LEXY MOJO-EYES SCORES HIGH WITH AFRICA FASHION RECEPTION IN PARIS, FRANCE

It was a glorious collaboration a couple of weeks ago when the Nigerian Embassy in France, World Fashion Organisation, Paris Luxury Events & Legendary Gold Limited, where Lexy Mojo-Eyes is the head honcho presented the Africa Fashion Reception of the World Fashion Week. The very glamourous event took place at the Salle Wagram, one of the poshest & most exclusive areas of Paris, France. 


There were 16 of the best designing talents from 16 African countries, apparently those chosen had undergone rigorous scrutiny by the organisers, At the end the final 16 that participated at the reception were the following- Anggy Haif- Cameroun, Francois 1er- Burkina Faso, Soucha- Egypt, Fay Designs- Zambia, B'Exotiq by Bee Authur- Ghana, Kipusa- Kenya, Moie- Liberia, Maria Bocoum- Mali, Siham El Habti- Morocco, Framk Osodi- Nigeria, Lilly Alfonso- Malawi, Dady de Maximo- Rwanda, Nafytoo- Senegal, Diana Fashion- Tanzania, JSE Couture- South Africa & Chaivo Designs- Zimbabwe. 

In attendance at the event were the creme of the French & African audience, there was the Mayor of Paris, over 12 Ambassadors from 12 countries, the Nigerian Ambassador to France was represented by the Minister in charge of Economy, Investment & Trade at the Nigerian Embassy, Mr Kenneth Nwachukwu, also in attendance were the CEO/Chairman of the World Fashion Week & members of the board of Governors of the World Fashion Council, the wife of the Governor of Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola, Aisha Babangida-Shinkafi, Consul-General at the Nigerian Embassy, Alex Oriaku, the publisher of Ovation International Bashorun Dele Momodu, Mrs Merit Gordon-Obua, Comrade Jude Imagwe and many others. 

At the event, Aisha Babangida-Shinkafi's Charity foundation, Better Life Programme for African Rural Women, where she's the Chairperson was introduced to a global audience. Also at the event Mrs Merit Gordon-Obua, the wife of the CSO to the President of Nigeria, was invested as a patron of the World Fashion Council. The 1st African to be so honoured. 

At the end of the event the President/CEO of Legendary Gold Limited, Mr. Lexy Mojo-Eyes had this to say-

‘Again we have just been able to step up the game. Paris still remains where it is when it comes to fashion. It is still the world’s fashion capital. Taking into consideration how difficult it is to impress the French fashion industry,  acceptance in Paris at this level is all anyone can ask for’.
