GODSWILL AKPABIO QUIET BIRTHDAY FOR WIFE-EKAETTE UNOMA AKPABIO IN DUBAI

EKAETTE UNOMA AKPABIO
BURJ-AL-ARAB

Madam 1st lady of Akwa-Ibom, Unoma Akpabio clocked 42 recently, born on June 9, 1971 in Enugu state and many had expected a mother of all birthday celebration to mark the birthday. Unfortunately for the revelers who had wanted clink champagne flutes and have the fun of their lives all on the expense of the very generous action Governor of probably the richest State in Nigeria- Akwa-Ibom.

It was at the same weekend of madam's birthday, that the wedding of the decade held in Dubai, the UAE. His Excellency, the Governor- Godswill Akpabio & madam first lady were the guests of Otunba Jide Omokore at the nuptial between Faizer & Oluwatosin. Governor Akpabio was even one of those who admonished the newly wedded couple on the virtues of marriage.

So Sunday, June 9, 2013 after the party that rocked Dubai to its foundation the day before, Oga & Madam decided to have a 'quiet celebration'. Venue of the quiet celebration, was where they had lodged while around for the wedding, and we hear it was at the only 7-star hotel in the world- Burj-al-Arab (Tower of the Arabs) Hotel, the 4th tallest hotel in the world is also said to be the most luxurious hotel in the world also.

Cost of a night at the hotel is said to be from #244,652. So instead of having a jamboree, Governor & Madam just had a cosy private celebration, thanking God for his grace & mercy. In attendance were just the aides of the Governor & madam.

Happy belated birthday madam. Many more years to come.
