GODWIN MEKWUYE'S VIVID IMAGINATION SET TO ROCK ABUJA

For the first time since it began business over two decades ago, one of Nigeria’s leading fashion labels, Vivid Imagination has opened a flagship store!
Vivid which has been operating from its Headquarters  in Obanikoro, Lagos for years has decided to take its time-tested designs and outfits to yearning clientele in the Nation’s capital, Abuja.

According to Godwin Mekwuye, the brand’s decision to open a flagship store inside the Valley Mall,  Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent in Wuse II, Abuja is to cater for teeming clients who have clamoured for a long time to have the opportunity of wearing Vivid Imagination's first-rate outfits.

“We have been receiving a deluge of orders from Abuja and the surrounding states for years, we believe that it is time for us to have a presence in the Federal Capital Territory and take our craft to as close to these customers as possible”

Vivid Imagination, renowned for its trendy and creative kaftans, agbadas and safari suits has over the years revolutionized the way Nigerians wear traditional attires with its innovative designs that are subtle yet sophisticated and it promises that this new store will always stock its latest ready-to- wear lines.  Customers, who desire made-to-measure or bespoke outfits are also at liberty to place orders, take measurements in-store and have the outfits delivered.
Apart from clothes, the flagship store will also stock men accessories such as caps, belts, bags and shoes by acclaimed designers like Valentino, Aldo Brue, Moreschi, Mauri, Alexandro  Del’Acqua, Stemar and Di Paolo. These accessories though produced by these top labels are exclusive to Vivid Imagination, which means the styles and designs are unique.
Apart from its flagship store, we also gathered that Vivid Imagination products are now also available inside The K City Plaza, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, and Mekwuye explains that it is part of the company’s strategic plan to maintain a stronger brand presence in Abuja. He hinted that the same model will be replicated in other major cities in Nigeria.

We also gathered that the fashion label as part of this new move will be opening up its hitherto exclusive wardrobe/style consultancy service to the public, we are told that the idea behind this decision is geared towards ensuring that many more Nigerians imbibe the style and elegance personified fashion concept that Vivid Imagination has consistently promoted for years.
On what had been the staying power for the brand, Mekwuye said the brand has focused on quality control and innovation, adding that instead of following trends, Vivid Imagination has stuck to its trademark style of understated elegance, “This is because here, we hold the firm believe that style never goes out of fashion”
