile Eko" (The husband's house is a new school of learning). But, unfortunately, majority of women today, don't want to live by this principle. They want to live large, have fast lane friends and earn fat figured things like cars, houses, jewelries and landed properties without much ado.

They want to either live a crisis laden life style or simply live a lie. And if you are not a man who can be BLIND to all their theatrics, then, you are not a feminist. In fact, you are an animal.

I sincerely sympathize with Mr. Gentry. And I equally sympathize with men who are calling his head for cut, and who fail to see many of the societal pot holes actresses in Nollywood industry have led themselves to either by fault or default.

Last year, I promised to offer my opinion on the Tiwa Savage/TeelBillz issue but i couldn't make do with my intention. I hope what I make out of this one will be good enough to glean the theatrics of the old issue.
