WINES OF SOUTH AFRICA AND NELSON MANDELA GRANDTASTING UPCOMING EVENT





Wines of South Africa 2nd Grand Tasting will be held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, on the 19th July 2013 starting from 18:00 – 22:00. This event coincides with the Nelson Mandela Day celebrations around the globe and South African wine producers will showcase over 336 wines from different regions in the Cape Winelands.

Following the success of last year’s October 2012 tasting, this annual event is now established as a platform that delivers an up-market audience in a very prestigious environment. This tasting event aims to promote awareness of the South African category in the Nigerian market, the 12th largest importer of packaged wine from South Africa and the third biggest among African countries.

Wines will be presented in a walk around tasting targeting trade such as importers, distributors and portfolio managers working in the food and beverage/hospitality industry. We also want to engage with consumers in the Nigeria market and demystify wine and make it more accessible to everyone.
These are some of the fine South African wines that will be showcased at the event and some presented by the principals of the of the wineries and guests can come prepared with taste buds ready to be dazzled and questions that will leave them better informed about South African Wines and be rest assured to have an good time.

The event is being put together and coordinated by Spronks Creations Ltd, the organisers of the Nigeria wine and spirit festival now Nigeria international wine and spirit fair.
